I bought this because the sales lady promised it wouldn't dry out my skin...wrongg. Even with moisturizer my skin was dried out and gross.

This isn't anything more spectacular than drug store acne products (it's just 2% sal. acid), and actually worse considering the price. I heart pumps, but this foamy thing was not working for me at all. I felt like I had to use so much to get a good clean. Thank god for benefit's awesome return policy or this would have been $18 (maybe $22?) down the drain.

I feel as if this product falls into that category of cute packaging, weak results (not unlike lots of Benefit's other products). I was given this cleanser as a sample and hate the foamy consistency it has...not to mention it completely dried out my skin. I tend to doubt it's beneficial in any way, except for the fact that it looks cute in your bathroom.

I don't really use pump activated foaming cleansers as I've used some in the past and they have left my face feeling tight afterwards. But I was very pleasantly surprised by this product. Its very creamy and feels nice on the skin. It doesn't burn or sting around my eye area (although because of the saly acid in it, I would NOT use it or recommend to use it to scrub off eye makeup). I didn't notice an unpleasant scent as some other reviewers mentioned. The price is reasonable and there is a 2% saly acid in it which should be enough to maintain a relatively clear face. If you are severely acne prone, this product by itself or ANY acne face wash alone is not going to cure your acne problems.

This did not leave my face feeling tight at all but I did notice I sure did have to splash my face a lot with water to rinse it all off (maybe in my enthusiasm I was using more than I needed). I would rate this product favorably!

This is a great cleanser for acne-prone skin. It is great for my sensitive, oily/combination skin and it keeps my skin CLEAR!! It smells slightly medicinal but at least they don't use irritating fragrance. Will definitely repurchase. Much love to my friend Megan for recommending this product to me!

i bought this cleanser as a substitute for my DDF 2% salycilic wash, just to mix things up a bit and also because it's cheaper. however, i'll be going back to DDF after this bottle. (after 5 years of using DDF, you would think i would know not to mix it up!) i guess this cleanser works fine, but to me it just isn't as good as the DDF one. for one thing, i think it smells a little funny. for another, self foaming cleansers just don't feel like they do as good of a job as the ones you foam up yourself. but in terms of keeping oil at bay, i guess it does a decent job.

I love this stuff!!! I've beenn searching long and hard for a good cleanser and I'm so glad I finally found this. I have weird skin that would break out on the cheeks with any other product (proactiv, l'oreal, murad, neutrogena, and more) besides Clean & Clear's Cream Cleanser. But I've been using that for 7 years and it just didn't seem to be working as much as when I was in high school. This cleanser could be a bit drying but that's nohing a good moisturizer couldn't fix. My skin is so much more clear now and the breakouts I always get on my jawline has now all disappeared (I've been using this for 3 months now). HG material. Highly recommended.

Ouch, I used this once a day for three days and my combination skin went nuts... It made my skin both oiler AND more dried out, not to mention itchy and irritated. I'm going back to alternating between L'Oreal's Ideal Balance and Pure Zone cleansers.

Benefit's Zit fighting super-hero Zapperella has added another weapon to her arsenal of blemish blasters! Whoosh is a gentle foaming cleanser with 2% Salicylic Acid. I was surprised to find the cleanser so creamy, and it didn't burn my face off....a plus! It did just as the name suggests, Whoosh! my make-up and the grime of the day swirled down the sink. I was left with a 100% make-up free face and my skin still felt soft. Not a Boo-Boo in sight since I added this fab foam to my routine. Thanks Zapperella you're my hero!
