I actually love this mascara. I love the comb and of all the drugstore brands I've tried, this actually volumized my lashes. What I loved was that even though it's not waterproof, unless I literally dunked my head in some water, it lasted through tears and sweat without running. It does flake a bit but of the mascaras I've tried that don't flake, they've had other problems, so it doesn't bother me. I'm having a hard time finding this nowadays though.

I was very disappointed, and kind of sad Rimmel was responsible for such a product. It flaked and clumped like you would not believe. Skip this and go for Glam Eyes or Revlon Beyond Natural.

THIS is what gave me faith in the "one coat" of mascara...b/c it actually did something for me in one coat! Love it...it was only like 3 bucks so it didn't bnother me it dried so quick. Since they don't make it anymore i kept the wand to dip in other mascaras ha!

Possibly the worst mascara I have ever used. It made my lashes into three large clumps. It also dried up very quickly and crusted off all over my face. When buying this I thought it would reduce clumps because of the comb but now I realize it just makes them worse. Thank God I only spent a dollar on this! Don't buy it.

The Bad: This mascara (in brown) makes my eyes water and itch for some reason. It also doesn't stay on my lashes and I get smudges on my lower eye area. It clumps so easily!! The brush is responsible for it, i think. It just doesn't look like it's designed to seperate/define lashes like the Maybelline's Define-a-Lash wand.
The Good: I like the color, it has that deep chocolate brown...it's pretty pigmented. It did curl up my lashes a tiny bit without having to use an eye lash curler (not by much but even a little is great for my straight asian lashes).
I wouldn't buy this again.

Hated it at first, but now I love it! Really adds volume and the wand is like a comb - not a traditional brush.

there was volume but it made my lashes so utterly clumpy even after i used a lash comb. i usually don't mind clumps since they make my lashes look fuller but this stuck my lashes into little spikes every time i wore it. i used it for a couple months but decided to buy another one before this was done.

This is on my list of top favorite mascaras. It makes your lashes big and long and look fake and thats the way I like it. If you like them natural then too bad. Other girls have said they blink onto the wand and thats what I do too. Not just with this mascara I've been doing that since I started wearing makeup. It works. I finished my second tube of it and I haven't been able to find anymore! I'm really sad! I got some Rimmel Lash Maxxx and it sucks. I really hope they're not replacing Volumeyes with Lash Maxxx.

FYI, I got this mascara in the WATERPROOF version.
Not a very good mascara. It does lengthen and thicken a bit, but it weighs down the curl of my full but fine medium-length lashes every time. I don't like the brush - there are too few bristles on it - which means it doesn't separate and define each lash very well. I always look like my lashes are sticking together when I use this. My lashes end up looking fewer, even AFTER I have combed it through with an eyelash comb. I hate it. It is clumpy. The formula takes a bit long to dry too. A bit exasperating. But once it dries, it really is smudgeproof/waterproof. Not worth the money it costs. I'd buy Maybelline's Sky High Curves mascara over this one any day.

THIS stuff is mascara heaven once you master using it. I agree with another user, I blink into the wand, and then start to blend and apply the rest. It makes my lashes look way big and like other reviewers said, pretty close to false lashes. This isn't for everyone, but I definitely am all about the eyes and long thick looking lashes. I got this for $1 at Big Lots. Be patient and practice it a few times, and you will be pleasantly surprised. **UPDATE** 12/11/07. I can't find this anywhere, but I also tried the Rimmel Extra Super Lash, and that is my main mascara at the moment. It works very well. Well done Rimmel for at least a few of their mascaras

You have to be really careful with this, one mistake and you have clumpy mascara all over your face. But, if you have an eyelash comb and you get it to not clump everywhere, it looks awesome.

I've found that if you get rid of the excess product on the comb that it helps with the application process. It also helps to have a mascara comb to run through your lashes after applying. It's these extra steps that really make a difference. My lashes look long and lush. No clumping or flaking. The formula had good staying power, no dark circles under my eyes.

This is the worst mascara I've ever tried. I bought it because I thought the comb would be easier to use than a regular mascara wand, but I was wrong. It makes my eyelashes so clumpy that it looks like I only have three huge lashes. It's so messy and takes forever to dry. It get black spots of mascara all over my eyelids when I use this and it's so hard to wash off. I'll never buy this again.

I decided to try this because it was BOGOF, and I really love their Extra Super Lash mascara. This stuff is not nearly as good. It works okay but it's kind of clumpy. I'm sticking to ESL which is a bargain you should not pass up.
Age: 18 & Under Skin: Combination Hair: Brunette Eyes: Brown
Probably wouldn't have bought this if it was on sale, but I'm really glad I did. I don't have any problems with clumping, makes my lashes look great it just takes a little bit of practice to get the right technique.

Sigh...once again, I thought that Rimmel might be able to make a good mascara. Once again, I was wrong. First off, I love comb mascaras. This is not a comb, it's a butterknife. The wand is almost flat, I don't understand how people can apply this. Secondly, the mascara itself is very runny and doesn't dry. Hopefully I won't be dumb enough to get suckered into buying another Rimmel mascara just because it's on sale.

Would I buy this again? Yes, yes, and yes...I think this is the only product I have actually repurchased multiple times. Not for those who want well-defined, natural-looking lashes, I love the crazy volume and little bit of clumpage this gives. Just found a new tube I had forgotten about in my makeup case...totally made my day since my other tube was old and flaky and gross. Closest thing I've found to the false-lash effect. HG, definitely.

I love this mascara! I've tried others in the past even expensive ones from the department stores but this mascara somehow works for me. I understand it's not for everyone but I do love it and will continue to buy it.

Tried this because it was cheaper than the Revlon mascara I usually get. Next time I'm paying the extra money though. This did nothing except clump my lashes together. Additionally, about halfway through the day it would dry out and only flaked everywhere when i tried to fix the mess. When I took it off at the end of the day, the stuff wouldn't budge, and took several of my eyelashes with it. The comb applicator is the product's only redeeming factor--it's a neat idea, but doesn't work in this case.

A tube full of clumpy crap.
