I use this quad everyday. It's so easy to apply (even when it's 6 in the morning, my eyes are half closed and i haven't turned the lights on) and the colours don't crease without primer (i wouldn't say it lasts for 12 hours... more like 6-7).
I have asian eyes with little/no eyelid so i just use the second lightest coour as a wash from the eyelashes to the eye socket. I then use a smaller brush with the darkest brown as eyeliner on top and bottom for a very subtle smokey effect.
The only colour i don't use is the coppery/red brown shade as it doesn't reall suit my colouring... but other than that, i've got nothing but love for this eyeshadow quad!

This is a very beautiful neutral quad from this line. I have one in Copper Spice, which I liked but it dropped and the highlight color was smashed and made a mess.
I liked Copper Spice, but because it broke so easily that I never repurchased until recently. I got this one sale, and I must say that I like this one more than Copper Spice.
There is only one satiny/shimmery shade which is a reddish brown which does not have that chalky/glittery/lack or pigmentation mess that Drugstore Brands like to package which is nice.
I used this for work one morning instead of my UD Naked palette and this palette was surprisly easy to use, colour co-ordinated, pigmented and the lasting power was great (with the help of UDPP of course). There is an off white/cream shade that is not too white, a light taupe which is good for blending out colours or a highlight if youre darker and a really nice dark brown.
I really cant deal with the lack of pigmentation with drugstore e/s so I usually shy away and if I do buy them, I often wouldnt re-purchase.
I may not repurchase this one because I just have too many e/s altogether, but dont get me wrong, I definitely do recommend this quad and I may just pick up another set.

I received this as part of a gift with purchase promotion.
My skin is quite tanned, and I found that the two lightest colours did not show up on me at all. The white highlighter shade is chalky and not flattering in the least. The light 'lid' shade is okay but since you can't see it on my skin, kind of pointless. Both these shades are matt.
The third shade is a shimmery copper. This is my favourite shade out of the palette. It doesn't come up too shimmery, though, and needs a bit of build up before it shows, but you get there eventually. It's quite smooth and blendable, and I quite like it.
The last shade is supposed to be for your V and liner too, but it's just not dark enough on me and is kind of blah. It shows up, so pigmentation is okay, but it's nothing great.
I use a primer underneath the shadows, so it really is just an issue of pigmentation and product quality.
Wouldn't buy again since half the quad is useless to me. Might work better on fair-skinned lasses.

If I can use this palette to create a neutral/subtle eye, anyone can. I find this great for doing an entire eye "look", as opposed to just one eye shadow as a wash of color. (Which is what I've graduated from). This palette made it easy.
I really like the combination of colors, and that the directions are on the bottom of the palette itself, not just on the outer packaging that gets thrown away.
I can't say anything about wear time, as I almost always use a base, but I always have to take this stuff off with makeup remover at the end of the night.
This is always in my makeup bag.

I am in LOVE with these Eyeshadow Quads by Revlon! I have 3 Quads which are Copper Spice, Coffee Bean and Starlight. I initially had reservations about buying these eyeshadows because of the shimmer they had, but I am SO glad I gave it a try anyways. Once they are on you cant tell there is a whole lot of shimmer at all. They have become one of my few must have/irreplaceable makeup items.
I use Copper Spice and Coffee Bean every day (Starlight very rarely.. It's really the only disappointing Quad). I use a combo of colors from both Quads. I use the two light tans in Coffee Bean for blending mostly. I used to use all of the colors before I bought Copper Spice. I have very pale skin, red hair and blue/gray eyes, so these plane but beautiful colors are absolutely perfect for me. The result is flawless and deceptively natural. What more could I ask for?
I think the colors are neutral enough to work for anyone. This Quad is definitely a must have basic of tans and browns.
The eyeshadows are very pigmented for a DS brand. Definitely the best quality for the price I have found. However, you do have to use it liberally if you want the colors very dark (Some of the colors are more pigmented than others). The eyeshadows blend easily and really do last all day. Theres no smudging and very little fading, if any.
These Quads seem to last forever. Ill be re-buying these as soon as I need to.

4 beautiful neutral shades... a cream shade for your highlight, a very light taupe, a pretty bronze and a stunning deep dark chocolate brown. All shades seem to be matte except the crease shade which is more of a satin finish... not shimmer though. They apply and blend out really nice and the lasting power is fantastic.... lasts all day for me.... but I do notice that I never have a problem with my makeup lasting from early AM to late PM... could have to do with my skin being normal/dry, not sure. If you are on the hunt for a great neutral palette try this... runs around 5 dollars depending on where you buy it.

I'm genuinely shocked by the poor reviews below. I'm trying to find something not to like about this product. You get four very wearable shades for very little money in comparison with other brands. The four colours are neutral and very versatile - I can create an almost naked look or a more dramatic look from the same quad. The colours last well, there is a mixture of matte and shimmery finishes. They are easy to work with and last really well. Good pigmentation - IMHO - thought I prefer to be able to build up. Ans they don't irritate the sensitive skin in this area. Great! Love Revlon!

This was my first colorstay quad! I use it almost every day because I just love the way it blends and makes my brown eyes look richer. Every color goes perfectly with eachother!
(from top to bottom) I usually use the second color for a "base". The third color for the lid. The darkest color on the crease of the lid, and the very 1st shade as a highlight starting at the inner corner of my eye. It looks awesome!

I liked this quad . . . just not on me. The colors are gorgeous, and smooth and easy to blend. But since they didnt work for me I gave it to my Mom, it looks great on her.

This quad is perfect for a very natural look. I like that I can wear this without looking like I'm wearing tons of eyeshadow. These Revlon quads do crease though, so you really need a good primer.

Like the other quads in this line, I don't like it and don't ever reach for it. The pigment is low, shadows are chalky/frosty on me. I cannot vouch for wear as I try to use up products I have so give these another go from time to time with various primers etc, but always end up removing them almost immediately.

This quad is pretty decent. I wouldn't say it's amazing...maybe 3/5 ... I gave it a 4 because I found i can use it for multiple things. I use all the shades for my eyes, the two light colours for my brows, and a mix of all of them for a cheek contour. The colours aren't crazy pigmented (which is good for contouring my <n3 skin but not for eyes...) but they do show up and they do look good. My favourite shade would definitely be the shimmery copper. The shades in this are very similar to another revlon quad I purchased, which was a cream shadow quad ( Not Just Nudes, i think it was? ) which I really like. The packaging on this is nice to look at, simple and streamlined, but often when I open it the lid comes off its hinges (and usually ends up denting the powder). I will probably be buying this product in another set of shades, as these are a good way to try out colours without paying too much, and still getting decent quality product.

I bought Revlon 12 Hour Colorstay eyeshadows in "coffee bean" for $15AUD in a clearance bin. I doubt I would have paid more and now regret that I did not pay twice that price for a single MAC eyeshadow.
I have a number of problems with the "coffee bean" quad: while the four eyeshadows look nice in the palette, on my eyelids the medium brown shade looks very reddish, which makes me look tired; when used without a primer the color payoff is poor and the shadows are also smeary; the finish is chalky; the two foam applicators that come with the palette are too small. I have small hands and I can barely hold the applicators as they are shorter than the average matchstick. I realize that one is supposed to use a decent eyeshadow brush instead of using the applicators that are sold with most palettes, but I bought this palette in an emergency with the hope that the applicators would at least be useable.
I suppose the good thing about this quad is that there are four shades of eyeshadow in it and if you do not mind the extra steps required to make the color show up, it is a good buy, not too expensive. I personally am too busy to add primer as an extra step in my morning routine. I will not buy Revlon eyeshadows again.

these eyeshadows have a great colour turn out and glide on easily like something pricier. great everyday neutrals that you can use for a nighttime look as well if you go with the darker colours and damp application. a great basic to have around

This is a great selection of long lasting neutrals. I have been using it for years to create an evening smoky eye. They last most of the day, and blend very easily.
