This shampoo is nothing special. Smells amazing, yeah, but doesn't really do anything for your hair.

Loved this as my daily shampoo. I loved the funky blue color, the coconut sunblock-y smell, and that it gave a great lather. I guess I caught on to the trend too late because they've discontinued this. : (

This is great as a clarifying shampoo but there's no way I'd use this on my hair everyday. One of the main ingredients in this is Ammonium Lauryl Sulfate, a very harsh surfactant, which means that it's NOT suitable for daily use on coloured hair as it will fade colour. *This is why I can't award it more than 3 lippies.* However, I love to use this once a week or so to remove build-up. I pair it with Tigi's S-Factor condish and my hair is left soft and sleek. I adore the smell - it's absolutely yummy.

This might be my HG shampoo. It keeps my hair soft, doesn't seem to fade my color and the smell is divine. I love the packaging of the litre bottles and the smaller ones. I find that the smaller bottles stay closed well so they are great for travelling.

I love this shampoo! I use it every time I have used hair products in my hair the night/day before. It always leaves my hair super clean and smooth and fluffy and DELICIOUS smelling. I usually use Tigi's Control Freak conditioner after it as well - I dont know how I happened upon this combo but I love it. It restraightens and leaves my hair in such great shape to either style or just leave it in its lovely state of smooth, straight, and smellin' good. Sorry, I love this stuff!

I love this shampoo so much. It smells like the beach--like coconut and something sweet. I always get compliments on how wonderful my hair smells when I use it. The packaging is great, because the bottles come with a pump, so you don't have to turn the bottles upside down and pound out the shampoo/cond. That is always a plus in my book. Plus, with the pump lock on (by twisting and locking the pump into place), these bottles survived checked luggage airplane travel without a hitch. The shampoo is very moisturizing and thick, which takes some time to lather but it is enjoyable due to the intoxicating frangrance. Rinses clean and feels fresh. My hair stays healthy and shines beautifully with this product. Also, to comment on another user's review, boys do like to use it. My 23 yr old brother uses it all the time, forcing me to restock sooner than I'd like. He also takes my sexy Catwalk shampoo. Who knew boys like to be pampered, too?

I'm a guy.

I was looking for the perfect shampoo for years, starting with supermarket brands, ending with Loreal Proffesionel ones. I wash my hair daily and this shampoo does it for me. The smell is something to look forward to when you wake up, that is a big plus. This shampoo won't get 5/5 because when I tried it alone without the MANIPULATOR conditioner, my hair felt too fluffy to style. However, when used WITH the conditioner ... wow. Easiest styling ever.

This is lovely and mild yet moisturising on my coloured hair. Has a nice thick feel and lovely fruity frangrance. After this I will go back to a specialty product for coloured hair though as I'm not sure whether it is stripping my colour. The black lettering keeps coming of the bottle when it gets wet. Boys like to use it.

I somewhat agree with the reviewer below it did make my hair somewhat frizzy. I've been a long time user of the Self Absorbed line and although it takes a lot for the shampoo to lather it smells great and and gives my hair volume and shine. But I don't this shampoo is bad at all, it really lathers and my hair feels really clean afterwards and it smells great too. But I still prefer the Self Absorbed line.

I hate to break the winning streak but I really did not like this shampoo, I am very glad I got it 50% off. It made my hair feel like straw and combined with the conditioner (which I also was not impressed with) my hair was more frizzy than usual.

Love this shampoo! I have used it for 10 days straight which is unusal for me.I typically rotate products like crazy! But I have been getting such great results I don't want to risk my good hair day record. I use the conditioner as well and they give my hair fantastic body and texture. I have shoulder length fine straight hair and I'm obsessed with trying to get as much volume and oomph as possible. This seems to do the trick. Smells great too!

It does what it claims, removes build-up and makes hair squiky clean. It doesn't strip color and it lathers and smells great, and can be used everyday. I would have loved it, if it wasn't breaking my skin out. I have experienced that with different shampoos before but I haven't been able to figure out exactly which ingredient that are causing the break-outs, and with this shampoo I'm talking the biggest and most painful bumps and pimples I've ever had. I know it is the 'poo because if I stop using it, the break-outs are clearing up. That's too bad, because I love the tropical scent and the happy turqoise color, and I purchased a litre of it because of the happiness it promised me.
Two lippies off just because of the pain it causes instead, and a promise to myself: Use the 'poo, but not on an everyday basis. Once or twice a week is hopefully ok. UPDATE: The breakouts are almost gone, and I use it at least 3 times a week - it makes my hair and head so clean, and I'm happy that it removes build up. Upgrading it one lippie.

A good shampoo, with a really strong smell! This lathers so well and cleanses incredibly well. The blue colour is just yummy, yummy, yummy! Maybe this would strip colour from your hair, however it doesn't feel harsh. Overall this is a great shampoo.

I love this stuff! I decided to buy this in a set with the conditioner based on the reviews on here, and when I was told by a salon professional that this would thicken my thin fine hair. Anyhow, I've used this once already and it does thicken just like she said it would. I love the tropical fruit smell, the pearly blue color, and the pump packaging is attractive. I won't be able to tell whether or not it builds up because I'll be alternating this with my Bed Head Multi-Vitamin and Catwalk Oatmeal & Honey shampoo/contioners and other brands I have. I love TIGI products now. It's such a fun line that definitely works for me. I can't wait to try other things in this line.

This is the best-smelling shampoo I've ever tried. It smells good enough to eat! Unfortunately, it makes my hair look dull and frizzy. I ended up throwing it away. I kept the matching conditioner, though, because that stuff is awesome!

I got this for free when a customer returned it with a broken lid, not uncommon for Tigi packaging. I really wanted to hate it, because I am so biased against Bed Head shampoos and conditioners; most of them really suck and are kind of bad for your hair, but whatever. I used it with Control Freak shampoo, and lo and behold I actually kind of liked it. The smell is absolutely divine, and when I leave it on my hair for about a minute, my hair feels really soft and conditioned. Not a miracle product by a long shot, but my favorite Bed Head conditioner thus far.

I bought this as a two-pack along with the conditioner for $20. They are both large pump-style bottles so I would say it's a really good deal. They smell wonderful (pina colada but more pineapple than coconut) and the shampoo is mild enough so as not to strip but still cleans great. I always seem to have a good hair day now that I've switched over to this shampoo/conditioner combo.

This is a seasonal product, if not I hardly get a chance to buy this anywhere. This works exactly like Tigi's Dumb Blonde, with minor changes such as the color and scent. The shampoo has a rich lather, and cleans hair without stripping it. It is a pearlescent light blue color, and it smells something like Joico's Kpak, and pineapples. I would prefer this over my Dumb Blonde, because the smell, it is so divine! I will stock up if I see this somewhere.

I was searching for a daily shampoo when I came across this gem. I have never seen it before in the stores but I instantly knew I would like this shampoo becasue I am obsessed with the smell of the Manipulator styling puddy stuff. If you don't know what it smells like imagine this: part coconutty, part sugar cane, part pineapple. Yes, pretty much a pina colado but better. I used it the first night and I loved how the color of this stuff was a great thick blue. I applied a little more than a quarter sized amount for my longer hair, rubbed it between my palms to distribute evenly, and started to work on my scalp. It lathered up so nicely and the smell just filled my bathroom. I could tell my hair was clean and it didn't feel stripped. Infact, my hair felt quite sleek after. I love this. If you want to hold on to that last bit of summer, get this, it smells AMAZING.
