The colors for this brand of polish are amazing. I can say that the color stays true and it shines like no other. However, I find that my nail polish chips the first day even with a top coat. I've tried it with the diamond top coat/base coat, the hard as nails base coat, the salon complete base coat and the Salon top coat, and by itself. Basically, all combinations of multiple Sally Hansen base & top coats. It doesn't matter what I do, my nails look terrible on day 2. But, sometimes, it actually chips within 1 hour of applying it. I am fully aware that it is caused my job, which requires heavy typing on my computer. I suppose the nail polish would last if I didn't type at all. But, that is definitely not realistic.

Bought it 'cause it happened to be on sale on my local drugstore. As it was a 'buy 1 free 1' promo, i got the colours 'Black Tie' and 'Diamonds'.
Black tie is i gorgeous colour imo, i love it. From the bottle, it has purple, green and maybe a hint of blue inside. When applied on nails, it appears fully purple when its under direct bright light (i.e under a table lamp), and appears green when under "indirect" light (when looking at nails facing away from the lamp). Actually it depends on the type of lighting too.. ok i know i make no sense. :P
For the Diamonds, when applied it gives a metallic look finish. Matte. I layered it over black tie and it looks cool!
The only downside is that i find it to be goopy.. maybe its because i really prefer my polishes to be actually more to the watery side as it makes it easier to paint and more "blendable". It might take more coats and time but i'll much prefer that. (China Glaze's Swanky Silk is the consistency i love)
Overall this is a polish worth buying if you have any colours you like in the series. For me, i couldn't really see much shades that i could buy, most shades are too mature imo.
EDIT(again): I wore it for four days, and it doesn't chip. AT ALL. But it does have very little wear at the tips, which is perfectly normal. But compared to all other polishes i've worn they are always sure to chip sooner or later and this doesn't. Good :))

Mixed feelings on this!
I own 'Black Diamonds' and 'Wedding Crashers'
Pros: Pretty great shades!
Dries fairy fast, although I use the cold water trick.
Cons: Chips easily
It's nearly impossible to remove!!
The brush is huge (although my nails are small)
The brush picks up way too much product!!'

I have this product in several colors and absolutely love it. Two coats is enough, and I find the colors to be true to the bottle. I wait tables and work with a register, and even without a top coat it takes several days to start showing wear. It's amazing for the price.

This is going to be a weird review. :) I feel like the company doesn't understand what this product is good for, or something. The sheer colours are great for short nails or a quick touchup over a pedicure that's not quite passing muster any more. But I HAVE to use a topcoat if I want it to last. Diamond Strength my foot. It wears right off in a way I've never seen from most other polishes. Still, some of the colours are sweet, the price is right, and as I said, it has its uses. I have quite a few of these. They just don't quite work as advertised.

I got this in Something Blue. It seems to be lasting on my toes but it chipped like nobody's business after one day... and what was left, was extremely difficult to remove! Great palest blue shimmer with tiny electric blue metallic confetti. Love the shade, hate the finish and poor lasting power.

I applied 'Diamonds & Rubies' right before a cleaning spree. It took them two days to barely chip after being soaked in dish water and mop water repeatedly. It dries faster than my OPI and has a really nice shine. Plus they sell it at the Dollar Tree, so I can get new colors even on a tight budget. Will defiantly buy again:)

I bought Pulled Sugar as a replacement for my previous favorite Fairy Tale Ivory and I actually like it much better. It's got a beautiful silvery pink micro glitter in it and though it looks pink in the bottle, it leaves a very sheer pink sheen. So far it hasn't chipped off and still has plenty of shine. New favorite!

I use 06 Pink Promise and I absolutely love the color, but for some reason it takes forever to dry! So I always end up messing up my nails :-/

This is the only Sally Hansen product that I like. I bought 220 Champagne Toast when it was on sale for $1. I really like that color and the polish itself. It does whiten and strengthen my nails but it stains. It left my nails with this weird clear pinkish stain after removal with a good nail polish remover. It looks fine but still isn't something I like. I bought 150 Platinum on a whim for $4. I hate this shade. It applies pink with a weird shimmer despite looking clear off-white in the bottle. It dries clear with a noticeable pink tint and no shimmer. I dislike this shade and don't understand why it's called Platinum when it's clearly a shade of clear pink. The product takes several minutes to dry and I run out of patience. So I don't have flawless nails when I wear this. The packaging is glass but very thick. It's durable and can survive a fall to a tiled floor. I dislike the brush. I have to wipe it twice to remove almost all the product. Some seems to get stuck above the brush and I have to wait for that to drip down onto the brush so that I can remove it. It doesn't bother me all that much but is still irritating enough to down grade packaging quality to a 4. I will buy this product again as it IS the best nail polish I've ever used.
Colour: Misleading. Name and appearance in the bottle is not what the product looks like when applied. Be forewarned.
Application: Messy. Must wipe brush several times to remove all stray product. Easy to apply more than necessary.
Coverage: Thin. This product can not take more than one coat or it just doesn't dry. It applies very thinly and dries slowly. It's see-through.
Nail Effects: It does not strengthen so much as harden. My nails are harder but not stronger. My nails are prone to fraying and immediately after removing this product to apply a new coat, I noticed that two of my nails were fraying. It does whiten, though.
Removal: Difficult to remove completely. I removed this product with a strong nail polish remover and there was still a whitish coat left on my nails.
Chipping: Seems to be impossible once completely dry. This lasted for a solid week with no imperfections before I got tired of the colour and removed it.
Gripes: The application brush is terrible. Hard to remove excess product and apply an appropriate amount to my nail.
Recommendation: Buy this and be patient through the application and drying process. It's a good product.
Price: $4 at my local Wal-Mart.

I have this in Save the Date and Flawless, which I use as a top coat. Flawless makes my polishes look super shiny but seems to take a while to dry. Save the Date is a really pretty dark magenta, but the two times that I wore it, it would start peeling off after 2-3 days. I've had other polishes chip or get tip wear, but never peeling before. With both bottles, the nail polish always comes off in globs down the brush and is annoying to have to wipe off. I did like the wide bush though.

This product provides a great finish: shiny, excellent color, and lasts a long time. It does take awhile for it to chip off. My favorite color is Tyin' The Knot. Their entire selection is classic and very beautiful. The drying time was normal. No need to apply a top coat. I love the packaging for this polish..the brush is great and the diamond on the bottle makes this an eye-catcher.

a lot of this line is on clearance right now at rite aid for 75% off. i paid about 1.24 a piece and bought platinum and rosy future. i have to admit, these are gorgeous!! they are both perfect for valentines day. the platinum is a white, pink-y, purple-y that looks metallic when applied. it's beautiful. you can tell from looking at the bottle that it's not a flat white and does have a hint of pink in it.
the rosy future is also beautiful. this maybe my new favorite nail polish color. it's a berry with a hint of mauve and a hint of red topped with a shiny finish. these two colors look awesome together. i'm going to go back and buy the rest of the colors that are on clearance. that's how much i love this line.

I use the clear coat of this (NOT the nail strengthener) & like it a lot. It takes a lot for it to chip (i work in the health care setting so i'm constantly washing my hands and even clear coats chip really easily for me) I can usually go 5 days before having to take it off and reapply it and usually its because my nails grew. It dries really fast which is great for me.
The only down side for me is that since its clear i have trouble seeing if i got all the polish off.

I would probably buy this product again. It works really well, and my nail polishes can last a life time. However, the packaging sucks. The product seeps from the cap and dries into a rubbery texture. I paid $4.99 so it does it's job for the price. Recommended.

Overall, this is an excellent product for the SH line. I have diamond strength in color 05 (Diamonds). By itself, color 05 is a yellow-tinged clear (sheer) with diamond sparkles. However, I use it as a second coat on top of one of my Opi colors, most typically a soft, opalescent neutral. It goes on fabulously over Opi and dries quickly. I use an Opi top coat as well.
I use this product to help extend my manicure. I usually get about a week out of a manicure before I need to do something. I stick to neutrals so that chips and cracks are not too noticeable. I add Opi opals and SH diamond on top buys me another week. The combination of the neutral color, the opalescent Opi & SH diamonds deflect light and mask chips, cracks, mistakes. How cool is that?
Like most items in the SH line, the brush could be improved. This product is no exception. I really wish that SH would pay attention to the brush. If they did, this product would be competitive with Opi and 5* all the way. I think I paid $6 for the SH, and I usually pay $1.50 more for Opi. I would pay more for a better brush, and I would probably buy more colors too.

I have three of these polishes. Like most people have said they really do last for a week or more (with base and top coat). They're very pretty and sparkly without huge hard to work with glitter chunks.
The colors are pretty standard but what I like best is the consistency of the polish. Its a little on the runny side so you can put on thin coats that dry pretty fast and it's hard to screw up and create a chunky goopy mess. I really like the packaging and the size of the brush and handle. It's very easy to maneuver the brush.
Depending on the color you may need a 3rd coat since some of them are quite sheer.

This has to be the best polish I've ever used. They carry pretty colors, great shine, and last soo much longer then any other polish (at least a week), and that's what is most important to me because I don't like painting my nails every 2 days. I was very impressed and I don't think I'm going to buy OPI or Essie ever again since I've found this, way cheaper and better quality!

I have this in Honeymoon Red and Fuschia Bling Bling. The colors aren't anything extraordinary but they last. At least 5 days and I'm rough on my hands. I think I got them at Walmart on sale for $3.00. Would like to try other colors.

Sally Hansen's Diamond Strength No Chip Nail Color comes in the usual variety of finishes - not just boring pink which used to be a lot of any SH line. They come in the cutest packaging (IMO) with a very easy to grip curved handle. (The bottle even has a little "diamond" embedded in it!) I find the quality and wear time are very good. I get six days with no chipping or crazing; however, I do use Seche Vite over it to prevent that. The brush seems a little longer than usual but I didn't have any problem with it. I had no problems with tip pulling or cuticle pooling. The drying time is a little slower than usual without SV but not unbearably so. All in all, I think this is a great line of polishes and is my second-favorite SH polish (right below the old Salon line in the square bottle).
