Price: I bought this for about 8$ CAD
Which, isn't too much to pay for a decent drugstore eyeliner.
Packaging: I didn't have any problems with the packaging, except for the fact that I had this for maybe 4 months, and I didn't realize it had a sharpener in the bottom. ( I know, i'm such a blonde.)
Would I buy this product again?
I said no, just because there is no maybe button. But if there was, i'd press it. My reasoning for this, is, I want to try other drugstore eyeliners, but if I couldn't find anything else, i'd probably buy this again.

Overall, this eyeliner is a pretty good quality, although, if its not fairly sharp, it doesn't go on very dark. If you haven't tried this yet, and your looking for something fairly good, give it a try, and its good for beginners.

I love this eyeliner and have just found out it has been discontinued. I already have what CG recommends for the replacement. The point plus eyeliner does not have the staying power of the outlast liner. I have used the espresso for my non existent brows FOREVER. I am so sorry to see the Outlast go.

I haven't written a review in a long time but felt compelled to write a glowing recommendation after using this liner for a week. it is VERY good for a d/s liner. i haven't purchased d/s makeup in years, but i'd meet my friend late in the evening and she'd still have perfectly applied liner that lasted the entire day, so i had to try it. the color is nothing special but the staying power is awesome. i'm headed to asia later this year and anticipate muggy, humid weather and didn't feel the MUFE pencils ive been using for years now would hold up in those temps.. luckily i have a cheaper alternative now that might do the job.

I recently switched back to this old favorite, [after going through several of Clinique's creme shaper in Chocolate Lustre] -- now I'm reminded how great it truly is and thought it deserves some love on MUA! I liked the texture & colour of the Clinique liner but couldn't get the fine line I like, even with frequent sharpening which just ground down the pencil. Outlast in Espresso is a gem--it keeps a fine point, doesn't need sharpening [good thing, because the built-in sharpener feels a bit flimsy], stays on extremely well, is easily available at a great price, and the espresso colour is a perfect compliment to my dark brown eyes. I don't line inside my eyelids [waterline] and don't think this would be ideal for that but for definition close to the lashes, this is as close to perfect as it gets.

Long lasting, beautiful dark brown eyeliner. It is in a twist-up mechanical pencil package (which I love). Great product for a cheap price.

I love these eyeliners. For d/s they are good quality, have staying power, I love the twist up feature ( no sharpening, or product wasted). I find they go on smoothly, and you can smudge it out if you do it right away before it sets. I always set it with some eyeshadow too, and I find it lasts all day. The basic colours are good, but there isn't anything out of the ordinary. I don't like these for my waterline though. Doesn't stay on. For me all day wear means under normal conditions, not rubbing your eyes or crying or getting wet somehow.

I love this eyeliner! I use it every time I put makeup on. It's smooth and it goes on smoothly when I apply it. The twist-up packaging is great. I would definitely buy it again.

I bought this on sale to replace my old stand by eyeliner, Avon Glimmersticks. It was pretty decent-it did stay put pretty well. The color was great. I don't know if I like it enough to replace the avon though, but it was decent.

This product was ok. Nothing I would bother buying again. I need to go over the line maybe once or twice. This wasn't very smooth, didn't glide on. Nothing impressive.

This works well for me. I do not put it on thick though, and by the end of the day it will smudge if i really rub my eyes a lot. but its easy to apply and a great color. i normally just apply to the bottom lashes and in the corner of my eye.

This is a great eyeliner. It stays on much better than many of my high-end liners. It is the perfect color for me also. I have re-purchased 3 or 4 times now and will continue to. Awesome quality for a great price.

I was surprised at how well this eyeliner performed for me. I've been looking for an eyeliner that makes a very thin line and does not smudge during the day, and here it is!

I'm going for a no-makeup look with make-up, so I do not want a heavy line. I apply this with a tiny brush in my other hand, smudging using the brush before it dries.

It looks great on me, is a very nice color, and stays on all day. Most other liners fall-out on me, smudge all over the place after a few hours, or just vanish. This one is like a tattoo on me.

This stuff claims to be smudge resistant. It's so hard to get on, how can you tell? I goes on my hand fine, but on my eyes, no way. I'd have to engrave it to get an actual line on my upper lids and I've tried it with clean lids, foundation on my lids and with shadow on them to no avail. It goes on under my eye a little better, but it disappears within 2 hours. I've yet to find an automatic pencil that's worth a hoot. Revlon Colorstay is okay, but it's really hard to get a fatter line with it and it wears off too, so there is no such thing as long-lasting liner I guess.

For my money pencil eyeliner works just as well, but costs just as much and they're hard to sharpen. Jordana does a good job, but is a bit harder to get off. Q-tips and baby oil work best for me to remove liner. I think I'll try Rimmel. At least with both of these, you're not out $7 for a liner that doesn't work!

This is a really nice, rich brown. When i do my makeup in a subtle fashion, I'll sometimes use this. My sister uses it as her eyeBROW pencil and it looks great on her! Overall, a great product!

What a great drugstore eyeliner! It's the perfect color. I love the sharpener on the bottom. What I really like about this liner is that its a twist up pencil. I dislike sharpening eyeliners immensely. Once in a while it clumps to a lash on my lower eyelid. Otherwise, it's a great buy!

I'm a product junkie. I bought 3 liners in one day. MAC's Technakohl in Brownborder, Cover Girl's Outlast smoothwear in brown, and ALMAY's eyeliner (that's what its called now i guess? I dont know where the Amazing comes from, i guess that's what it used to be. let me know if i'm worng please.)
They all lasted me all day! MAC goes on so beautifully but does smudge just a little bit, so much you might not even notice it let alone others. MAC had the nicest color and it goes on so soft.
Cover Girl was a hassel to put on. Its too hard, you have to go over a few times and the product clings on to your skin at some parts more than it should giving you a non-smooth look.
ALMAY won the match because it did what MAC did for quarter of the price!!!! It goes on smooooooth like you'd think it wont last but it does last for the 16 hours it claims. It is waterproof so be ware to clean it with oil-based eye makeup remover or something. I'm returning MAC and Cover Girl and sticking with ALMAY.
Only reason i'm not giving it a 5 is that I kinda liked the MAC color better, although you have to have a magnifying glass to tell the difference. I might not even be able to tell if I didnt put it on myself! but i'm picky so one lippie for that.
ALMAY is like a dark brown and MAC is the same but with some more red in it. so it depends on you preference and your $$$ which you'd go with because the quality is the same if not ALMAY better.

I use this eyeliner all the time! I like it a lot. It's my alternative to my favorite Clinique Quickliner for Eyes and the CG e/l is a lot cheaper too.

I'd give this one a 3.5 if I could. I don't like it as much as my HG pencil eyeliners, Cover Girl Perfect Point Plus The color is a nice matte, dark brown color. I like the smudger on the Perfect Point Pluses better. Also I think that this pencil is too slippery and the liner can flake and smudge on occassion, these are okay not great. I definately like the Outlast lip liners better.

this came at a discounted price with my lovely Lash Exact mascara, so i decided to give it a try. it is pretty good, the only problem is that it flakes easily and rubs off on my lower lids. because it's so cheap i keep on buying it, but i will be looking for a better eyeliner out there !!
