I bought the NYX jumbo pencil in the color milk because of all the rave reviews that I watched YouTube. I do like this and it is great as a base color when you apply eyeshadow but I also like it for something else. I was watched a video for JlovesMac on YouTube and it was a video for a nude lip and she showed a lip care routine as well as using lip liner and NYX milk as a way to pale out your lips . I used it this morning for that. It is inexpensive and I think I will get these jumbo pencils in other colors . I love the versatility of this product and it is actually helping my lip color last . I just lined and filled in my lips with a JOrdana easy lip liner n a purple mauve color I could not find my lip glos and I though the color was too dark so I used the NYX milk to pale it out and I really like it. It gives your lips a matte look . I think this is great to have. I wish NYX would come out with a jumbo pencil set . I will check if they have one.

I love how this is so versatile! I use it as a base for my eyeshadows and I noticed it makes the light-nude colors really pop. I mostly use it to line my waterline it glides on so creamy and stays put all day. You just have to be careful when applying it. I sometimes accidentally get some product on my lower lashes and its impossible to remove. Another thing about this is that it’s amazing for HALLOWEEN MAKEUP. I used it all over my husband’s face when he dressed up as a vampire. Love it

The reputation of this super affordable pencil is well deserved. LOVE IT. Creamy but lasting, smooth on application, and instantly brightening...YAY! Using this as a base for eyeshadows makes them vivid, the colors really pop. Great for carving out brows, especially for PPP gals like me. Good on the waterline. Or the cupid's bow, or cheekbones. Crazy versatile - you can use it to highlight tons of stuff, anything really. Totally a staple. So cheap.

Such an essential. I use this in so many ways: highlighting inner corners, nose bridge, cheekbones, cupid's bow; priming; eyeshadow base. Pigmentation is good, and this could be used in almost any way you could think of. The formula is smooth and creamy. Only possible negative is it transfers easily.

This has a lot of high reviews, but I have to say, if you don't have pale skin, this may look terrible. (I think a lot of people on MUA are dis-proportionally fair-skinned people?) It looks terrible on me. Even as a base, wayyy too light. Keep that in mind. I'm about an NC30, for reference.

This is one of my HG products! Granted, I don't use it as most reviewers seem to be using it.

After I tried a NYX pencil eyeliner in white for my waterline, I grew tired of it quickly because it never stayed sharp, the cap always fell off, and for some reason, if I didn't apply it at the perfect angle the paper around the pencil felt like it was stabbing me.

So, I decided that perhaps the jumbo eye pencil would be less painful to apply. To avoid wrinkles, I just push on the under eye area, not pulling it down, and lean forward to apply it very carefully as to not get it on my lower lashes. It looks great and stays on like a dream! Even if my eyes are watery it doesn't budge.

After reading tons of recommendations for this as an eyeshadow base that makes your eyeshadows pop, I caved in and got it. These don't skimp on pigmentation, but that's about it. It is not smooth and I feel like my lids are being dragged like Meek Miller after he accused Drake of not writing his own raps. It is also very tacky, which is supposed to be a good thing because it means that eyeshadows will stick to it but it just feels very awkward on my lids! It's just sort of sitting on top of the skin, if you know what I mean.

I bought this thinking I could use this as a base for my eyeshadows to make them brighter and last longer. Yeah, no. A lot of my shadows (high end and drugstore) will not adhere to it, so it just looks like I have straight up white on my lids with a bit of sparkle. On top of that, it fades away quickly, so I can't use it as a brow bone highlight or an inner corner highlight. Plus, regardless of whether I use a primer below it or not, this ends up creasing on my oily lids, making it not even worth the effort of applying. My cap is also busted and cracked, pretty much from the get go too. I much prefer the Milani shadow eyez pencils, which work well on their own and as bases.

Perfect for multiple uses: As a shadow base, highlighter and mixing with other products. The consistency is creamy and easy to blend. It does not bleed or transfer very easily. Packaging is simplistic and fresh. Does last a long time.
