Great mascara, one my favourites. Would buy again if it wasn't so expensive. Lasts all day and doesn't smudge. But just stay away from any water, because the slightest contact with water makes this mascara slips right off your lashes. But otherwise it's a GREAT mascara.

Its very black, so it gets a star.
Doesn't clump, but it does flake all over your face.
Doesn't build up or lengthen, and the formula is quite dry.
All in all, I was very disappointed. I was expecting so much more.
I'll stick to Benefit's Bad Gal Lash in future

It's mascara. Nothing particularly special. It does what it's supposed to, but honestly no better than the average drugstore mascara. It doesn't clump and it stays put. In all, though, I don't think I'll be re-purchasing. For twice the cost of drugstore mascara, I expect a little more.

I have straight medium length oriental/asian lashes, which are permed using the LVL system (Which is AMAZING, btw). This mascara was quite dry when it came out of the tube. It took a while to get used to, but it did mean it didn't smudge as much. It had good staying power and didn't flake or run. I bought it as a volumising mascara and from other reviews it sounded like it would layer well. I managed to put 1 & half layers on before it started looking a little spidery. I started using this on top of the Dior Maximise Primer/Serum and to be honest there wasn't much difference with or without the serum. For the price it isn't a bad mascara, but I think I had high expectations of it.

This is a really good mascara. It really POPPED my eyes after I put it on. IT makes the lashes long and a little on the thick side. I was quite surprised that this produces such a lovely set of eye lashes for me.

This is an excellent mascara for daily wear. It volumizes and lengthens without clumping, separates my lashes, and never smudges or flakes! I especially like how my lashes remain soft and fluttery after applying this mascara (not stiff / crispy). Removal is easy and mess-free (I use an oil-based makeup remover).

This is a wonderful mascara, but not as good as YSL Faux Cils. It gives great volume, lasts all day, is not too expensive and gives decent length as well. I found the tube lasted me forever, so long that I had to throw it out because I knew the 6 month mark was past and it started to turn on me. So it didn't dry out at all. Overall a wonderful volumizing mascara.

Nice mascara! I like it way more than BadGal. It's the most buildable mascara I've used. Only complaint is that if your eyes water a bit, it's off!
EDIT: I don't normally curl my lashes, but this mascara really doesn't hold any curl.

I've been using this for a couple of days now and am very impressed. It was only by chance I tried this as I usually wouldn't really think much of E.Arden products or try them, not that there's any reason for it, just not one I'd think to try. Got chatting to the EA lady on the counter, was complaining about the money I'd just spent on L'Oreal Volume Million Lashes Extra Black and how awfully flakey it was (so don't try that one) and she gave me a full bottle of this to try free! I was totally shocked and what a pleasant surprise this product turned out to be. I tried L'Oreal, as I said, as was getting a bit annoyed at my loyal Maxfactor 2000 Calorie flaking every second of the day but L'Oreal was worse on a different scale. Now to the pros of this mascara. It has good staying power and after a long day still looks the same as I applied it. It gives good volume and length, not like false dramatic (as much as I would like) but I think I could layer a few times to achieve that. I have the odd flake but nothing major so it's great in that department. The formula is quite dry which I think for me I prefer when looking for volume as it's easier to build without clumping. This mascara doesn't clump, the price is ok and you do get quite a lot of product for your money, not like some Maybelline/L'Oreal mascaras that only offer 6.5/7ml for a full tube. Doesn't give spider lashes, holds curl well and doesn't dry to a crunchy hard feel, they still feel soft and flexi. When I apply this on my lower lash I have found a very small amount of smudging towards the end of the day but will stress I have only skin and long eyelashes so every mascara I've tried tends to do that. This is TOTALLY worth a try if you're thinking about it, it's a great all-rounder and perfect day mascara for me.

This is a beautiful mascara. It never clumps, doesn't smudge or flake and separates my lashes wonderfully. It does lengthen them a lot, however, I wish it did a little more for volume. It thickens them, especially with multiple coats but I have such high standards - I always want thicker!!! The price is really really good, and overall I am thrilled with this mascara.
I have previously been using Covergirl lash blast which I still think is great but have had issues with it flaking and my lashes losing curl throughout the day. E.A mascara is cheaper than what I pay for the Covergirl and it doesn't flake and holds the lashes in a curl really nicely.
My lashes don't look fake and spidery, but rather lush and long in a naturally defined way that stands out. Love it! Definitely would recommend.

I bought this because it was on sale (16$/ 11 euro), never would have bought it for the original price. Anyway, it's really good. It makes my lashes looooong, and it's not to wet. It stays on all day. The only thing i don't like it's that it is not very "black". I get a lot more color from the loreal volumnious one. But, definitely one of the best mascaras i've tried!

I have Asian lashes, they're okay length & volume, but the lashes themselves are fine/thin. Tried YSL Faux cils & Lancome Hypnose, but both formulas were too wet and/or the brushes didn't provide the result I wanted (my fine lashes didn't 'clump' per say, but it wasn't as volumizing as I had hoped).
Picked up this EA mascara after seeing the good reviews here & wasn't disappointed! Created natural volumized, fluttery lashes in 1 or 2 coats, but can definitely build up for more dramatic lashes (I don't let drying between coats). Held a curl quite well & I haven't experienced any clumps or flaking yet.
It should be noted that I didn't use the EA mascara right away after opening, maybe a couple weeks later, so that may have played a part in the results. Also, I'm not sure how long it will last before it dries out since I'm still using it. It was a little over $20 CAD at Shoppers Drugmart & I would most likely repurchase.

Let me begin by saying I've gotten 2 of my friends hooked on this mascara!
I found it cheap while looking for a new mascara, looked up reviews and found it was highly recommended. So I bought it!
My mum swears by Elizabeth Arden so I had high hopes...luckily I wasn't disappointed!
It separates, volumises, lengthens - everything you want a mascara to do!
Maybe the packaging could be a bit more flashy considering that full price this is 18 pounds but it's elegant enough.
best mascara i have tried!

I've been a dedicated wearer of Clinique mascaras but thought I would give this a go (as I found it at a discounted price). Pleasantly surprised at the results. The regular looking application brush never clumps and the product was always applied evenly. Definitely lengthened my lashes too! The only bad side is it doesn’t hold the curl for very long. Besides that, I’m pretty happy with the results.
Update: It's been a month and I'm still really enjoying this mascara. I've noticed my eyelashes don't feel, for a lack of a better word, 'crunchy' when I'm wearing it. They feel silky and soft - exactly how they would feel if I wasn't wearing any mascara.
Update: I purchased another bottle while holidaying in the US. I noticed the formula felt different to the ones I get in Australia. My US mascara flakes and smudges where as my AU ones don't at all. Maybe I bought one with a botched formula??

I'm changing my review completely because the more I use this the more I really like it. I just discovered that for whatever reason I need to put it on before my liner. It goes on smooth and you can keep it simple and natural but with length, or you can build it up more for a bit more boldness. I like Majolica Majorca Lash Expander Frame Plus WAY more though, so I will not be buying this again. It doesn't hold a curl the tiniest bit and it clumps if you use too much. Too expensive for what it is.

I don't think I've ever given a mascara 5 lippies before. I beleive it may be the best mascara overall that I've ever tried..! It definitly gives the illusion of giving you more lashes than you have and lengthens as much as it thickens and doesn't clump up like other mascars if you wanna go big and do like 3 coats. Works great with a lash spoolie ad doesn't dry immedietly so you have some time to work with it. I was cool with MAC Plush Lash but I think I don't mind spending 8$ more. Lashes look more polished and seperated than with Plush Lash. My mom keeps trying to steal it..I allow it for some reason. But I should probably buy her her own..I should get 5 lippies for being a good daughter. lol......But ya..good stuff, worth 20$, happy happy joy joy :-D
