i am a NC30 and C4, i bought this in N4 for the winter and a W5 for the summer. for $10 bucks this product is worth it, after all they make Lancome and the products are pretty good.

My go-to powder. Good coverage to wear as a foundation. Comes with a sponge and mirror. Light enough for my super pale skin. Ok with oil control.

This is an okay product. The powder doesn't break me out but the lasting power is not the best and it clings to dry patches on my skin. I got it for $10, which is okay. The packaging is decent, and comes with a mirror and an applicator. I don't think the applicator distributes the product evenly though. Overall its an okay pressed powder that I am settling with for now for touch ups but I would definitely try something else if I see a better one on sale.

I was looking for a powder for light coverage, as I don't wear foundation everyday. I choose this based on the reviews. I have dry, fair to medium skin tone. As for most of us, I was concerned about choosing the right shade, I brought my foundation to Walgreens as a reference, great idea, as Lancôme also owns L'Oreal, so colors are very similar. I, too use this powder after moisturizing, using a dome brush & swirl, shake & use circular motions on my face. Love the finished result, just enough for evening out my skin, with a hint of color. Sometimes I do use a spritz of mineral water. Does not settle into lines or wrinkles. Will buy again!

Not the worst ive tried, it doesn't have much oil control, not much coverage, has tiny glitters in it, and oxidises. i am an NC20 and wear W2.

I loved the finish of this product over my foundation, but the lightest shade is just too dark for me. It turned me a funny shade of oxodized orange. I wish True Match came in lighter, super pale, shades.

It works for me. I buy the third one already and it is still the best of all i had before. Even better than Estee Lauder.

None of the colors looked right on my skin, the paler ones made me look ghostly and any darker made me orange :( I suppose it looked alright when I first applied it, but after a couple of hours, probably because I have combination skin, it began to form orange patches where my skin was most oily. I have applied this foundation to other people who have a drier skin and they looked fine, but I wouldnt reccomend it for people who have oily/combination skin.

I LOVE this powder! I have been using it for YEARS! I work at a major beauty distributor as a consultant, and have access to tons of high-end powders, and this is by far my favorite. The only thing that drives me nuts is that the power is transferable. If I hug my BF it always seems to get on his shoulder, but besides that, this powder looks great on the skin, not chalky, blends in like a dream. I am the shade W2- and a Mac NC20-25. I get the warm shade and to me its nuetral, the cool is too pink and the neutral is ok. This one matches me perfect even though I have pink undertones. The only thing I have noticed recently is target stopped carrying W1 & W2, don't worry, they still make it, get it from Walmart!

Yuck. If you like looking like you have a pancake pasted onto your face, you mike like this.
I've tried this with several sponges and brushes, perfectly moisturized and primed, and it always looks bad.
The only positive thing is that the color does truly match.

UPDATE: Yeaah, it broke me out :( knocking off a lippie for that~
*********
Overall Rating: 5/5
SKIN BACKGROUND: Oily, acne prone, SUPER sensitive, mild scarring and discoloration, NW20-25ish.
PRICE: $10-12 US Dollars
COVERAGE: I use this as a setting powder for my foundation, and I feel it adds an additional light layer of coverage. I have not yet worn it alone, but I definitely think it would make a great light-coverage foundation too!
FINISH: Soft-powder finish. I honestly look like a porcelain doll when I wear this.
TEXTURE: Soft and blendable, as the product claims to be
SCENT: Nope
SPF: None
LASTING POWER: This doesn't exactly keep my skin super matte, I do find I have to retouch every 2 hours or so, but I never get super shiney or anything. So I would say it stays on my face for 5 hours if I don't touch up.
SHADES: The L'Oreal True Match line comes with many shades, with 3 different undertones: warm, neutral, and cool. I got mine in Warm 2, which is a little pale for me, but I think the next shade W3 will match me fine.
DID THIS BREAK ME OUT?: I am not quite sure... I did get a few bumps on my forehead after wearing this, but my skin has been temperamental lately, so I don't think this was the culprit.
PACKAGING: Its a compact. On the top is the powder, then there is a mirror and sponge compartment on the bottom. I actually did not even realize there was a bottom compartment untill a few months after I bought it.... *facepalm*.
WOULD I REPURCHASE?: Yes
FINAL VERDICT: I really like this. I think I might try wearing it as a foundation, or maybe over a TM or BB cream. Great little powder! Definitely exceeded my expectations.

I found this to actually not control my oil as good as I thought it would. I hadn't even left the house, and my nose was already oily!! DISGUSTINGLY oily, and my skin usually isn't that terrible!
It also oxidized orange on my skin, making me look just like Snooki. It caked, it settled, it looked very noticeable on my pores, and I hate it.
The packaging is fine, I actually really liked the packaging, but the powder itself is terrible. I don't want to touch up every few seconds, and I DO NOT want to look like someone blew Cheetos dust all over my face.

For reference: nc30, warm
I've been using this powder to contour my face. I wear w3-4 in the loreal true Match line. I originally picked up neutral 6 (n6) to contour. I figured the w line would be too orangey and the c line would be too dirty/red looking. N6 barely showed up on my skintone as a contouring shade so I exchanged it for n7.
I love it! Color isn't too muddy nor too orange. I contour my cheekbones and nose with n7. Formula is super silky and pigmented. Another plus is that this product doesn't make me break out. I contour with a mac 109 brush. Def would repurchase!
Edit (2/27/13): I am now a nc20-25 and I still use n7 to contour/bronze during the day. I've also been loving n8 (cappuccino) for heavier contour at night.

This is a pretty good setting powder for the price. Definitely NOT a powder foundation as this offers no coverage. Lots of shades...I believe I had the W6. Comparable to MAC Select Sheer powder. I switched back to Studio Fix though, because I like the coverage better and also lasts longer than this. This works better in the winter, as it really doesn't control oil at all. I wouldn't recommend this to anyone with oily skin. However, if I was low on cash, I would repurchase.

I don't use liquid foundation so Im always looking for a good powder. I ran out of my jane ireadle powder (hands down best ever) i just can't afford it right now its so ridiculously over priced. anyway I got this in w2. The coverage is light. I prefer a little more building capability. but still it looks nice on my skin looks very natural which I do like. I'm very acne prone though so if I get a crazy break out ill have to find something with more coverage.

I have this in W2 and I didn't like the finish of it. It was very sheer and cakey. So I decided to give it another chance and I got this in N7 and use it as a bronzer/ contour powder and it works great!

I just bought this in C8 Cocoa and love it. My skin is chocolate and based on how it looked in the packaging, I thought this would look ashy because it doesn't have any reddish in it but I was suprised it didn't. My only complaint is the cheap looking packaging...pulling this compact out in front of others wouldn't be my proudest moment..lol. Also for the darker skin ladies, there are shades even deeper than Cocoa but you have to order them online. The compact is weird because the mirror is on the flip side of the compact.
UPDATE--- if you use the C8 Cocoa, you may have better luck using a brush to apply it. I made the mistake of touching up my face with the sponge it came with and it made my face that odd gray, army green color. I wish this powder had just a touch of reddish to it to pick up on red undertones a lot of dark skinned women have.
2nd UPDATE--- so after using the C8 Cocoa a few more times, I was not happy with the color match with my cocoa colored skin with reddish undertones so I returned it. I noticed on Drugstore.com, they sell some new, darker shades so I ordered Mahagony, Deep Warm, and Deep Cool that aren't sold in stores. All 3 look pretty much identical as C8 Cocoa. They look whitish on my dark skin. I imagine if I were desperate for powder, I could really blend them in and make it work but I choose not to so I will return them which is a pity because I love the texture of this powder but their color match for chocolate colored skin needs improvement.
