Wow~ I really hate to be the lonely voice of dissent here, but I think this eyeshadow is horrible! I have tried it so many times & in so many ways to give it every possible chance to impress me, and it has failed at every attempt. I finally surrender! I saw the stellar reviews here, and it is hard for me to believe that we are all "talking" about the same cheap eyeshadow. I guess everyone's needs are different when it comes to eyeshadow, but I like mine to be opaque and pigmented, and I'd prefer *not* having to wet my brush before patting the shadow on my lids in order to get the color to show up. This Ben Nye Lumiere Iced Gold shadow is way too sheer for me. The off-white color I see in the pan does not show up on my lids no matter how much I pack it on. (Actually, it starts to look worse after packing.) All that comes up on me is a fine, sheer, golden glitter. (And, yes, I use an eyeshadow base.) I guess if all you are looking for is a sheer, fine, golden glitter... then this would be right up your alley. But I was misled by the review down below that compares this to the quality of MAC eyeshadows, and to MAC Vanilla Pigment... because this is in NO WAY comparable to even my "worst" MAC eyeshadow. And- this is NOTHING like Vanilla Pigment- at least not on MY eyes. If Vanilla pigment was this horrible, it wouldn't be as popular as it is... trust me.

This is such a gorgeous highlight color. I'm cool toned PPP, so the word "gold" can scare me, and the word "iced" also scares me sometimes when it comes to makeup. I like shimmer, but too much just isn't cute. This powder is nothing to fear. I have used it several times as a light wash of base color. It gives that nice glow, with no visible particles of micas and such. It reminds me a bit of MAC Vanilla pigment, but not as shiny. It is also perfect for the inner corners of the eyes, and cheek highlight. Blends like a dream. I think it would suit anyone's coloring. It's a huge shadow pan. I paid $6 dollars for it, and there are palettes these can fit in. So much better than MAC shadow, which I own 52 of and I adore, but if I had discovered Ben Nye a bit earlier in life, I might not have so much MAC.

Beautiful light bright golden colour - very metallic - very intense. It can be used also as an all over shimmer for warmer skin tones. extremely beautiful in my opinion - just look at the pic I uploaded for you beautiful girls :)

I love this color. It is a white gold color that looks good on any skintone. I use this as an all over wash, eyebone highlighter and face highlighter when used with my skunk brush. The shadow is huge, almost twice the size of MAC, is super pigmented and easily blendable.
It's only $9 and worth every penny. Highly recommended.

The first reviewer hit the nail on the head when they described this as the perfect highlighter, which it most certainly is. Iced Gold is a perfectly light creamy champagne color that gives just the right amount of shimmer without making the skin look greasy. I use the pressed powder version for the face, but I like mixing the loose powder version with an unscented baby oil to give my body a nice all-over glow.
Please, pick this up if you find it!
