This is the best neutral gloss I've tried. Its smooth and applies a sheer plumy/brown color to the lips. LOVE IT!

I never really was one to be interested in Stila Lipglazes. I just feel they're WAY too pricey for what seems to be so little product. I received this color as an extra from a very sweet and generous swap partner and actually ended up liking it a lot.
It's a lovely neutral glaze with slight hints of brown to it, gives my highly pigmented lips a very nice nude tint. I could do without the mocha scent, but it doesn't really bother me that much.
I still feel some reservations about the cost of the item though. Stila products in general have always seemed just a little bit overpriced to me. If you were to add another $4-$6 you could buy a Chanel, Guerlain, Givenchy or YSL gloss. TOTAL no-brainer. I'm not too crazy about the packaging either. I had to sit there and turn the handle for a good 2-3 minutes before my first use to get any product to come out at all. It's also kind of annoying to try and get the desired amount of gloss out of this contraption. So yes, if I were to want to buy one of these, this would be the color. But would that be likely? Probably not.

This is one of my fav lip glosses for a nude look. It looks perfect with my caramel skin. My lips are naturally a deep pink and this gives me a perfect nude lip without making me look washed out. It looks great over so many lipstick colours too - bronze, plum, brown, but I prefer wearing it on its own. I find the lasting power to be quite good, obviously needs to be touched up after eating or drinking. I know a lot of people complain about the click pen applicator but I like it. 3 clicks gives me the perfect amount. The only thing I don't like about it is that you don't get all the product out towards the end, but I guess that's the same for most glosses unless the come in a pot. Looks beautiful, smells yummy and since I'm on my 2nd one, I will definitely repurchase.

This is expensive, which is why I wouldn't repurchase. . The color is very natural, with a hint of brown. The smell is really strong, but yummy. lasting power is great, and its also moisturizing

I don't know why I didn't write a review on this product sooner. I just bought my third "tube" or whatever you want to call it, of Mocha. I use this gloss EVERDAY! A salesperson at Sephora turned me on to this color. I wanted the lip look Tyra Banks wears on her talk show. After so many pink lipstick and gloss combinations, I could never get it neutral enough, always too pinky. Now I wear Mocha over my MAC lipstick, Hug Me, with a brown lipliner. I LOVE this look. I recommend this gloss for every girl of color. The only problem I have is the packaging. It's not practical as far as getting all of the product you paid for.

I own a ton of lip glazes, and this color is a nice, everyday staple. Without lipstick, it gives you a mlbb look; I have pigmented lips, so on another person it might be more of a nude color. There isn't shimmer or anything very exciting about it, so you might pass over it in favor of something like Brown Sugar, but to me, Mocha is a very pretty neutral you could just throw on. The consistency is typical of Stila, thick, glossy. Mocha is kind of a deeper Praline, and I love it.

This lipcolor is excellent on my pigmented lips, is not drying or too sticky/tacky either. It lost 1 lippie for the poor packaging design (which Stila must be aware of considering how extensively folks here gave complained about it and how many years back those comments go).. if you don't listen to the clicks properly, you will end up with the ooze all over. Prior, I used Cargo lipgloss duo in the neat little can, but it's not easy to apply quickly since you need a brush. The price is higher than usual for the quantity of product, but I'll pass it since I really have not found another comparable (Mac - cher or Rimmel - cheap).

I love Stila lip glazes (apart for the stupid click pen packaging). They look beautiful on and make my lips look luscious and groomed without being "look at me, I'm wearing lip gloss". Mocha (and the name should have given me a clue here) is simply a light brown. No shimmer or depth to it. If you're into brown lips, go for it, otherwise I think it's a bit blah. There are colours like Cinnamon and Praline in the range that are a similar shade but look much prettier on.

this is a great shade for my pigmented lips. Many of the other lipglazes look too contrasting with the natural color of my lips. It's a MLBB shade. Yay

I got this one last week and I am in love. I am pretty sure I found my favourite lip gloss. I thought it was going to smell stronger but doesn't and isn't that bad at all. The colour is divine and I really find the click method with brush rather nice. Pity I can't find Stila products where I live but I can always order more overseas because it's definitely worth it. I am crossing my fingers hoping Stila will have their products in The Netherlands soon (please!).
I am defintely happy with it!

I was really surprised that I liked this as much as I do. It looks too cool for my nc25 skintone in the package, but on it is a great MLBB shade. It leans a little towards a nude look when I use it w/ the mocha glaze liner. I paired it w/ the rain showers trio and really like it. The smell is kinda yucky to me, but it wears off pretty fast, so it doesn't prevent me from using it.

I love it!
Mocha is a gorg colour. I thought i would hate it - that it would be too muddy .. but it makes my relatively pigmented lips glossy and nice.
I have NC30 skin and most glosses look clear.
This is the first lip glaze that i am scared of running out of!!
Definate re-purchase.

Mocha is one of the new shades released in Fall 2004. It is a medium pinkish brown that is a perfect YLBB shade on my pigmented lips. No shimmer, just very glossy and healthy looking. Scent is true-to-life, a hint of a plasticky note, but it's neither cloying nor annoying. There isn't much more to say than that! Love the new, larger size, even if I don't especially love the click-pen style.
