I swear by Summer Bisque. It gives my face a golden tan and covers all blemishes. I stared using this last year around May because i noticed that my body was getting darker and my face was pale. You can use this to cover up pimples or apply a thin layer all over your face for a nice glow. Combined with a self tanner, it looks like you have a tropical summer glow.

I wear the shades Medium Beige (Original foundation) and Medium Tan (Ready foundation) for the most part. Sometimes, I will wear Golden Medium (Original foundation) as well. However, no matter which one of the three shades that I wear, I like to pair it up with Summer Bisque as my concealer.
I like to use Summer Bisque for spot concealing wherever needed on my face. Also, I like using it on my eyelids as well as underneath my eyes to cover up shadowing in those areas. And, I am so glad that it has SPF20 in it, which aids in keeping my face protected from the sun's damaging UV rays.
This concealer is an all-around winner in my book. And, I will certainly continue to re-purchase it.

I just got this concealer in Summer Bisque.
In Bare Escentuals foundation, I use Medium Beige or Medium Tan ; so this concealer is just a little lighter than I needed it to be , but it was OK, and I didnt mind the color, as its sheer, and I can balance the color with the foundation powder .
I usually use liquid foundation to cover blemish and eye area, and Im not a much of concealer fan. However I decided to give this a shot, because I am happy with the foundation of this brand, and I really want to stay away of unhealthy makeup.
The coverage : It has gerat coverage for small blemishes, I love it.
The staying power is great : I have been at work for 6 hours with no problem.
Cons: I have combination skin. I find this concealer very drying, especially under-eye area, but not only. Its strange since the foundation is not drying at all, but concealer , which should absolutely not be drying is so dry. Maybe this is the reason it says for a long time on the skin . Make sure you use a lot of moisturizing cream before you apply the concealer, on your under-eye area.

I'm not a big fan of the bare minerals foundation- I find it looks mask-like on me, so when I tried this concealer I wasn't expecting much. I was really impressed with this product, yeah the powder packaging can get messy, but I find if I apply this with a small kabuki brush I get a really good natural coverage that is buildable without looking cakey like the foundations in this line. I have some redness and breakouts and use this around my nose and it really seems to even out my skintone. I wouldn't use this under my eyes, but I have repurchased this a few times and I've also used it for minor scar coverage too.

I do enjoy this product. Works well under the eyes and around the nose. I use as a setting powder in the areas after concealer.

Ok, so I LOVE the original "Bisque" since for some reason that one just blends a lot better and very nicely.
This one "summer bisque" has a nice color, but as a concealor (even with primer), for some reason just brings out any lines around my eyes (even tho I really dont have any!)
BUT....this is GREAT as an all over coverage/foundation! For some reason this color is just perfect for me during winter and fall for my FACE..but as for my eyes and under eyes, it just kind of doesn't blend as well as the original one. But if you find that it isnt as good for your eyes, use this as a foundation powder for all over blending-it works great :)

This is a great concealer with great coverage. It is too dark for my undereye area in the winter as I am very pale with yellow/olive undertones but in the summer it matches beautifully. In the winter I only use Well Rested by Bare Minerals.

Meh, me and this concealer are in a complicated relationship. I honestly do not trust it as my only concealer- just like the bareMinerals foundation, it does not cover anything. It may sort of cover light blemishes and light redness, but other than that, it will not cover anything major. I like to use Summer Bisque as a sort of finishing concealer- I use my heavy duty stuff underneath and put this on top. I find that it helps to absorb oil a little- which is really nice. The color of this concealer is great- I love the tones of bareMinerals products- this is a very neutral concealer. Also, it seems to cooperate well with foundations. It does not have good staying power- it's powder, come on! This is a pretty cheap high end concealer, for $18. Also, this product can double as a mineral foundation if you're really desperate for one. So, yeah- I don't really trust it to perform on its own very much, but it can do good stuff if you know how to work it.

This is a good concealer. It gives a soft-focus effect. Finely milled, but when I wear it, no matter what, it gives a heavily made-up effect, even if I buffed, applied very little, or sprayed Mac Fix+ on top.

I find that my Lorac Powder luminizer works better for the same purpose, though it isn't made for that. Clinique Almost Powder is my favourite for all over the face. Will not repurchase.

I have normal to dry skin, so I shouldn't have expected great results from a powder product. When I wear face makeup, it's usually just tinted moisturizer, so I was looking for a lightweight concealer to cover up broken capillaries and redness. While Summer Bisque is a good color match for my skin (NC30-35 in MAC foundation), it accentuates dry patches and makes my skin look unnatural and cake-y after one light layer. It did provide enough coverage for my problem spots, but honestly my skin looks better naked than it does with this concealer on. For those with dry skin, I'd recommend trying this product before buying.

I have both acne-prone & oily skin and I'm an NC35/40.
I got this concealer with my BE starter kit and I'm not a huge fan of it & a bit dubious after learning more about concealers/color correctors since this is a general concealer.
Acne: I've used it on my acne & it neutralizes the redness very nicely; however, the one thing I don't like about it is the coverage, which is too sheer for me. On the plus side, it does not make me break out.
Under-eye: I've also tried using it as an under-eye concealer, but after several applications, I've given up; the lack of pigment is disappointing.

I started using Summer Bisque about two months ago to camouflage my dark undereyes. It does the trick! However, SB does have a tendency to gather in my creases/wrinkles. Toward the end of the day I find myself using Q-Tips to try and even the powder out. Still on the hunt for my HG, but quite content to stick with SB until that day.

I use this to top the concealer under my eyes, to completely cover my dark circles. It does the trick, but looks kind of crease-y crepe-y by the end of the day. More coverage than you would expect from a mineral powder. They also need more shades.. summer bisque is a little light, and honey bisque is a shade or two too dark.

I have to say that I do not really care for the BE foundations because they are really sheer and not durable on oily skin. I was pleased to find this a better alternative because it covers well and it does last on my oily skin. The shade is pretty great in that it is not that yellow and it is not that beige. It is very close to my NC30 shade, except MAC's NC30 seems to be a bit yellower than my own skin. All and all, for those who have oily skin, I do not recommend BE foundations even in matte. This is a much better product. UPDATE: I have been wearing this now for a while and it has been great to my skin. When I wash it off, my skin looks glowy and incredibly soft. I have slept wearing this and nothing has happened to my skin. HG!

I had high hopes for this but it's not the concealer for me. Makes my under eye area look artificial, dry and seems to highlight wrinkles and lines that aren't there with any other product. Wish I'd either kept the receipt or thought to get a sample before purchasing. I'll try to use this up around my nose but as an under-eye product, it gives less than flattering or youthful results. Also, I think they may have changed the packaging but the one I have is useless for travel or taking in your purse to work....there is no way to seal off the holes.

I like this a lot - as long as I use an oil free moisturiser underneath, it blends in well and looks nice all day. It covers redness very well and doesn't clog my pores which other concealers always seem to do. My acne scars are still partially visible, though :/
I also wish it wasn't quite so expensive - and that's why it gets four, and not five lippies... I would still repurchase it anyways, because of how nicely it covers redness and because it's so gentle on the skin.

This one isn't yellow enough for me to use on blemishes, so I mix it with a bit of my Golden foundation to get the colour right. I use the mix to apply with a very damp small concealer brush to make a paste that I can apply on some serious situations on my face (like in cases of Dermaroller ;), wait a bit and pat it in before my BM foundation. Works like a charm!
I use the colour by itself and in its original powdery state with a bigger concealer brush (by Bdellium Tools, excellent quality) and buff under eyes and around schnose. The colour is perfect for that heavy, heavy task.
Unfortunately however I got the old packaging without me realising, so everytime I screw off the lid it's powder galore.
Like with all BM products, I found that this too takes a lot of practice and the right tools, but after that: it's aaaalllllll gooooood.

I've been using this product for 4 months and Im really happy with it. I wasnt sure of it at first as I didnt think a powder could cover up very well, but it definately does and it's buildable which I expect in a good concealer.
Make sure you wait for your moisturiser to dry though as otherwise you can end up with a clumpy, gunky look. Otherwise, overall its a great product which I will use again.

a bit small & pricey but a really good concealer. it gets the job done but avoid using too much because then you'll end up in a white mess.

I really do love Bare products, I have been using their foundation for several years and recently decided to try something else from their line. I bought Summer Bisque as an under eye concealer and truely wanted to like it. However the product settle into the fine lines under my eyes and actually made me look even more tired! This concealer was just not for me!
