These are by far my fave shadows--don't crease, great pigments, great application with or without a primer--the value is awesome (mostly get them at drugstores with buy one/get one half-off), and I have these in tons of colors--the sterling rose is one of my basics and the basic nudes, too--no fallout--they are better than the MAC ones that I so love.....

i think this is a wear for everyday working look. it is non shimmery and satin like, which is very subtle as the pink (2nd bar) doesn't show up at all. But blending it with first (beige light brown) and third light grey bar the results look pretty. I tried with ELF primer and wore exactly 12 hours today. yes only the third bar stays for 12 hours. Other colours disappeared to nowhere. thus it is a safe bet for work cos it does stay though not perfectly. not gonna purchase it again as i prefer somthing more pigmented.

Yes the colours are lovely but they are not very pigmented. The formulation is just okay but can be a bit chalky. No problems with fallout.

Only the bluish colour actually lasts all day (I've had it on since 8am this morning and it's the only colour still remaining at 11pm). The pink champagne colour is nice but doesn't show up very well and disappears very quickly. The beige colour lasts a little bit longer. Both look quite shimmery in the pan but not as much on my eyelid. I use the charcoaly-black with a flat brush along the lash line and that lasts about 5 hours.

Don't know if I'd buy it again. Not all the colours live up to the 12 hours claim.

I have used this product since high school. The colors are fantastic. All of their palettes are gorgeous and the colors blend very well together. It is small, compact and easy to apply. However, I do not think that it holds up to its 12 hour promise. I have had to reapply my shadow once throughout the day sometimes (all depends if I am using a primer or not. I wear e.l.f. eye shadow primer). If wearing with primer, it will stay all day and I won't have to reapply.

I LOVE this eyeshadow quad! I got it as a gift and I totally love it. The colours are so beautiful, I love the colour combination, very elegant and classy. The darkest colour is more of a charcoal dark grey than a true black, it's very nice. All the colours are quite pigmented and go together extremely nicely.

This product isnt highly pigmented and can be a bit chalky if not applied right. Its easy to apply and the combination they give in the pan makes it a no brainer even for smokey eyes! Good buy but it lasts so long i wont have to repurchacse for a while. A bit pricey for a drugstore brand

I really dont see why this product doesn't have better reviews. I have literally used this for months now and have NEVER ONCE had to use my UDPP or any primer for that matter INCLUDING concealer. With the oiliest lids ever, it still stuck on better than any MAC (which you always need a primer for by the way), Sephora or High end product out there. The colors are so pretty and long lasting I was super impressed. I think this is a great by and people should really give this a shot.

I bought this after reading so many good reviews about it but I wish I didn't get carried away lol. The colors are not highly pigmented which means you really need a good eyeshadow primer. Believe it or not the $1 eyeshadows from E.L.F. are more pigmented in my opinion. The product claims that it will stay put for 12 hours without creasing or smudging. ehhh I don't know about that! I wore mine with cream eyeshadow as a base and I noticed some creasing after about 5 hours. I don't know which one is the culprit. I didn't like the texture either, I think it was a bit chalky. Expect some fall offs when you apply the e/s. I will still use the quad but I definitely won't be repurchasing. There are so many better drugstore eyeshadows out there.

I am in love with this! I use dark grey color as eyebrow powder and works great and last long. Mainly I use as this purpose. For Other colors, I use them as highlighter and reg. eyeshadow.

I picked up two Revlon Colorstay quads yesterday at Target, I had never tried them before. I got this one and "Sandstorm." I wore this one for the first time today and I was really impressed. I wore it over UDPP and the shadows went on smoothly and were very blendable. The finish isn't as shimmery as it looks in the pan, it is really a satin. For a softly smoky work look, here's how I wore it: silver on lid, taupey brown in crease, light pink on browbone and inner corners, and the black smudged softly with an eyeliner brush over my Urban Decay "Zero" eyeliner on top lashes only. Then I ran the taupey brown under my lower lash line. It really looks very soft and pretty, and I can see myself using this every day for a no brainer, soft and romantic sort of look. It was definitely $5 well spent, and I can see myself getting more of these quads; though as others have said, the packaging is maybe a little lackluster. But for the price, that's definitely not a deal breaker for me. I look forward to trying out "Sandstorm" next, I really think that these quads come in a lot of great color combinations.

These eye shadows are not that pigmented. But I don't mind. Sometimes I get tired of such bright or dark colors & want some sheer shadows.
I love the dark black color, it's sheer but buildable. The others have less color and are more shimmery. The colors show up better with bases.
I don't use this often, but I like having it as an option. I don't know if I'd buy again... I do want to try different quads!

These eyeshadows are not intensely pigmented, but that is what I like about them. They are easy to grab when you want a natural, flattering look in no time. All of the combination are very complimentary together, and they go on evenly, softly, and look very flattering. It's hard to mess up with these.

Sterling Rose is a lovely color combination that can be used to achieve a soft, work-appropriate smokey eye. All of the colors have a nice satin finish that is glow-y without being shimmer. They blend nicely together and last throughout the day. This is one of my go-to products for day-to-day.

Zero color pay-off for me... kept piling it on with no change in results. Love Revlon - dislike this eyeshadow.

worst eyeshadow quad ever!!! the colors looked so pretty in the pan but, they don't have any color pay off. I tried to use it a few times but, i got close to nothing out of it. I actually threw this away this morning. Completely useless except for the free e/l i got with it.

I have been using Revlon eyeshadow for years. I am really happy with Colorstay 12-hour ES Quad. The Sterling Rose colours are fantastic. You can achieve a really sexy smoky eye look. I also use the dark brown as an eyebrow powder. It matches perfectly with my cool medium brown hair. It has fantastic staying power also. It always looks like it's been newly applied. I don't have any problems with it creasing on my lids either.

I usually buy high end expensive eyeshawdows, but I have been venturing more and more into the less expensive drugstore brand make-up and I can say that expensive definitely doesn't always mean better. I like this eyeshadow palette by Revlon quite a bit. The colors really compliment each other and blend together really nice. I wasn't expecting to like the lighter gray color because cool grays aren't really complimentary to my eye color but when I put this color on I was surprised to see that it isn't actually a true gray, it's more of a lilac gray which is very flattering to brown eyes. The colors aren't heavily pigmented but they are pigmented enough to show up nicely and to wear for daytime hours. I find I can make a nice soft smokey daytime look with this palettel. The colors don't last for 12 hours, but I even like the way it wears off, doesn't smear or crease it just gets softer. This is one of the cheaper eyeshadows that I'm very pleased with.

These are some smooth and easy to blend shadows, I wouldn`t really say this is an everyday palette but it`s a good palette for when you want to go a bit more than neutrals. The shadows have ok pigmentation and are a bit sheer, they last for a good while and don`t crease on me. The last colour was a bit misleading to me, I though it would be really dark grey but it was more of a brown grey but nonetheless I still like this palette.
Overall it`s a good product that I would reccomend to people but it is really expensive for a DS product at $15 Canadian with ok shadows and not so durable packaging.

I love this quad! I bought it because I had thought the last color was black but when I applied to my lids, it was more of a very deep brown? I dont know. Anyway, this quad made for a great smoky eye on my dark brown eyes. The colors blended so easily and they lasted for hours without creasing, especially on my oily eyelids...I will definitely buy this again.

These aren't the most pigmented shadows in the world, but I do find them to be smooth and they blend easily. I reach for this on a day when I am looking for a quick and easy kinda smokey eye. I really like the taupey brown color and the gray.
