I guess this is OK, but nothing special. I bought it for a night cream (recommended by the sales girl at the Body Shop), but it is not moisturizing enough for a winter night cream. Honestly, in the past 3 months I've seen no improvement in my skin whatsoever, definitely not the "illuminating" and revitalizing/ tone evening they claim.
I'll keep searching for the perfect moisturizer...

At first I was really impressed with this. The lady at T.B.S. sold me on it after I told her about my red, splotchy skin and the problems I was having with it. Now, it doesn't even really seem to be doing anything for me. I've had it for almost two months, and I'm pretty much over it. I'll continue to use it until I run out, but unless something drastic happens (like they add/take away an ingredient) I more than likely will not buy it again. I've had better luck with much less expensive products....the one thing I do like about this product, though, is that I can easily toss it in my bag and I know that (since it is in a tub) as long as I have closed it tightly, it won't explode everywhere.

I decided to treat myself to this product as I had a $35 credit from their membership club. I expected nothing but was pleasantly surprised. The "illuminating" comes from a very slight opalescent shimmer that does make you glow in a very natural way - it can barely be seen and is absolutely safe for office/day makeup. It is a nice light cream that quickly sinks into the skin leaving not a trace of residue. It is great for my normal-dry skin in the summer, but will be too light in the winter. I do notice an improvement in my skin as far as anti aging goes - it helps with fine lines and makes my skin more youthful and glowy. I think it is a great cream for 25-40 year old skin problems. I will break out the big guns after 40, but for now this does me fine.

I really, really love this product! At first I thought I might be allergic to it, since my dry, sensitive skin got dry, reddish patches. But then, I wasn't sure because it was the start of cold weather, and I'd just switched moisturizers (from Lush Celestial to this) and at the same time started using another product. But I waited for my skin to get better, then started using this again, this time over my regular moisturizer.
Lo and behold! It looked great!! It's not moisturizing enough, but paired with my moisturizer, it gives a wonderful finish! Plus, it tones down the shine that my moisturizer sometimes leaves, and gives a luminous, pearly finish. (I received compliments on my "radiant" skin as well!) I don't even have to powder my face, which is great because I want to use as little powder as possible, and skip foundation entirely.
As for the deeper effects, I'm not quite sure if it's really working, but I can say that my skin has been in very good condition since I started using this, with a much more even tone and texture. I'll definitely buy again!

At first I liked it a lot, it faded away the lines on my forehead (I am 25 w/normal/combo/sensitive skin)After using it for a while (about 2 months) it started to broke me out. It could be because of my sensitive skin (sometimes a product goes really good for a while and suddenly I develop an allergic reaction). If you dont have that sensitive skin it is a good product for your money. It has a little fragrance in it which is hard to describe but it is a fresh scent. Another reason why I stopped using this product is that I got into using organic products that are cruelty free (thats how I started with the body shop), and real organic that does not contain any animal derived ingredients and paraben free.

I bought this on a whim during The Body Shop sale at SGD20. It retails for SGD35. I'm not too sure about the efficacy of this product because I haven't been using this for too many days. The one good thing about this product is that it dries down very quickly, and doesn't leave an oily finish. My complaint is that the packaging is not very savoury - I would much rather see this in a pump bottle than in a tub. :)
I think this would be a great base for makeup, since it does help even out skin. I don't know whether this will be effective in the long run for preventing lines though. I guess only time will tell. :)
The price is quite expensive, and chances are I won't be repurchasing it, because I love 100% jojoba oil.
