This is the first review I ever did on an eyeshadow. I never really wore any because I never knew how to apply it. I finally invested in some Bobbi Brown and MAC eyeshadows. Cement is my favorite. It really flatters my green eyes. I wear it with Bone all over and Cement in the crease. It does not look like much in the pan and I think it warms up when applied on my eyes. I wish i bought it sooner. I think Bobbi Brown eyeshadows look different when applied on the eyes. You really need to try them on to see what they look like and not trust the swatches or what they look like in the pan. There are several that look the same but are all different when worn. Cement, Taupe and Sable are the most flattering for green eyes that I have ever worn. I would keep repurchasing these eyeshadows.

I am cool and light toned, with greyish green eyes (MAC NW15) and Cement is the perfect neutral shadow for me. It has enough pigment to show up in a subtle way, it is very finely milled and blendable, and the right shade of light taupe - a mix of beige and grey that is leaning toward cool. It makes my eyes stand out, wears all day and pairs well with many other eye shadows I own. I use it all over my lower lid and in the crease for day. For evening I usually add a deeper shade in the crease, Slate, Flint or Sable are pairiings I frequently use to add more definition. A true staple, I use it almost daily. Retails for $21 and you get a lot of product, worth every penny in my opinion and a definite repurchase once I run out.

A must-have essential for me. NW20, dark brown hair, dark brown eyes. Very flattering and just enough color to make things interesting for neutral eyes.

Im very fair and my brows are barely there. Iv been looking for a brow colour for ages. Got recommended cement because it's cooler toned with a bit of an ashy finish. I apply it with either the BB brow brush or the napoleon fine angled brush. I also use it as an eye liner. It's just the perfect colour for me. Sets all my features off really nicely :) tad expensive, but doesn't crumble, really pigmented and will last a long time.

Cement is a medium greyish taupe brown. It is the perfect contouring color for fair skin. I especially love it because there is no red in it. So many medium browns have red and make me look like I have allergies (or have just been crying). This is a staple.

Me: Asian w yellow undertones (MAC NC30 or BB Natural Tan-I do go up a shade in foundation to add some color to my face).
Cement is right in between BB Wheat (too light) and taupe (too warm) and is the perfect MLBB look. It subtly and softly adds depth to my crease but doesn't look like I have eyeshadow on. It looks cool in the pan but shows up with more warmth. It does remind me of the color of cement.
The only con is the price-$21 (just raised price from $20) is a bit much for a product that isn't better than other HE shadows that cost less. I put "no" for repurchase because I rarely buy the same eyeshadow twice and seldom use up a shadow anyway.

If I could only have one eye shadow color, this would be it.

A good neutral matte colour for brown eyes. I normally use it in the eye crease but happily use it over the eyelid and crease. Its one of those colours that looks like chalky nothingness in the pan but is great for subtley contouring the eye. There is so much in the pot that I doubt I will have to buy again in my lifetime.

My favorite Bobbi Brown eyeshadow because finally, finally after years of searching I have found the perfect color to define my brows. I loved Bobbi's matte shadows before trying this shade. I have fair skin with medium brown hair and pale greyish brown eyebrows. This eyeshadow (with that creamy, smooth, long lasting consistency her shadows have) is a light, slightly warm, greyish brown. Every other brown shadow I tried was just too warm or too dark and recently while reading a beauty blog I saw that an SA at a Nordstrom's used this shade on a blonde client's eyebrows. Perfect. I apply the product so lightly and it always lasts until I wash it off. I have to say I don't like the cheap pans Bobbi's shadows come in though.

Cement is one of my favorite BB matte eyeshadows, and it has a permanent home in my six-well palette. It is a "greige" matte powder shadow (slightly more beige than grey) that leans to the far neutral side of cool and provides subtle contouring. It lasts all day without creasing or making my lids look parched, as some shadows with talc can do. It looks pretty on its own, but it pairs perfectly with Bobbi Brown Grey or Slate in the crease. I also like to wear it over the Cement Long-wear Cream Eyeshadow.
Cement is the ideal shade for those days when I don't want to think too hard about a look or even what clothes I choose, but I still want my face to look polished. Like me but better. Cement is one of those neutrals that goes with everything in my closet and vanity (tops, scarves, hats, blush, and lipstick colors), and it complements my fair, cool-neutral skin with blue-green-grey eyes. I think it would probably flatter most skin tones that do not lean too warm or dark -- where it might appear ashen.
It is a great way to create a weekend look that isn't too "done." On Saturdays, I often have a Bobbi Brown day where I wear Cement on the lids over a Navajo wash, poke Caviar or Black Mauve Shimmer Gel Eyeliner into my lash line, apply Grey eyeshadow to my brows, dab on a little Rose Petal on my lips, and I look as appropriate for a trip to the farmer's market as I do for lunch with a friend. HG staple. I am actually on my second pan, and that says a lot for fickle me.

Matte grey-taupe. Light to medium on the depth scale. Not chalky, goes on silky. Great for a no-brainer "no makeup" or understated office look, paired with Bone, or Navajo matte in the Basics palette. I like to line upper lids with either Mahogany (dark brown) or Smoke ("washed" black). Pigmentation is a little lacking in Cement however, it is quite sheer. I don't think this would show up at all on darker skin tones (I'm 20 Clair in Chanel and between 10 and 20 in Dior).

I am very much surprised at how much I love this shadow. Whenever I want to do a flattering nude or neutral eye look, I reach for Cement. The color is very hard to describe. It seems to be warm and cool at the same time. It is grey and taupe all at once. While it is matte, it is not chalky. It has a very nice finish and blends beautifully. The color really makes my hazel green eyes stand out. Cement is not a flashy or exciting shadow, but I wouldn't call it boring. It's a high quality basic that has earned a special place in my makeup drawer.

Lovely eyeshadow, i bought this on a whim, in a trio pallette i made myself, with the other two shadows being - bone and espresso, the SA helped pick them all out, as i said i wanted a very natural set of shadows, with no shimmer or glitter (a lot of my mac shadows are shimmery, so i wanted a change)... i also bought apricot blush... LOVE! - but yes... this shadow is lovely, shows up as a taupy grey brown colour on my ivory skin... and with espresso in the crease and bone as the highlight, it provides for a very natural, sexy, classy look. Highly recommend!!!

This is a very natural color for daytime and casual looks. I have blue eyes and
this is very neutral with just a hint of gray. Makes my eye color pop for some
reason. I am a light medium skin tone with warm undertones. It just
slightly shows up on me, so if your skin is darker or you like a dramatic
eye, this might not be for you.
It wears all day and never creases as I use it in and slightly above the crease,
blending it outward. This is so natural and is what I have been looking for.
My older eye area can't take dramatic colors anymore.
I will be purchasing again, although this little pot will probably last forever!

This is a midtone colour. It works well as a crease colour. I used this just above my crease to contour my eyes (so that they look a lot more deep set than they are). Then I use a lighter colour on my lids (I used BB Heather e/s). I hated Heather before but now I don't since I actually know what to do with it.Anyways Cement is also a great lid colour and I apply sable, and expresso in the outer corner and blend them. It gives a subtle smokey eye. This colour would be a great buy because its so versatile..

I got this in a swap 3 years ago and never used it. Or, if I did, I thought it sucked and never used it a 2nd time. Mine is in a split pan with another daker color (smoke?). I was in a hurry the other day and pulled it out of my makeup box by accident. Didnt have time to toss it back in and find another that I use all the time ... and so I put it on. LOVED IT. Great neutral, looks great on my PPP skin with blond hair and green eyes. A natural but not flat look - it gives good depth to my eyes and plays well with my Bobbi Brown blush. I can't believe I've had it this entire time and completely ignored it (well I guess I can - I do think it looks blegh in the pan). I've used it everyday since then - so excited to have found it

I have always really liked this color. Originally, this came in an eye & lip palette and I used it in the crease. Now I primarily wear it on my lower lid and use chocolate in the crease. It's a beautiful yaupe-y shade that is very versatile.

This is my all time favorite Bobbi Brown shadow. The color is classic ~ a soft grey taupe that is simply elegant on the lid. You can dress it up with an eggplant shade for the crease or add to a natural day look with her Grey shadow in the crease.
I love this shadow.

My first Bobbi Brown eyeshadow, I have it in a split pan with Mahogany. This is my go-to shadow for a quick, natural look that is better than REALLY natural. What I've found with the BB eyeshadows is that they are subtle and classy. I plan to buy this in the long wear when I use up the regular-better for me with my long shifts.

Cement, described on the website as grey beige, is more grey than beige. To me, it looks gorgeous in the container. And to me, it looks quite gorgeous when applied, only much lighter. As with all of Bobbi's shadows, it has warmth. I like it very much as a lid color.
