I absolutely love this product!!! I have a warm skin tone so tinted mineral veil works better for me than the non-tinted kind. This product gives me a nice, fresh, air-brushed look. I love that it's micro-milled so it gives my skin a refined, matte finish. Loooove that it's not sparkly! I noticed that most haters of this product on MUA are light/fair skinned. You should only use tinted mineral veil if you have a warm skin tone. If you are light/fair-skinned and already know what foundation and powder shades work for you, it should take you only a second to look at this product and KNOW that this won't work for you so don't buy it and stick to the non-tinted kind. Price-wise it's not so bad and I find that a little goes a long way and a container lasts me nearly 6 months. I'm glad that Sephora now has the XL size BUT sad that the XL in tinted is only available for a limited time. I'm glad that Bare Minerals finally updated the dispenser. The swivel stopper isn't 100% leak-proof but it definitely is way better than the old shaker top. I know that I will keep using this product for many years to come!

Let me start off by saying I love Bare Escentuals. I love all the other mineral veil EXCEPT for this one.
It has such an...awkward tone to it.
I'm about an NC15/ Revlon CS 150 Buff, this stuff is horribly dark for my skin tone. Plus it has a lovely "orange" tint which make me look like and oompa-loompa the moment I got out into natural light. I bought It online which was a mistake. I recommend definitely going into Ulta or Sephora and testing it out or getting a sample first to see if it will blend in properly.
So I have been diluting it with the whitest loose powder I have in order to finish it. But after that, I'm going back to regular mineral veil.

I love this product... only in the winter! I get a heavy tan during the summer so this kinda makes me ashy but other than that i like the packaging because unlike the foundation from this brand, the inner cap is kinda deeper with helps ALOT for keeping the product in the cap!

I love how this is the perfect touch up powder... I try to keep it on me at all times.. if I have any spots that need touched up because of sweat.. and looks oily this is the trick.. I really appreciate that now it is in tinted!!!

Waste of money...far better with non-colored mineral veil. Does make pores disappear and skin appear clearer, but turned funky oarnge on my skin....and continued to get "oarngier" as the day went on. Nothing beats its staying power...but in my case...that too was unfortunate. Physicians Formula dollar for dollar had far better quality with their airbrushed non-talc airbrushed mineral compact powder...and no mess too! Would not buy bare escentuals again...as a matter of fact the regular mineral powder looked chalky too...and I was matched by a cosmetic consultant. Not for me!

I went in looking for something to sweep over my liquid foundation to get an airbrushed look. The girl suggested the mineral veil and told me to get the tinted so that I didn't look "too white." Big mistake. I tried it the next day and my whole face looked sunburned! Bright orange, red face. Yuck. I returned it the next day. Don't get the tinted color unless your skin is naturally pretty dark.

This product is okay, it goes nicely over my foundation and adds some warmth to my face so long as I use lightly. If I accidentally overdo it this can easily make me orangey. =/ Major points off for the package, not sure if I got a defective one but it leeks powder beyond the sifter portion like crazy so I have to keep this one out of makeup bag for fear of creating a mess.

I buy this product all the time on eBay and really like it. However, the packaging could be improved. It's hard to get the powder out. But once it's out I love the way it looks on my face.

This is wonderful. It smooths my complexion, softens the look of the fine lines around my eyes & keeps oil at bay most of the day...no shine! I don't like to wear make up on my face. I'm 43 so less is more. Primer & the mineral veil are all I need. It feels more natural & just looks better. Wouldn't change a thing! :)

I don't know when BE changed their packaging, but I am so glad they did. Finally, a stop top.
I first used BE tinted MV by total accident. I thought I was using Faux Tan, and I was mad because it wasn't showing up as much as I wanted it to. I figured I'd try it all over my face, and I love the results! It warms up my complexion so well! And it doesn't change the color of my shin. I am totally surprised by this product, I usually hate mineral makeup. But I am 100% satisfied with my tinted MV. Yay!

Gives my foundation a nice smooth finish. I have light skin so I use a light hand with this or else it would look too muddy. This came in my moxie kit so I can't comment on individual price. But I'm not too sure I would repurchase this on its own. Ill have to update later...

Pro: Amazing at giving foundation a slightly airbrushed looked. Also a nice alternative finishing powder for those that need a bit of color

Con: Causes breakouts for me.

At first i did like this product, it made my face flawless looking and i loved how softy and silky smooth it felt. However, this was my first time actually using a finishing powder! And since i am already a BE foundation lover I thought that I would like this product! I started to notice that this Mineral Veil changed the color of my foundation completely and made my skin look a strange color! Maybe I should try using a non-tinted setting powder next time!

I bought the moxie girl kit and this came in it. I have very fair skin and gives my skin a nice glow. However, my sensetive skin doesnt like it. It made me break out and gave me some red irritated spots. I only used the product for 3 days :/ im going to give this away to a friend. Too bad.. I really liked how it looked on my skin. It looked nice as a finishing powder for my clinique foundation.

I am a huge fan of the OMV. And this product is very close to that one. It gives you a little color. Great for days when you are in a rush and really don't want to wear foundation but do want to control the shine and give yourself a little boost. Feels light and easy to use. I did however notice that on my oily skin after awhle it can turn orange a little.

I used this on top of my BE foundation only when I was going to need to wear my make-up for a long time. Unfortunately, I would get acne cysts after using it so... bye bye! A very strange occurrence esp since it's supposed to be made only of corn starch?

I got this in one of their collections and it's been sitting unused in my makeup box for awhile. I'm fair, with foundation and no blush I look like a zombie, and if I use this all over, it makes me look like an oompa-loompa. However, it's great for a bronzer/blush! I used to mix warmth with mineral veil, because warmth by itself is too dark for me, and basically tinted mineral veil is the same thing. Would I buy this again and pay BE to mix the two for me? Hell no. I keep forgetting I have it, as I've been using more pink and rose tones through the winter for blush, so maybe in the spring and summer I'll try it again. I've been biking a lot, which one would think would give me a tan so I could use this, but between 45 SPF and my tendancy to go from white to red and back to white, this is just never going to work for me for all over color.

I decided to try the tinted mineral veil because the original lightens my foundation a bit. This didn't make my foundation darker, because I am pretty tan, but it gave a slight reddish tint to my skin. My face and neck matched but the red tint bothered me. I'll keep this product around for nights out when I want my face to have more color, but for everyday I will stick to the original mineral veil.
