This product is very expensive. Usually around 15$ a tube. However at my local drugstore they had a buy one get one that was 14.00$ for two. At 7.00 a tube for something that works, I figured I'd give it a shot. I was very pleased to see that although it is called a lip "cream" it is not opaque, and therefore can be worn throughout the day. My lips are indeed soft and smooth after application, and stay that way even when I venture outside in the cold. The only time I need to reapply is when I've eaten or drank something. All in all, would repurchase if the BOGO deal was still on.

Love it. Thank you MUA and everyone who posts things on here - which is why I'm going to start doing the same. This is very useful!

Anyway, to the lip treatment!
It's GREAT! In contrast to many other lip balms I have used (which tend to feel waxy, like they just sit over your lips), Ceralip is like a gel-consistency that isn't oily, just...right.

My lips don't feel completely soft immediately, but they do as the product absorbs itself and my lips are left feeling smooth.

I have this bad habit of biting my lips, so my lips tend to be very chapped/peeling. This has been perfect for them! Strongly recommend :)
I love La Roche Posay and I have many face-products. This is my first lip product but it did not disappoint me at all.

I just bought this yesterday after finding it on sale and I'm really happy with it. I ALWAYS have lip balms stashed everywhere (jackets, bedside, at work, etc) and this is the only one I've tried that feels like it absorbs into my lips instead of just waxing them. Correction - there's a Kiehl's one that I also like but you have to apply it with your finger and that's just not appealing out in public (or while working at my computer). I feel like throwing out all of my cheap balms and getting 2 or 3 more tubes of this, but I'm too cheap to do that. Yet.

I have this product from more then 1year and i use it in all seasons. Some time ago i had the impresion this beeing really good for my lips but now i am sure. This is just a boring- comon lip balm in tube and also expensive.I got this product becouse i think pharmacy brands are more safe in ingredients then the rest. This lip tratament is same like any ceap lipbalm ,not same drying but same bad.
My lips now in winter are peeling, cracking, bleeding really bad looking/feeling.While vaseline did worse, this lip tratament did too little.I have left half tube and i decide to stop using this.I will use my calendula balm, which is the best ever.

I love this for winter when I my lips tend to dry out terribly, cracking, peeling, even bleeding. When they're in that state many lip balms, especially in stick form, are hard to apply and don't seem to absorb at all, but this silky balm glides on and really seems to sink in. I use it mostly at night, or under another product during the day. It does need to be reapplied quite often, so sometimes I add something a bit heavier on top to lock the moisture in.

I have very sensitive and extremely dry lips and after a great deal of research I decided to buy this product. I has such high expectations for this product but I am very disappointed. This product does not last more than 20 minutes on my lips so I have to apply often and it only makes my lips feel softer but does nothing to moisturize and I think cheaper products would do the same. The only positive thing about this product is that I haven't had an allergic reaction to this balm as I have a history of reacting to lip balms. Overall, I dont think that I would repurchase this product.

I purchased this because for quite some time I have been looking for a good lip treatment, I originally went to pick up Vichy's (my favorite skincare line) but they did not have it, I have not seen it in a while so the next best thing was this. Im actually really pleased it instantly transformed my lips, they were smooth very moisturized and had a very nice buttery feel to them. This repair balm is really good especially for dry to very dry lips that need a good treatment, living in NJ where the winter's can get harsh this especially is needed.
I will repurchase even though I spent $15 bucks on it because it's well worth it.

This treatment does nothing for me except leaving a greasy feeling on my lips. At the moment my lips are very dry and Ceralip only gives me the illusion of moisture. Once the product is gone, my lips still feel dry. I will most likely go back to Nivea.

This was not very moisturizing. Mostly prevents my lips from getting drier. It is fragrance free and comes in a tube which is a big plus.

A wonderful lip treatmeant, buttery & melt-on-ur lips consistency. No smell, making it feel like im using a product that existly purely for function. I do find it a little greasy though, so most of the time, it's an overnight lip treatment. Cure chaps with just one night application.

I love this new lip find!
I am very careful with my lips and always keep them well moisturized. Ceraplip is my new favourite lip treatment. I started to feel dryness and it was gone by the end of the day!!!
It is long lasting and doesn't need to be applied often. Well worth the price. Doesn't feel sticky or have any taste.
Very kissable!!

Feels greasy but doesn't moisturize my lips. Even with a layer of it on, my lips still feel dry and uncomfortable. Get Neosporin Overnight instead. Way better and 1/3 of the price.

I've been on Accutane for the past couple months and, for those of you that don't know, without the constant use of lip balm it feels like your lips are going to fall off from dryness. When I first put it on my lips, it felt very hydrating and I was pleased. Then, about 15 minutes later there was no trace of the product left and my lips felt dry again. For the high price, I was disappointed. Even vaseline wasn't doing the trick as it only seals in moisture, so I bought some aquaphor over the counter for $20 a tub out of desperation *sigh*. Aquaphor seals in the moisture like vaseline but also delivers moisture to the skin. Aquaphor will last on your lips for 3-4 hours and they will be supple, except when I would apply at night they would be dry again in the morning. Then I thought maybe the Ceralip only didnt stay on my lips because it actually sank into my lips, unlike most balms. I tried ceralip with some aquaphor over top one night, and when I woke up I still had some balm on my lips after 8 hours! Then I actually got some compliments on the condition of my lips while on Accutane. No chapping, and all of those lines on my lips are gone. I took off a lippie because you have to use a sealant (you could actually use vaseline instead of aquaphor I'll bet), but this product delivers amazing moisture that sinks in and repairs your lips.

On a side note, my tube has started to smell kinda funky after a few months of use. It still works the same, though so I'm not complaining. It may have been because I wore it over lipstick and may have gotten lipstick in to the tube.

Still, GREAT product.

I had high expectation for this product based on the reviews. I was going through a chapped lip period in the dry canadian climate, and hoped this balm would get me through. Unfortunately, it did nothing to improve my lips' condition. Even plain old blistex works better for me. I have also discovered Roc and they make a good lip balm that does work. I am a huge LRP fan and wanted to love this. I can honestly say it did nothing and maybe even caused more chapping. Im going to see if I can return it. Otherwise its $15 dollars wasted.

I bought that in Canada last winter out of despair but honestly, I don't think it does a much better job than any kind of cream/lip balm. Considering the price, I won't repurchase and I'm still not halfway through the tube!

My lips are chronically dry and I think always will be and I've tried practically everything including lip balms, Vaseline, Eucerin Aquaphor etc. The latter two are excellent for night time and Ceralip is equally good. I like the tube, it's very hygienic. Love that this is gentle and unfragranced as I have sensitive skin.
