I have acne prone skin. One wrong moisturizer and I get small clogged pores that show up as little red pimples. I have combo skin that gets irritated, tight and pimply when I don't moisturize properly.

This stuff makes my skin absolutely GLOW.
So many different moisturizers have failed me (including Korean brands, organic brands, and sensitive skin lines.)
This Nivea cream is so inexpensive. I bought the tub that is one size smaller than the GIANT tub and honestly, it lasted me for a few years. I think 2 or 3 years! I was always careful to use clean hands when using the cream out of the tub, so it never went bad.

Now I have repurchased the travel size in the squeeze tube, and I love it.

I simply use toner on a cotton pad, some soothing fluid, and then take a dollop of this and warm it up in my hands. Then, I press it into the skin starting from my cheeks, then my chin and the rest of my face. Unlike so many moisturizers, this never breaks me out. It's a heavy duty cream that feels greasy, but I never get acne from this.

This helps keep the acne (from dryness) away and makes my skin soft and supple.
Also, I really love the scent. It's fresh and clean so it never bothers me.

I strayed and tried other lotions and creams, but especially in the winter, there is no other like this pot of gold.

The results from this cream vary from person to person, but if it does not work on the face, USE IT EVERYWHERE ELSE!! On the hands, knees, legs, arms, lips- anywhere. It works like magic for very dry skin.

There is a slight learning curve for using this cream as it is so rich, but once you get the hang of it you may love it just as much as I do.

Hope this helps!

The best moisturizer I've ever used. Nothing helps my dry lips. NOTHING but nivea. I've tried everything. If my skin is sore and dry, this soothes it every time better than aloe vera, oil, paw paw, you name it.

Makes my skin extra smooth in the morning. Been using this since I was a child and I've tried numerous moisturisers over the years but nothing compares. If nivea ever discontinues this product, I think I would lose my mind. Not for people who moan and complain about disliking the greasy texture. Some people hate it, but that's the reason why I love it. It's greasy, soothing and leaves my skin incredibly soft like velvet.

Nivea creme is surprisingly the only moisturizer that doesn't break me out. My skin is acne prone and sensitive so I have to be careful with many moisturizers. This moisturizer doesn't have cetearyl alcohol which I always break out from! Nivea creme plumps up my skin and it stays hydrated. Though, sometimes it's a little too greasy. Other than that, it's my HG moisturizer for now.

I've sure learned my lesson when it comes to buying into expensive skincare. This does the job better than most. I think it breaks me out the tiniest bit (everything does) but it makes for an amazing makeup base after you let it sink in for 10 minutes or so. The only time my foundation doesn't crack or sink into my dehydration lines is when I use this in the morning.

i adore Nivea-I use it nightly all over my feet topped off with thick socks. Keeps my feet soft and keeps the dry skin at bay during the winter. I use it on my hands, cuticles, lips, and under my eyes. It seals in moisture like nothing else I've tried-and I've tried it all. It's so cheap, the smell is so soothing, and I carry tins around with me obsessively. I keep the big tub by my bed? And I've gotten my fiancé hooked on it as well. He works with his hands and they are always torn up and bleeding, and the travel size tins are a godsend for him-they fit in a pocket and the scent isn't too girly for him. I use this on my daughters dry winter skin as well. You can even shave with it. A true wonder product!

This product has done wonders for my dehydrated, acne prone skin. To my suprise, it did not broke me out, if anything, my skin cleared out. Considering the price, I think it is worth trying it. Sorry for my English, hope you will understand :)

this a great moisturizer! especially fro dry skin. but i think for oily skin, it will leave you in oil as this cream is thick. i always use this on my body except my face. but only on my eyes before sleep every night. it really lighten my under eye and help make the eye bag less noticeable. i always put this on my leg and cover it in socks before going to bed. u will wake up with a very soft legs. i really recommend this cream if u are on budget and looking for something cheap. and u still a student like me! and even if it did not work on you, its not really a lost because this cream is very cheap.

OK, let me finally put this American vs German version of Nivea cream debate finally to rest.
I mean, people are writing blogs comparing the two, it's gotten to this urban legend status by now.
Girls, I grew up in the very same city that the German version is made. I have known this iconic cream since I was a newborn. Now that I've moved and became a Yankee I can ASSURE YOU 100% that I can't even tell the difference between the two. None. My family that comes to visit from good old Germany cannot tell.
It's basically the same cream and an amazing one at that. In the deep of winter it's all I use. Great for feet, hands, the whole body. The only place I don't use it is on my face, though I do put it on my lips for an overnight treatment sometimes for an extra boost of hydration.
So don't waste your time and money on finding the German version. The good stuff is right at your friendly neighborhood drugstore.
Oh and both Marilyn Monroe and Lana Turner used this cream faithfully. Those two glamour girls couldn't be wrong ;)
