I purchased this in my frustrating quest to find daily sun protection I could live with. I have pores that clog very easily and most of the products I tried were either clogging my skin, too shiny, too sticky or left a whitish cast.

I chose the 'Fair to Neutral' color which looks a bit muddy in the bottle but ended up blending well with my skin (my skin has more golden tones and I wanted a little color for summer). The formula is comfortable, light, matte (no shiny mica in it) and not sticky; it held up well all day without sliding off my face (the level of coverage is on the sheer side). It works well as an undereye concealer without settling into lines. The formula also has Retinol and vitamins which is a nice bonus; because of the clogged pores it's bad for me to start layering a ton of different products. The sunscreen actives are Octinoxate 7%, Octisalate 3%, Titanium Dioxide 5.1%. I chose this because of the absence of Avobenzone which I am suspecting of clogging me (from my observations with other products I have tried).

One thing to be aware of is that it dries very fast so you have to work quickly to get it on evenly. I squeeze a pump onto the back of my hand and work in small areas to cover. It's not a very moisturizing formula and you definitely need something underneath for slip. I use a 1% Clindamycin lotion prescribed by my dermatologist as a first layer along with my eye cream, then Neutrogena Healthy Skin Enhancer on top.

So I was a bit ambivalent about using this at first, but with some adaptation on how I use it, I'm really liking it so far.

Unfortunately, I'm finding that I can't use this solely as a moisturizer. When I haven't moisturized or moisturized enough, this stuff draws attention to the flaky areas and turns them ORANGE. I purchased this in medium to olive, and as soon as I squirted some of this on my hand I groaned at how orange-y it looked.

HOWEVER ... when I moisturize thoroughly before, the TM seems to spread and absorb well, and somehow doesn't seem orange-y. On dryer skin, really it only made the dry areas appear orange, everywhere else was relatively sheer coverage with a tan tone.

So the moisturizing aspect, not so great for me. The benefit for me though is that it's sheer and it evens out my skin tone without feeling heavy like foundation. Also, since it's sheer, a perfect color match isn't as important. Setting with a yellow/olive powder corrected the color even when it was appearing orange. Also, the quality of my skin looks like it's improved which I'm thinking may be due to the retinol. While my chin is a mess recovering from a recent acne breakout, that's improving a little lately, my cheeks look more supple and the pores look smaller. I've also been mixing this with a primer as sort of a homemade BB cream, which is so far working out great.

This is my favorite tinted moisturizer and I have tried way too many to count. It does not break me out and is extremely light weight with moderate amount of coverage.

This product is soooo good!! The formula is so nice and liquidy but also very creamy :) it applies very sheer and gives almost no coverage but it does even out your ski tone very well :) the pulp doesn't work sometimes but I still love the formula :)

I have used this off and on for years. I love that is has retinol in it. I can tell a difference in my skin after using this for a week or so. I tend to use it as a moisturizer under a light coverage foundation and it works beautifully. I can use 10 or 20, the shades are so sheer that color matching is not a bit deal.

This is a great tinted moisturizer and sunscreen combination for normal to slightly dry skin. I would recommend it to anyone that wants to fight the dreaded signs of aging with makeup:)

I LOVE this product. I have recently grown out of the stage where I felt I needed a thick, unnaturally even foundation and decided to go a more healthy and natural route with my face. After trying multiple bb creams and tms this is the one for me! The bottle clearly states it offers a sheer tint, so I'm wondering why there are negative reviews because of the lack of coverage. Did you expect it to do something it never said it would do?!?!? Anyways, for my oily skin, this is amazing. It lasts all day at work, and I have noticed my skin looks more healthy and even w/o it on. I throw this on with some blush and mascara for an easy day look. I highly recommend this for those looking for sheer coverage, with a good SPF.

I have really mixed feelings about this product.

In terms of overall texture and performance, I enjoy using it. It's very lightweight, almost gel-like in feel, easily glides over primed skin and blends to a sheer finish. I have combination skin and I don't find this either greasy or moisturizing.

Coverage could be better. This is definitely the sheerer side of sheer. Imperfections are blurred, but still obvious. Set with silica powder, this is a good, bare-faced makeup that provides SPF. I've also stippled foundation over it for better coverage, set with Too Faced Primed and Poreless Powder, and got no-fuss, all-day wear.

Despite its good points, I'm unlikely to repurchase it because:

1) Poor color match -- the lightest shade is a tad too peach for me. It's okay for casual wear or layered with other foundation.

2) Poor packaging -- the clear plastic packaging isn't good for the antioxidants or the retinol.

3) Neutrogena does animal testing. If I purchase from them, it needs to be exceptionally good and benefit my skin. This is a tinted moisturizer and there are others just as good from cruelty-free companies.

This gives me some coverage, evens out my skin tone and looks natural, like I'm not wearing foundation. Ivory to Fair is a good match for my skin. I'm sure the sheerness helps with that. It's lightly moisturizing but doesn't make my oily T zone any greasier than usual. I was a little worried about using something moisturizing on my nose but it's been OK. I have rosacea and this does not bother my skin. This doesn't cover all my ruddieness, but I have a lot to cover.

I never thought to try this because i dont believe theres a make up that looks perfect on and clears your skin. I really like this product, Ive tried high-end to drug store and most foundations makes my skin look very dry in certain areas even if i moisturise and they just don't go on smooth, this product is like rubbing lotion in, i can't feel it on my face, it feels soft goes on very smooth and i actually got a compliment the first day i wore it saying my skin looked flawless, i dont have acne but i do get occasional pimples and i have redness on my cheeks and nose area this product blends in very well and makes my skin look even. i dont know if this helps get rid of pimples but it didn't break me out and also its very light coverage and in my case its a good thing and i don't think it last that long i put a matte finishing powder on over and in only a few hours it began fading and i could see the redness and pimples again(but i've had this problem with every product ive tried) but if you reaply a little its not that big of a deal. i dont recommend this if you have very oily skin unless used as a primer and the packaging is the best its very easy to get out and pump helps get the perfect amount you need to apply.

I typically like Neutrogena products but this one didn't impress me at all and I can't stand to put it on my skin anymore. I bought this product because it has sunscreen, retinol, and it's a tinted moisturizer... seems like a good deal for so many benefits in one reasonably-priced product. But I hate hate hate how it feels on my skin. It initially goes on feeling rather greasy and it takes a while to absorb. And once it does dry, it leaves a chalky-feeling coating on my skin. It's not creamy, it's not moisturizing, it smells funky, and it makes my skin feel dirty and tight. Neutrogena dropped the ball on this one. The only positive points I can think of are the fact that it has sunscreen and retinol, and I like the pump packaging.

I used the darkest color (Medium to Olive 60) initially for my summer use. it dries very quickly so I had to apply it very quickly. when you don't use it for a while, the oil separates from the product and it can be a little wasteful. the pump is fabulous, and as for the color- it dries very matte on your face and I believe that it is very natural looking. the 60 color suited my dark complexion in the summer, as it was warm-based. but when i tried to purchase the 50 color for my winter shade, it was VERY gray-pink based and did not suit me well at all. I absolutely love the 60 during the summer and it gives medium to heavy coverage and is very buildable. However it is a tricky product to work with. I think that with enough time and patience, people will learn to love it-as long as it suits their skin color. My only complaint is that I run out so fast! it is not very spreadable, so I end up using a lot of product (1 and a half pumps) per use. I just wish this was bigger and that the 60 was available at every store!

I don't use the actual product, just the container! It's an airless pump bottle, so I just empty is out and fill it back up with my favorite foundation! Its re usable and super easy :) SOOO much better than regular glass bottles!

I am usually a huge neutrogena fan, so I guess I have high hopes, but this product really let me down. I have combination skin that is drier on my cheeks. I had originally purchased this midsummer since my skin was drying out with the constant exposure to sun and chlorinated water. At first, I loved this product. It added the moisture I needed and perfected my facial flaws. However as the weather got colder and my skin became a different type of dry, this started causing me to break out. I didn't think much of it and went back in about two weeks, only to be disappointed again. Then, for whatever reason, I decided on Christmas that I would combine it with my daily foundation to add some extra moisture to my cheeks. My skin looked great and glowing all day! Then the next morning, i woke up to find a bunch of pimples forming all over where I had used the product. Thank god for neutrogena's spot treatment! In conclusion, this was a great summer tinted moisturizer, but with my combination skin, used in the fall/winter was just a mistake. I would only recommend this as a summer product

I'm a lighter skinned Filipina, not quite mestiza-pale but not full-on golden brown either. I bought this because I was looking for something like a BB cream, with anti-aging ingredients + sunscreen, that came in my shade. I did think about buying the Missha M Perfect Cover in either No. 27 or 31, but I think I'm something in between the two shades, and I didn't want to commit to buying the whole tube in a shade that wasn't quite right. The Healthy Skin Enhancer was about $11-13 at Target, so I bought the darkest one available, Tan to Medium, and hoped for the best.
It's sheer enough to not look like makeup while still evening my skin tone. It is a tiny bit paler than my skin tone, but it's not that noticeable since it is sheer. Apparently there's a Medium to Olive, and I think I'll try that one next time. But overall it gives a natural semi-matte finish as the day goes on. I set it with my bareMinerals powder in dark, brings it a little closer to my skin color. The combination produces a really pretty dewey finish that lasts about 6-8 hours.
I have combination skin, and while this doesn't completely cover up my blemishes or hyper-pigmentation, it does blur them slightly, meaning I get to put less concealer on. After wearing this for a couple of weeks, I've noticed that wearing actually helps to get rid of my pimples faster! I think the retinol has something to do with it. It's included as an anti-aging ingredient, but I have heard that it helps with acne as well.
Also the packaging is great. The pump makes it really easy to get the exact amount of product you want. The only two things I would complain about are
1. The amount of product and
2. The shade selection.
While at $11-13 it's 1/2 the price of the Missha M BB cream, I think it has about 1/4 the amount of product. You don't need too much to cover the face, so this bottle will last me a while, I just wish it had a little more. Also, I was fairly lucky that Tan to Medium suited me, but people who are more than a bit darker than me are kinda out of luck. I think that criticism applies to Neutrogena as a brand though, because not a lot of their other products come in shades much darker than mine. But overall, I love the Healthy Skin Enhancer, and it's a part of my daily routine.

Bumps, itching and irritation because of the chemical sunscreen. Should have read ingredients on the bottle at store. However, now I know what chemical sunscreens to avoid. Will stick to physical sunscreens like Physicians Formula or anything with zinc oxide and/or titanium dioxide only.

Sensitive skin beware or buy with keeping receipt and good store return policy.

They can really mess up a good product with these chemical sunscreens and lose a lot of customers.

I originally bought this in the fair to light shade even though it looked a little dark for me because it seemed more pink toned whereas the ivory to fair shade looked very yellow. At first I was satisfied, a thin layer imparted just enough color (I couldn't apply more or it looked too dark) but I still needed concealer. I really liked that this has retinol and SPF 20 in it, but I did not find this moisturizing at all. After applying on top of moisturizer it sets to a slightly moist finish which was attractive, but after 4-6 hours my skin would start to look dry and really flaky which I think was due to the retinol. When I repurchased I bought the ivory to fair version and it was too yellow but looked ok. After using it 2-3 times I had the same flaky dry skin and decided to wash my face and my skin was bright red and stung. I think I became sensitive to the retinol. It took 3 days for my skin to go back to normal. I will not use or repurchase this again.

Since it's a tinted moisturizer, I figured I could apply it right after normal moisturizer + primer right? Wrong! It looks awful on top of any moisturizer from expensive ones like the Sephora Brand one for combination skin to cheap ones like Cetaphil. So, since I was down $9, I didn't want to give up on this product. I tried using it after I washed my face without primer or moisturizer. It looked okay. Not great just okay. I didn't really feel like it added a lot of moisture or color or even "glow"; it added maybe a tad of each. It definitely has that "feel like you're not wearing any makeup" I am giving it 2 out of 5 stars because even though I hated it, I am almost 100% sure that women with tan to dark skin that is dry will like this product, as it has properties that tend to improve the look of dry skin. But, it really did not do that much for me. My skin is rarely dry.

I really am not a fan of this product. It just did not work out for me. Besides the fact that it broke me out and caused dry patches on my skin after just two days of use, the coverage was horrible. Im shocked that other people called it light-medium. I find it less than sheer. It didnt help cover my redness or even lightly smooth it out. The texture was nice, but at the end of the day
Pros:
Nice smell- like weak smelling sunscreen, not too strong
Nice texture

This stuff is great.
I have sensitive, combination skin, and this feels cooling and soothing on it, not oily but not drying. Coverage is sheer but I feel it evens out my skin tone subtly and it's the only stuff I can out on my oily, slightly-red nose that that takes out the pink but doesn't look cakey or masklike. It's not thick enough to cover a pimple or red mark, but that's what concealer is for - it's just a great thing to even out my face without making me feel heavily done up.

I think it has helped calm breakouts and prevent them. It's part of my skincare routine so it's hard to say exactly what has been calming down my breakouts, but it definitely isn't irritating.
