if you don't like sheer nail polish then don't get this. But I love love this colour. I got it as a swap & fell in love. It's neutral and still makes my nails polished. I use a clear nail polish as a base put 2 coats of passion then finish it off with a clear polish. It's perfect for everyday. I have horrible toe nails and I thought this wouldn't suit well with my toes but it's awesome. Makes my toes nice and clean. It's like a french manicure but without all the fiddly stuff that you have to do. Definitely recommended for someone looking for a natural looking nails.

I have to agree with others, the shade is too sheer, it almost looks like clear polish. I wanted a nude pink shade, and for this polish I have to apply 3 coats every time to show the color, so it ran out really fast. Also unlike other OPI nail polishes that can last for ages, this becomes thick and sticky when there is 1/3 left, and it's almost impossible to apply now. I love OPI, but not this one.

My all time favorite nail polish. Looks great on the toes and fingers. You can use it when you're dressed up and it's muted so it looks great in the office, too. Very wearable, sheer, pinky creamy color. Not too beige, not too pink, not too white.

This is such a beautiful shade but way to sheer. After 4 coats you could still see the nail. This is a really good polish for French manicures. If your the type of person who likes sheer nail varnishes then go ahead grab this one.

Perfect sheer nude/pink. I'm NC25 and this looks perfectly natural on me. I wear it almost everyday, it is very work appropriate. It makes my hands look elegantly polished. I've got many many compliments on this color. Will buy again and again.

if you're looking for that perfect sheer pink, "my nails but better" look, or a pretty base for a french mani, then look no further! this color is very reminiscent of the stereotyped sheer pinks essie is famous for. it's the perfect light-medium neutral sheer baby/pastel pink i was looking for. i used 4 coats to get an opaque finish, but i like painting my nails so i didn't mind. it was pretty opaque on the third coat, but i just wanted to put on a fourth to get the color to match the color in the bottle. it gives off a "squishy jelly" look, and was a little streaky on the first coat, but since it was so sheer, you really couldn't tell. at 4 coats, it looks flawless, almost like gel nails. this is a color i can imagine wearing on my wedding day, and i've been staring at it the whole day today, it just looks so delicate and feminine! it may be my favorite opi nail polish as of now~

Lovely glossy finish, but way too sheer! After four coats, it basically looked to sheer and can still see the tips under my nails if I get the slightest thing under them. The color is slightly to pale and all the coats in the world can't make this opaque. Looks like a shiny version of my nails but not worth all the effort and coats. This would be fine for a french manicure but I would never make the mistake of getting this for an all over color on my nails again. The swatch on the nail at the salon had more pigment and did not match the finished result.

A very "nothing" colour, like nude nails, only more even. It looked a lot more like a sweet pink in the bottle. Two coats to opaque, and still too much like a translucent nude. Other than that, it's pretty much the perfect "nothing" colour for a polished look for photoshoots.

I loved the old Passion. Decided to get a new bottle and was really disappointed upon seeing the new color. Then having researched it learned that OPI changed the formula on several of their light colors. I guess they were responding to comments saying the old colors were too sheer. But the new Passion is a much more blue pink (at least in the bottle. I didn't even open it. Just returned it). The old color was more peachy pink. I wish I could get my hands on some of the old Passion.

this is the PERFECT french mani color. It gives that really clean, polished and pretty look. I am in complete love with this nail polish...it's not yellow, but pretty, the pink is between Light and medium. Perfect on my pale skin...and my boyfriend loves it! :) I will always use this color from now on. The pink is not too subtle, definitely noticeable but not over the top. LOVE!

This is a sheer pink very similar to Bubble Bath (I find it slightly pinker than BB) or even Sweet Heart (I find it a bit sheerer than CC and less milky). I think the people that are frustrated with it are wanting it to be opaque and it's just not designed that way. On its own it's sort of a "your nails but better" with one or two coats. It's also a fabulous base to a French mani because it really pinks out the nail beds, and if you want to do an American mani it's sheer enough to use over the white tips.

I'm not sure if it's because it's a d/c color, but the brush on mine is wider than I'm used to with OPI polishes, and I find that sometimes makes me pack on too much. The formula is pretty OPI standard, chip resistant, all that good stuff.

On the first coat: Colour does not show up. Only shine. Second coat: Detect faint milkyness, but still mostly just shine. Third coat: Starting to see a bit of a bluish white milky cast. Fourth coat: Sheer, uneven white. Looks sickly. Fifth coat: Starting to see a hint of pink, but still a bit sheer and now very thick and globby to the point that it's unwearable.
Trashed, along with every other light coloured OPI polish I've bought so far.

i've been searching high and low for the perfect pale pink polish. i didnt want it to be too overpowering where the polish is noticeable. This polish is PERFECT on my olive complexion. i use about four coats to get the color a pale pink which ends up looking very natural. if your looking for a subtle yet clean look, i recommend this

::pros:: pretty pale/nude pink. makes fingernails look well manicured
::cons:: you have to apply 3-4 coats to get the full color

I LOVE this nail polish!

With one coat it looks almost as a clear polish with a hint of paleness. I apply three coats to achieve a more pale/nude/pink-y color. I think it is a very soft and delicate-looking shade. The formula is a liiiiiitle bit gooey, but not in a way that it's annoying. The brush is just like all OPI's brushes, not very thin, and not too wide, I think it's perfect. On my hands it lasts atleast four to five days, since I use my hands a lot and I spend too much time washing my hair, lol. On my feet it could, easily, last like two weeks! I would definitely buy this again.

This is my new HG nude french pink. It's not a sweet pink but more of a fleshy pink, which looks more natural and grown-up. It could be used as a regular polish if you like sheer polish, but it is definitely not opaque. I do an American mani, so I put my soft white smile on first and then 2 coats of this and it's just enough color to soften the white and make my yellow nailbeds look naturally pink. To avoid streakiness, I use a large bead of polish, hold the brush almost parallel to my nail and try to smooth it on rather that paint it on.

This is my favorite OPI color. It last about a week on my nails and is very natural looking and sheer which I love! It looks a bit pink in the bottle but on the nails I would say it looks more of a peach color. I actually apply one coat of this color over 2 coats of a base coat.

OPI polishes are the best in terms of quality and durability. Not sure if my "Passion" is the old one or the new one - the product number printed underneath the name is NL H19. Anyway, this color is great - being African American, it's very difficult to find a nude shade that isn't too white, making my nails look like they were painted with White-Out. I love this color because you can make it as sheer as you want (1 coat) or as opaque as you want (2-3 coats). Either way, I almost have an American Manicure look when I wear it and it matches my milk chocolate skin tone nicely. Not only that, but I can wear it a solid week with little/no chipping. I'm a consultant and spend 8-10 hrs/day on a computer, so only the strong nail polishes survive! Well worth the price.

I have both the older one and the newer one,
and they both come out amazing.

The older one comes out more paler,
and the newer one just come out more pinker.
Sounds like my review on Bubble Bath right?
WRONG!

The only different is that this comes out almost the same.
Just a little bit pinker.
Just a little.
To the point that when you put them on the same time,
you wouldn't notice the different.

Though....
I prefer the older one better,
But that's just me.
