Seriously underrated shade!!
Price: $15 CAD
Colour: pure dark copper
Finish: pearlescent with golden sheen; slightly metallic
Pigmentation: medium to full
In a very short time, it's become my all time fave colour! It's so versatile and wearable! I lice wearing this in the crease with any warm colours on the lid. <3
Age: 19-24 Skin: Combination, Fair-Medium Hair: Black Eyes: Green
I just received this today, it's my first Mac eyeshadow and I've wanted it for SO long. I've seen reviews about how great it is for any eye color especially green (it's the opposite of red on the color wheel). It's the most gorgeous red-brown with shimmer. In the pan I saw it and thought 'oh god, will I regret this?' it's quite intimidating and I even swatted it and thought that it looked alot like Rust by NYX. When I applied it it just seemed to make my eyes brighter, sexier and I LOOOOVED the effect.
I've heard it's quite similar to Glamour Check by MAC which was a limited edition eyeshadow, (dupe for that would be shimmering sienna by Revlon) and I find Antiqued has alot more red while Glamour check is brown with reddish shimmer. I apply this all over the eye and lower lash line, with any kind of brown in the crease.
I can't believe how much I love this eyeshadow!! Anyone and everyone should have a color like this, unless you're quite fair then I can imagine it being stark.

Loooove this color. I love pairing with MAC Amber Lights for a sort of "firey" eye— Amber Lights (an orangey color, if you aren't familiar with it!) across the lid and Antiqued in the outer V/crease. Looks very pretty with my blue eyes!
Age: 19-24 Skin: Normal, Dark Hair: Black Eyes: Brown
This is more of a golden copper brown on my NC50 skin. It goes on beautifully,
and can be worm on its own with some brown kohl liner on the waterline and tight line, with a bit of mascara. It's easy to blend with other colours and I'll always have this colour in my palette
EDIT: doing a really quick edit. I wore this yesterday and went out shopping at the makeup counters in Westfield, and so many makeup artist where asking what colour this was and how beautiful it looked. This eyeshadow is the 'ONE' get it!

Went to Mac to look for a copper eye shadow. I had coppering in mind but when I found it, it was much to red. Antiqued was right next to it and it was exactly the coppery shade I was looking for. And then I saw it was veluxe pearl finish.fyuienfNgywkq. Yes. Honestly I've only worn it one way. On the lid and blended into the crease because it creates the most smoldering effect my hazel eyes. This is my favorite Mac shadow so far
Age: 30-35 Skin: Combination, Medium, Warm Hair: Brunette, Straight, Medium Eyes: Hazel
bought this on a whim during my current red-toned e/s phase. It's the most beautiful coppery-red-brown color that looked beautiful as an all-over lid color, smoked out into the crease and lower lashline. I have hazel eyes and this really made the green in them stand out.
Age: 36-43 Skin: Combination, Fair, Neutral Hair: Red Eyes: Green
Gorgeous crease shade that works really well to compliment my green eyes related to the reddish copper undertones. Pigmentation is saturated and blends so smoothly. The finish is Veluxe Pearl that has the perfect amount of fine shimmer without going glittery overboard and obnoxious. The shadow pairs beautifully with many other shades of golds, browns, neutrals, taupes, coppers, pinks, and purples.
Age: 19-24 Skin: Combination, Medium Hair: Brunette Eyes: Hazel
This is the best eyeshadow to get if you have green or hazel eyes. I have hazel eyes and it brings out the green without making me look dead or on drugs like purple eyeshadows do. I pair it with Naked Lunch, which I also use as inner corner highlight and the result is just lovely. It may look very strongly pigmented when you swatch it first, but it can be a little bit hard to get the color in the pan. Still, I'm not dropping any lippies because that could have been difficult to work with.

Dirty penny...that is the color of this eye shadow. It is warm, bronze, and has some red tones to it. It is too warm for me to use it all over my eyelid but I like to use it in my crease with other eye shadows. I have a hard time using this eye shadow alone...but it works well to warm up darker brown or neutral looks that call for a little kick or metallic as well so it serves it's purpose so I guess I would buy it again..

Antiqued is a golden, shimmery brown with obvious copper and red. it reminds me a little of a copper penny but with more red. the shimmer is more of a sheen than a sparkle, and i would class this as dark shadow for my fair medium skintone.
i like to wear this as a crease colour a lot with 'Carbon' in the outer v and a lid colour like MAC Soft & Gentle MSF, Paint Pot in Morning Frost or any other similar shade. i have also found that this looks really good worn with 'Club', because for some reason the copper of Antiqued and the green duochrome of Club just look so lovely together.
this is one of the only eyeshadows i own, that almost always gets a compliment when worn. and the compliments are never directed at the colour straightforwardly, but on how the whole put-together result looks as a whole, which shows what a versatile colour this is.
pigmentation is brilliant as well.
TIP: if you already own it and find it too red/orange, mix it with more taupey/silvery colours to get more of a burgundy!

Very pigmented, looks wonderful with Arena. Brings out my blue eyes.
Age: 25-29 Skin: Combination, Olive, Warm Hair: Brunette, Wavy, Coarse Eyes: Hazel
This colour is a dark brown shimmer with a hint of red to it. On me it doesnt look much different than when I wear Bronze or Mulch, so I dont think this was a good buy for me. I was looking for something more coppery. I have a feeling that this one will just sit in my drawer unused sadly.

LOVE by far my fav. crease colour. all time!
so rich and has an amazing sheen. redish without making u look sick. and has some very beautiful brown undertones. HG ! <3 LOVE!
i pair it with everything, esp. allthatglitters from mac, and woodwinked. I got greenish eyes, and this makes them look even greener, cause of the fact that green is the opossite colour of red on the colour wheel. it will make green eyes stand out. looove simply amazing. and original colour.
Age: 25-29 Skin: Combination, Fair, Neutral Hair: Red, Wavy, Fine Eyes: Green
I expected this shadow to be very different than it actually is. It is very, very difficult for me to apply this shadow -- it doesn't go on as smoothly or as highly pigmented as other MAC colours I've used. For me this one really depends on what else I'm using with it. It can come out very brown or very orange. But it's hard for me to get good coverage with it. I won't repurchase.

I never use this. I know other people love it, but it looks like I'm transfiguring into a red panda or something. I just ordered Nars California, and hope it will be a smoother, warmer copper. Maybe Antiqued is just too cool on me, and I work better with warm colors, because my skin is neutral to warm.
I tried so hard to love this color. I'm so sad that it doesn't work on me. It sits in my "other" make-up bag.

Antiqued is such a beautiful color! i like to wear this shadow for evening looks like if I'm going out for dinner or else, it's a very rich bronze color definitely one of the best eyeshadows in mac! i love it i love it i love it :D
i like to use it on my eyelids and embark on my crease with eyeliner and some lashes! my eyes looks SO sexy and all my friends told me this.
Age: 25-29 Skin: Very Dry, Dark, Cool Hair: Brunette, Relaxed, Coarse Eyes: Brown
This pulls pure copper on my skin tone. Surprisingly I have to pack this color on because it doesn't show up as well as I would like. This is the second Mac shadow I've brought that is hard to apply I don't know if I brought from a bad batch or something but none of my other mac shadows are as hard that I brought a year ago.
Age: 19-24 Skin: Oily Hair: Brunette, Wavy, Medium Eyes: Brown
I love this eyeshadow! I have brown eyes and this compliments them perfectly. I discovered this when I got a makeover at MAC a few years ago and I was nervous when I saw the SA pull this out because I thought it would show up as a bright red. It's a beautiful copper shade and I love using Urban Decay's Sin as a wash and then putting this on. It's a great combination, especially if you use black eyeliner and mascara with it. All brown-eyed girls should have this!
Age: 19-24 Skin: Normal, Fair-Medium Hair: Brunette Eyes: Blue
Love this on my blue eyes it really brings them out. I put this in the crease with Woodwinked on the lid and a brown liner. Loveee!!!
