Age: 19-24   Skin: Combination, Fair-Medium, Warm   Hair: Black, Relaxed, Medium   Eyes: Black

Purchased: Target
Price: $6
Recommend to: Budget, minimal coverage seekers, slight redness/uneven skin tone

I'm now on my second bottle of this. It's now marketed as a BB cream, and it basically works the same way. Same formula. If you're looking for coverage for more than an uneven skin tone or redness - do not buy! I put this on first, under my Clinique matte powder, and it covers up the slight redness in my skin. I can definitely see a difference. It also feels/smells better on my skin than sunscreen, which is a big plus. I don't have to worry about sunscreen on my face anymore. If you have medium or regular skin, then it will most likely be moiturizing enough. I don't have trouble with it unless it's winter.

this was my first tinted moisturizer now packaged as a BB cream although ive heard its the same formula.. this is a rediscovered love of mine at first i didn't know what to expect it gives a light coverage and takes about 5 minutes to set it is great at evening out skin tone but does not cover major blemishes and dark spots so its best to use either a concealer or setting powder for more coverage.. i adore this product its not greasy and with a good setting powder (i use stay matte by rimmel) it lasts about 5-8 hours with minimal fading (i have dry combo skin) if you have dry skin its great, it doesn't stick to my dry patches on my cheeks or around my nose ( like the rimmel and revlon bb cream does) and provides good moisture but i always recommend using a moisturizer before any face product it has a great texture its not too thick or thin blends in nicely and spreada evenly i hae used it with my hands but you dont get alot of coverage that way so i apply it is stipple it on with a stipple brush and blend it out with a buffing brush and it comes out flawless i would definitely recommend this product and will buy again ita also a great product for summer because its light weight and very easy to apply ..LOVE IT!

I absolutely love this tinted moisturizer. Now that I am 22 and am no longer in my teenage "experimental" phase, I want a natural finish that does not look super caked on like the tons of foundation I used to use. I have light skin, but I use light to medium because it blends super nicely and gives me a nice warm touch. It's not the best is you're looking for super coverage, but I apply my almay smart shade concealer over any stubborn areas, and, together, they are the perfect match. I suggest finishing with a loose powder to extend the lasting potential. I have been using this product for about six months now, and I absolutely love it. It lasts all day long; the SPF is great, and I never have an issue with streaking.

I buy this whenever I can find it at Target. It is my favorite TM and I have tried many. Pros: very smooth and light coverage. Does not cake at all. Can slap this on and not worry about it looking patchy. Looks like no makeup in the bright sun. For more coverage I like Boots No 7 TM. But for regular day-to-day this is great.

I have very drk skin prone to redness on my upper cheeks. My sole interest in makeup is to hide what I percieve as flaws, and look good. So I will try both low and high end makeup if there is any chance something will work for me. This was adequate, like many such products in the foundation and/or tm range, just average with no desire to repurchase. It had a decent semi matte finish, little coverage but being a tm I didn't expect much more. I just didn't see any advantage over using this vs bronzer and then spot concealing to even tone.

This was the first tinted moisturizer that I had tried. I picked it up on a whim because I was out and about relaxing at starbucks when I realized that my face was dry and peeling (I had just started using a salicylic acid face wash and spot treatment), so I walked over to the CVS next door and grabbed this up. I applied it in the bathroom and it went on smooth and silky. It was cool and liquidy, and absorbed into the skin slowly, but once it absorbed and dried, it left my skin feeling soft and smooth. By the end of the day my dry patches had diminished and my skin still felt nice. The coverage was very good, it covered all my blemishes and dry patches nicely, and it matched my skin tone perfectly. I was also glad it had SPF. Lasts all day without wearing off or leaving me an oil slick. Made me look moist and fresh. I sometimes add powder over for a more matte look and more sun protection. All in all an excellent TM.

I will never buy this ever again. ZERO COVERAGE. I get it's a tinted moisturizer, but even my former HG Clinique TM had moderate coverage. Age and the dry skin patches that come with it have finally forced me to cease using TM's on a regular basis and start wearing foundations with medium to full coverage. When I put this on my face, it doesn't look like it's any different. I've had it for about a year because I prefer wearing lighter skin makeup in the hot summer months, and I remember that last year I wasn't that impressed, so I gave it another go this summer. It was still a dud. And even if it was dirt cheap, it's still money that I will likely end up throwing away. The only bonus is the tube and the tiny opening makes it easier to control the amount that comes out. And that's all, folks! Not buying this again.

It moisturizes, but that's about it. There is ZERO coverage in this, and even though I don't have acne-prone skin, I still like to use products with some degree of coverage. Also, it smells like sunscreen, and that kind of turns me off. Not impressed, but I'll try to use it up during the summer months.

Amazing!! I love this product. It is incredible. It doesn't cake at all no matter how much I sweat. Covers really smoothly just like the name. Light coverage but pretty good for a tinted moisturizer. Amazingly this makes my skin look more flawless and less oily than my mattifying foundation. Lasts a good 8 hours and lasts even longer with primer and setting powder. Oil-free and doesn't clog pores. Has SPF 15 which is great. More than an average 1 fl oz and matches to my skin perfectly. It's not very buidable which is a bit of a drawback. But it goes on super smoothly and doesn't feel or look like I'm very makeup. Also, it comes in a tube for easier application. I would recommend this to anyone.

Age: 18 & Under   Skin: Acne-prone, Medium   Hair: Brown   Eyes: Hazel

I have never used a foundation or a tinted moisturizer, so this was my first experience with anything containing some sort of color. I was looking for something sheer, but something that made my skin look better and this tinted moisturizer did do the trick. At first I was very very pleased with its outcome and I started wearing it pretty much every day. My skin looked healthy and it glowed, and although it did not cover up imperfections it did reduce them as well as take away redness, so I just wore a concealer under the moisturizer and it was fine. It also did tend to get a little shiny, but I have dry skin so it wasn't really something I worried about.

However, about a month into using this product I started to break out like crazy. It happened pretty much overnight and about 1 and a half months later, no longer using it, I am still trying to reduce the visibility of the scars. Because of the horrible breakout I had to get different acne medication that was more severe. I am not absolutely positive if this moisturizer was what caused the huge breakout, but now that I'm not using it I haven't had a scary breakout like that. It's a shame because I really liked how it made my skin look and feel. Maybe one day I will try it again, but I am much to scared and nervous for my skin to try that anytime soon.

So my advice? If you have acne or acne prone skin, I would steer clear from this and instead pay a bit more for something like clinique.

This is my favorite tinted moisturizer that I have tried. I have tried higher end ones, but they tend to be too yellow for my skin tone. When I wear this, my skin has a really pretty glow to it and it blends in perfectly. During winter months, I typically mix the Light to Medium with some of my moisturizer to lighten it up.

I really like this product and have been using it for more than 10 years! I don't like heavy foundations at all, rarely wear them, but was looking for something light to even out my skin tone and give me sun protection (this has SPF 15). It gives a dewy look to one's skin.

This is a descent tinted moisturizer for little money. It's not as good as the Clinique or Boots I've reviewed here though they are far more expensive. I have to buy this shade and the medium-dark and mix equal parts to get the right shade. It protects w/an SPF 15. It's not too dry nor to heavy, but walks the road right inbetween. It's texture is not as finely milled as the Clinique's and Boots, but it shouldn't be at this price point. It spreads quite evenly with very little need for blending. The appearance it gives the skin is not the most refined, but it does so nicely at this pricepoint. It wears well and seems to adhere to the skin rather efficiently. Add a bit of gel or cream based blush and you've a very natural look. It evens out skin just enough. They have been around for quite some years so CG must sell alot of them as they've not been discontinued. It's one of the most inexpensive tinted moisturizers I'm aware of at this particular performance level. That's saying alot. Highly Recommended..

This tinted moisturizer provides very, very sheer coverage. It's a little drying, probably because it doesn't contain any oil and talc is one of the ingredients, so it's not suitable for my dry skin.

Purchased this on sale for $3 so I got fair to light and light to medium. I am very fair and the fair to light was a little to light but the light to medium was perfect!
I have oily skin so I was a little reluctant to try a a tinted moisturizer and I at first thought this product was great but now not so much. It covers none of my redness or mild acne but I wasn't expecting too much out of it anyway so I'm not heartbroken.
Tinted moisturizers just aren't for my oily, uneven skin.

HG...finally, an spf tm that looks good, feels good, and doesn't cost a fortune.
Not too heavy on the tint, not too sheer. Provides enough moisture and a noticeable improvement for even skin tone without looking masked.
There is a slight sheen, which is expected of spf moisturizers, but I would call it more of a dew or glow versus shine.
Slight scent of sunscreen, but not bad. It just smells clean. I love this stuff...light, cool moisture...great skin primer for powder. This combined with a little pressed powder totally controlled my normally oily tzone without making me feel dried out or cakey.
It's perfect. Totally recommend it.

One of the best DS TM's I've tried so far. All other TMs from the DS make my skin feel very oily and never really settle into my skin. This one has significant coverage, blends smooth into the skin and lasts for quite a while. I normally set this with BObbi Brown Sheer powder for that 'no-make-up, make-up' look.

Also, this has never broken me out which is always a plus.
