This was the first Clinique lipstick that I ever purchased... and I purchased it two years ago... and since I've gone through a couple of tubes.... its the best lipstick ever!
Age: 19-24 Skin: Very Dry Hair: Brunette Eyes: Brown
Got this as a GWP and thought I wouldn't wear it much since I don't go for brown lipsticks. WAS I WRONG! Doesn't feel like a lipstick at all and it doesn't look brown. It is a gorgeous bronze-y color with coppery shimmer. LOVE this lipstick in the summer with a tan. Will definitely buy this once I run out of it! Feels like lip balm in a tube!
Age: 25-29 Skin: Combination, Fair-Medium Hair: Brunette Eyes: Green
I received it as a GWP; wasn't too excited when I looked at the colour. But when I applied it, I understood I misjudged it! Better than a gloss, moisturizing, good color pay-off for a sheer lipstick. You don't need to be precise when applying it. It is THE lipstick you can apply without a mirror (= the must-have in your bag). Beautiful lustre bronze (not brown!)with subtle sparkles, great on its own, or layered on long-lasting lipcolor or any matte lipstick.
I personnaly use it over Max Factor Everlasting in Enduring 040 (pink).
The only con is THE PRICE. Despite being a great colour, I'm sure I can find much cheaper.

A lipstick that doesn't feel like one! It feels like a lipbalm in a lipstick container. :) This color is very natural...perfect for daytime wear/work. Has just the perfect amount of shine w/o screaming..I'm going clubbing! :P It also leaves my lips soft after the l/s is long gone. WINNER!

I love the Bare Brillance lipsticks! I dont need to use lip liner with them and they are so sheer and dont look heavy or too glossy like many lipsticks and lipglosses looks. I love the glitter. It makes my lips look great and still not too glossy and sloppy. Bronze star looks ugly brown on the tube but gives you the perfect nude lip look. I am PPP with cool undertones. And I am in Love. These are perfect for me because I am more of an eye shadow freak and thats why I really never come around using too heavy color on my lips. I hate lipgloss and lipsticks always make me look too made up with my heavy eye shadow looks.

The packaging is very modern, looks like ridged iron, very nice. The lipstick is beautiful! I was dissappointed when I saw I hadn't noticed the 'sheer' part and it was way sheerer than I thought it would be. So I gave it to my mother. But I tried it on and saw it WAS nice, even though not what I had went for in the first place. My mother gave it back to me and I love it! It moisturizes my lips and doesn't feather at all! Lasts long too. What on earth was I thinking giving this away? I love this lippie!

I generally don't care much for the Clinique line, but this ahade pleasantly surprised me. When applied, it's a beautiful shimmery nude and not at all as bronze as the name or swatch implies. This shade is wonerful for warm skin tones, especially in the summer months. While it only has average lasting power, it is very moisturizing.

Clinique makes great lipsticks. I tend toward warm colors and sheer tones but did not care for bronze star. It is a very sheer bronze with lots of coppery shimmer. On me, the shimmer is too much. I am giving it high marks because it is moisturizing and long lasting on me.

A warm, bronzey nude, this shade is perfect for that just-got-back-from-Tahiti look. It would look stunning with Guerlain Terracotta bronzer and just a swipe of mascara. The Bare Brilliance line, I find, isn't as drying as other lipstick, but staying power is fairly short, unless wearing a liner beneath, which to me, defeats the purpose of these. Not really my usual color (I prefer shades with some pink to offer my lips more pigmentation), but it's still a lovely shade.

I love the Clinique lipsticks. They have no scent, are very moisturizing, alot of great nuetral shades, always getting some in GWP's, and decently priced. Bronze Star is a very sheer bronze. Very light and almost not noticeable but you feel the moisture and see shimmer. Pretty but not so good for pigmented lips.

This is a perfect slightly shimmery nude for me. I used it all summer almost every day. Only downside is that this shade doesn't work for me in the winter.

I would've given this five l/s but Bronzes aren't typically my favorite l/s color, keeping it from HG status. I love the CSBB l/s because they're smooth and moisturizing but still v. sheer and natural-looking. Doesn't scream "I'M WEARING LIPSTICK!" Bronze Star is a pretty sheer, glimmering golden-caramel color. It's so hard for me to wear these type of colors w/o looking like I've been playing in mud but this works. My lips stand out just enough w/ this and you could still see my lips thru it. Yes you do have to re-apply these more so than creamier l/s but I don't mind. I luv this whole line, just wish Clinique would add more colors. Another pretty one is Blushing Coral.

I got this as a GWP and love it. It is a nude with shimmer--not overly bronze. I love the way it feels on my lips (I don't wear l/s very often, but I can tolerate this one).

I got a mini one of these in a holiday set and I rather like it. This is a very sheer, slightly warm bronzey nude. Good for Ultra natural makeup days or smokey eye makeup. I may purchase a full size when I use up my mini.
