At first I was really happy with this primer it did what it was meant to do and it was great! However I soon realised that it was making my skin worse and after research and reading many reviews I found that the ingredients are not at all good for skin prone to acne or sensitive skin so I stopped using it for a while and my skin did calm down a little bit. I would say this is a great product for someone that doesn't have sensitive skin like I do because it is good just not for me!!

I have oily-dehydrated skin and all the primers ive used before dont suit me, this has been a life saver it is moisturizing at tyhe start so i apply this then walk around or do my eyes and apply my foundation when this has dried mate, and it isnt too expensive comparing to other primers you get way more product for the same price

I recently purchased this along with the MAC moisturizer, pro Longwear foundation, and setting powder and I am very pleased with it. It seems to smooth out my skin for the foundation and keep my makeup in place for over 8 hours. I even use this as an eyeshadow primer and it worked pretty good. Just for reference I have normal skin so I do not know what effect it would have on oily skin. I have been breaking out really bad lately due to pregnancy hormones but my face has cleared up a lot with a new face wash and the MAC moisturizer. And this has not made me break out at all like previous posters have said. I think it all depends on the person. I personally think my skin has looked better and clearer since I began using MAC products.

I have acne prone skin and this primer was one of the few culprits of my breakouts. Actually almost every MAC product that I used was not good for me. I did a lot of research on the ingredients and Almost every product has major pore clogging ingredients. The silicone did a job on my face. It clogged my pores and make the texture bumpy. I've finally found a silicone free primer....skindinavia.

Just awful in every possible way. At the MAC counter, i told the SA i had dry, sensitive/ combo skin prone to breakouts. So she recommended this. Unbelievable! It SERIOUSLY dried my skin out horribly, to the point that it felt red raw later that night and i had a resulting huge exzcema flare up & acne break out the next day. On top of that, my skin was so dried out that my foundation totally disappeared off my face the day after, just totally emphasizing every dry patch and enlarged pore. Horrendous. Has put me off MAC for life!

This is my go to primer. I have adult acne with active breakouts so I'm greasy, but my treatments tend to make me look dry tired and dehydrated. I used this before my acne developed and loved it! I wasn't expecting a miracle, I know that I'm not going to be lump free. (My skin is lumpy no matter how good the coverage etc is of my makeup. You can't hide that stuff!) After your moisturiser has soaked in, Use a pea sized amount, apply all over face and allow to soak in. I apply my DW foundation using a beauty blender (I wash with antibacterial soap every day) as it's the only thing I find I can build coverage with. However... Where my make up usually goes dry, peels off or sinks into my pores. (Other battles as well as covering zits!) this prevented all that. It kept the skin around the top of my cheeks and my chin looking fresh rather than crispy. Pros- It works for me. I don't think it's expensive as you don't need a lot. My foundation lasts longer whilst looking fresher. I look less dehydrated. Cons- Pump dispenser. This is hygienic. But you end up with a lot of product left in the tube.

I have acne scarring with some pitted scars on my cheeks, so I like using primers to fill the void and smooth the texture of my skin. I purchased at MAC with some other facial/skincare products. Although this is a great product, it is not for my oily skin. I live in a hot, humid climate and I am only able to use this product when I know I won't be wearing makeup for long periods of time or on vacation in a less humid climate. The shimmery lotion texture feels nice (not slimy like most primers) but it does make makeup slide off if you are oily.

I recommend this if you have blemish free, dry skin.

This markets itself as both a primer and a finishing spray. I guess it's nice to cut back on having to buy 2 different products but I've used much better primers that feel silkier. However by spraying my face after I've applied the rest of my makeup, it makes it last the whole day. I would buy again just for the staying power.

This is the first primer I have ever owned and I think that it does a really great job! I used to wear it over moisturiser but have found that makes my skin too oily. A little of this product goes a long way. It lasts a long time so therefore I think the price is good value. I would recommend this product to most people, unless you have extremely oily skin!

It'a a nice primer. It prolongues the wear of your makeup. but it doesn't do anytjing by itself. It has some shimmer to it and feela like a lotion, I feel like it doesn't do anything with pores or linea at all, and a pump of this wastes sooo much. I thibk there are so many better primers out there.
