It does give good coverage but it's a bit too cakey for me.

nonononono.
just no.
It goes all dry and weird around my nose and chin, separates completely. It does give me decent coverage and is super easy to apply, but it's just not nice. The pots really don't last that long before they go gross and impossible to apply, and I just can't find the right shade for me. All their pale colours are too cold and rosy for my olive skin. The only decent olive colour is nude and that's just bright orange!
hate. do not recommend.

I've tried a lot of foundations from a lot of different brands and I always return to this.
I took a break from this foundation recently and tried using Almay's Clear Complexion and Neutrogena Healthy Skin, but I eventually returned to this. I wanted to find a foundation that was good for my skin since I was having a horrible time managing my acne.

However, nothing gives me a glowing look, matches my skin tone, or provides full coverage throughout the day like this foundation. I have extremely oily and acne prone skin and like having full coverage. This does the job in making my skin look great and it matches my skin's color perfectly!

Pros -
Full coverage, airbrushed look, controls my oily skin, covers my acne, looks soft and glowly, you only need to use a small amount

Cons -
Can get a little cakey if you use too much, you should use with a makeup brush any other method might force you to put too much on and I don't think it looks as good using your fingers or a sponge.

If you don't like this foundation try using their Dream Liquid Mousse. It provides less coverage, but works great! I'll switch back and forth between the two.

This foundation is tricky in so many ways. I have this in the color dark 2 (caramel) it matches me perfect. I tried applying this with a foundation brush and it felt like I was painting. I tried a sponge and the sponge soaked up a lot of the product. I think the best way to apply this is using a stippling brush. I use this foundation when I'm around my boy friend and I want a soft natural look.

Pros:
Comes is a really cute jar I think I will reuse after.
Dries to a matte finish
Last all day especially if set with a powder.
Gives a airbrushed matte look which I love.
No smell.
Decent price could be cheaper.

Cons:
Only has 2 or 3 shades for women of color I think.
Really hard to apply, little flakes roll up and fall off.
I think it breaks me out, I see little white heads forming when I apply this.

Overall I will buy this again that's if I don't find something better.
I wish it had more product in the jar.

This matte mousse made my skin looked orange. Even though the texture was soft and easy to blend, the color turned out horrible. It looked like I had an awful fake sprayed tan on and it did not even last. After wearing it for 3 hours, the actual foundation faded, leaving uneven orange patches on my face.

So, I went to our local pharmacy and picked this up because I was in need for a darker foundation for the following summer months. I chose this one because it said it was good for oily skin- and my skin gets super oily in summer! I opened it, and my face fell- It looked WAY too dark for my skin. Even so, I decided to try it out, and I am so glad I did! It turned out to fit my skin tone perfectly. The texture is very smooth, and I find it's moisturizing on my drier areas (aka, cheeks!) and looked very matte and perfect on my oilier areas (t-zone!). It's long lasting on my skin, and looks great all day. Definitely will buy again!

this texture is very nice smooth like velvet the shade i got was wrong i got nude . if you have yellow undertones its to pink, it glides on nice but if you have acne scars or dry scabs its not good as it clings to them and enhances what you are trying to hide,
maybelline doesnt do very good foundations ive found.

I love the look of this makeup on my face, I have medium skin tone and my skin is super dry and I had no trouble with this product, the reason I said that, people were saying they had dry skin and said it flake on them (0.o what flaked?), I had no problem with that at all, and then I thought to myself did they use primer like your should do to get the best results. There was another comment that read something like "I had trouble use it, the textured was horrible and hard to work with " and I'm like wait......whut (girls sh*t say) and I had no trouble, I just dab my fingers in the mousse and slowly work it on each part of my face and if needed cover the spots you want to hide with extra dabs of the makeup until desired results (I recommend using fingers to apply this foundation instead of a brush or sponge) and all those cakey comments, again 0.o !! What are you doing, globing it on, of you are "No Duh It's CAKEY" it's like when your making a cake you don't just put the ingredients in a bowl and throw it in the oven !! You work it in, to become one all together, same with foundation. So I hope review helps people and help debunk those bad reviews. Last tip if you have oily skin were moisturizer underneath your makeup it goes a long way!!

I really like this product accept it just isn't good for my skin type: I have a really oily t-zone.
It doesn't stay on for very long as the make up sort of slides off my face maybe after about an hour or so. It does appear matte but as I said not for very long. This is a real shame because I love other things about it.

The colour matches my skin perfectly: Sand 030.

The texture is great, I love the way it feels on my fingers (I apply this with my fingers because it blends much better) and spreads very easily, like a "Dream". lol :)

It gives very good coverage - manages to cover up redness and acne without looking fake.

I also love the packaging. If only this stayed on longer and managed my oiliness I would really like this. This is the only mousse foundation that I ever tried so maybe I should try some more because I really loved the texture. :P

Lovely product but as I have oily skin it didn't stay on my skin for the whole day so I was frequently touchng up which would often make my skin look cakey.

It works very well for spot-prone skin as long as your skin doesn't produce a huge amount of oil.

The packaging works perfect for people that use any type of aplication. I commonly used a brush or sponge with it but I know that the few times I was away and forgot either and used my fingers that it works that way too.

I've now swaped over to a product that works better foir my skin type, thats the only reason I wouldn't buy again.

This is my go-to foundation for pale, combination acne-prone skin. It's hard for me to find a foundation that is both pale enough and offers enough coverage (I like fairly heavy coverage due to mild acne). I would definitely recommend putting this on with a sponge, not your fingers- or the application will be streaky. The price is great (around £7 in Boots) and the packaging is fine- although the shape of the jar can make it awkward to get the foundation at the edges out. It also can gather a bit and make dry skin more obvious, but if you exfoliate before you apply it it goes on like a dream. However, it's still the best foundation for my skin- would definitely recommend for anyone who wants medium or heavy coverage.

Okay, so my friend with normal to oily skin had this foundation and it looked great on her. Another of my friends (with normal to dry skin) also had this and it made her look like she was peeling. It looked awful.
The packaging is nice, and the fact it is a mousse makes it attractive to amateur makeup users. As a foundation it is just awful. Alot of people say that it makes them break out, its clumpy and is just impossible to work with. I agree entirely having also tried and tested this product myself.
Steer well away from this is you have dryer skin and I don't think people with normal skin would get on with this either. If you have oily to very oils skin then this may work for you (not sure) but it may clog up your pores making them appear larger. (not good.)
So overall, I would say its a pretty awful foundation and I wont be buying again. Its not exactly cheap either, so you'd be better checking out other foundations that are worth your money.

This made me breakout really badly. It looked extremely cakey and I hardly used much. However, my best friend has used this for years and looks great. I guess it just depends on your skin type but I don't recommend it if you have sensitive skin or are prone to flare ups.

My favorite foundation at the moment. My skin is oily , not so greasy but oily and acne prone and it gives it a perfect matte finish. The coverage is perfect for me and it is long lasting on my skin (without a powder). I like the compact cute packaging and the mousse texture, I apply it on with my finger or a beauty blender. Just perfect, doesn't break me out. I recommend it for girls with oily skin (:

I wasn't very impressed with this product because I found that although it applied nicely and gave good coverage, it made me quite oily after a few hours and it oxidized. This was also an issue with the product in the jar because it changed colour fairly quickly and the consistency became very dry and clumpy.

Waste of money!!!

I found this product made my skin (which isnt dry) look super dry as if id thrown powder on my face. The consistency is a fluffy, yet sticky mousse which is wet but as soon as you dot it on your skin and go to blend it it dries up to a powder. I like the packaging its obviously the right way to pack a mousse as it's not a product that can go in a pump bottle. I found it covered absolutely nothing, i have a slight red mark from a breakout recently and its just as visible after using this. You dont have to use much at all and a little spreads quite well but you end up using heaps to try build coverage which doesnt happen. I found that using this, it did not keep my skin matte at all, and its maybe even worse than Maybelline Fit Me at lasting all day, this mousse is oily in no time and still looks matte-ish but definitely is not when you touch your skin. The price isnt cheap here in New Zealand at $30 a jar. Its not really worth the money when it makes my skin look dry and powdery which covers absolutely nothing whatsoever. I will be going after the Maybelline superstay 24hour and see if this actually does something for me, as this mousse is a waste of money

This foundation was not right for me, it didn't give me enough coverage, looks cakey when put on, is very thick and comes off easily, the slightest touch and you'll get it on your fingers, not very good.

I used to have really dry skin, but now when it's starting to get a lot warmer outside, my skin isn't as dry anymore. That's when I decided to buy this foundation.

It doesn't give a full coverage, which is good for me since I have quite a good skin. Some may find it cakey, especially if you have dry skin, but for me this foundation works very well. It feels super light and soft on my skin.

This foundation lasts for me for over five hours, which is really good of course!

The price is totally reasonable (bought it for about 15 euros) and the packaging is quite good too. Easy to open and small, so it leaves space for the rest of your makeup too! :)

I recommend this product for everyone that DOESN'T have dry skin.
