Okay, so I got a little sample of this after trying LUSH's enzymion moisturizer (which I found too light for my skin). First of all, I have combination skin. I get oily on my forehead and my nose, and dry between my eyebrows and on the sides of my nose - weird, I know. I felt this stuff and it seemed pretty good. Thicker than the other one, maybe a bit thick for day use, but hey, I'm down for a night time moisturizer. So I spray my skin with tea tree water and put this on concentrating on my dry areas and I couldn't believe how nice it felt on my skin. And when mixing it in with the tea tree water I only had to use a tiny amount. I went to bed, hoping for the best and woke up pleasantly surprised! My dry patches make it impossible to put my makeup on without looking flaky, but this stuff fixed everything! I haven't found anything that will calm my problem areas down without making me look like I'm dripping in grease and this stuff did it! It didn't make my forehead gross, and it quenched my skin beautifully. They gave me a pretty generous sample and I've used it every night, and sometimes day time for the rough patches and I'm definitely planning on getting the full size. If anything, it's a great night time moisturizer and not to mention it feels so great and smells amazing. Love this.

ok this is really expensive but lovely moisteriser! i use it as a night cream as it is very heavy so is great for night but not really daytime. its texture is smooth and silky and it does spread lovely and soaks in nice.
the smell, well it smells like porridge but unless u dont like porridge it is a subtle nice scent. i noticed my skin looking more plump since using. overall loved it. :-)

My skin is a mess! I have sensitive and oily skin. I'm almost 40. Some aging. I use a retin product about 3-4 times a week. On other nights I use Clarins Oil (LOVE!), and /or this product. I am starting to worry about chemicals on my skin (I know, I know, RETIN - A??). This is a good, reliable, high quality product. I wish it were slightly less greasy, but that is only a slight complaint as I only ever wear it at night. The scent smells like chalk, BUT I usually react to fragrances, so at least I know this is not a fragrance. I also really like Gorgeous from Lush as well, I would give these both a tie. But yes. I will buy again. And althoug hthe prices is a bit high, I know it's good quality products and that it lasts!
I agree with other posts, I wish this came in a pump.

I have really dry skin and this one is pretty moisturizing, but i hate that it leaves a greasy film on my face. The thing that puts me off most is the scent, it reminds me of horse stables...really not an appealing scent to have on your face.

Wow, love this mosturiser. It's by far the best one I have ever used. I bought it based on the reviews on here and I'm so glad I did. When I went to pay for it I was a bit shocked at the £26 price tag, but it's well worth it. I only use it as a night time cream as it's really heavy, moisturising and you can definately see it's on your face. Having said that it's heavy though, it does not clog your pores, as my skin is oily and I've had no problems with it. I also tried it under a really heavy foundation (Double Wear Maximum Coverage) and it worked well. It sootths skin, make it glowy, and I always feel good in the morning after having had it on at night! The smell took me some getting used to, it's a vanilla scent but I can live with it. I will deffo be repurchasing!

I tried this for the first time last night, and this morning my husband, who famously never notices anything, told me I was looking bright-eyed and bushy-tailed. This was without make-up and before I'd even brushed my hair. So it's a keeper.
It smells a little odd (is it the cocoa butter?), but not chemically so, and the jar container is a downside. But it keeps my face very soft throughout the night and into the morning. Also, I'm usually one to slather on moisturizers and go through them far too quickly, but with this you really do only need a small amount.
Update: After using this for a few weeks, I'm quite fed up with how greasy it is. It feels as though it's sinking in less than it did when I first used it. Maybe that's because it has moisturized my skin so well that I don't need it anymore! But whatever the reason, I no longer look forward to putting it on, and I don't think I will buy it again.

I'm a huge fan of Lush body products so I decided to venture over to their skincare. Primarily the moisturizers. I got a few samples and I'm sticking with Skin's Shangri La. I tried Gorgeous and although I liked it I didn't LOVE it and for $90 I need to be in LOOVEEE!! I do LIKE Skin's Shangri-La and will repurchase. It makes my skin feel very dewy and soft. I got my eyebrow's waxed and the esthetician said my skin felt really soft:)

I really, really like this moisturizer. I have combination skin and often struggle to find a way to get the proper hydration I need to eliminate flaky spots and not have my t-zone look like a mirror. I have found that glorious in-between! It is very gentle and non-irritating, but intensely moisturizing and surprisingly thick upon application. The texture and overall feel of my skin has improved dramatically and I have noticed a significant decrease in the little hyperpigmentation spots that dot my chin after a breakout. I use in the morning after cleansing and it absorbs fairly quickly, leaving my skin supple and glowing. The price, although slightly higher than LUSH's others moisturizers on the market, I can see why it has that extra few bucks thrown on. My skin seems to be improving with every use and I recommend this to anyone (though perhaps not someone with excessively oily skin unless you're using it as a night cream). I plan to switch this to night use once summer rolls around, since I predict it may be a little heavy for the warmer temperature.

Having spent a small fortune in my lifetime seeking a truly good moisturizer, I have found it in Shangri-la. A tiny bit goes a long, long way, as the sales reps will tell you, so that takes away some of the sticker shock. This moisturizer, combined with the Coulour Supplements also makes the best foundation ever -- EVER. No more foundation lying like axle grease on my face, and no more chalky emphasis of pores and dry patches. This stuff is wonderful.

I really like this moisturizer, I have a small size of it. I'm not sure how much the large size if so I can't rate the price.
I use this lotion on my cheeks and nose mostly, that's where I get really dry. If I notice any dry flakiness on my face I'll put this moisturizer on those parts and in the morning they're practically all cleared up. Not noticable at all.
This does have an interesting smell, not bad but it's not something I've smelt before. I can't quite describe it, but I guess it does smell natural.

This moisturizer would be really incredible for dry, aging skin. I am only 24 but was recommended this because of my rosacea. It did a great job of soothing, hydrating, and helping to reduce (but not eliminate) redness. I can't say I would buy it again because of the price. Lush, I love you, but you really need to tone down the outrageous prices of your creams.

My skin got a little dry and crepey over the winter so I wanted something more lurious.
The first night I used it, I woke up with more dewy, radiant skin. The smell is also very pleasant. I was debating about whether to get Shangri La or Gorgeous but the SA had recommended Skin's Shangri La for me since I didn't have uneven skin tone.
I used it for both day and night for the first week but now I've started using it only at night and I use a lighter moisturizer for day. It works well both day and night though!

WOW.
Firstly let me say I have VERY VERY dry skin. I have tried every moisturiser going (well enough inc liz earle, clarins and all the 'big names' as well as small).
It is only after using Lush's Skin's Shangri-la that I don't even need makeup anymore. After just one week, my skin is smooth, even, plump, flawless... and most of all NOT DRY!
I have only been using a sample atm (a little goes a long way) but I will definitely go back and buy it in tubs. I thought the price was a bit steep at first but this ACTUALLY WORKS! Yes, it's true, there is a moisturiser that ACTUALLY WORKS out there!!
I use this in combination with Lush's ultra-bland cleanser and tea tree oil toner. I also just used the oatifix facemask which took another year off me! I will also note that if you have dry skin especially, Lush is the best range to use on your face as it contains all natural ingredients.. and NO alcohol.
Do not waste time on oher moisturisers from 'top' ranges which contain all kinds of rubbish. And trust me, I'm fussy. Looking forward to my skin after a month! I love Lush!!

An excellent moisturizer for maturing, dry skin. It is non-greasy and soaks in well. I use it as a night cream and my skin always feels soft and hydrated in the morning.

Amazing product! Switched to this product after trying out LUSH's Celestial moisturizer. I have always suffered from dry/flaking skin on my forehead, but this product has finally cleared up my face. Does not cause acne for me.
A little on the pricy side, but definitely worth it. Glad I found this product! Definitely a keeper!
I mixed this with LUSH's colour supplement as a tinted moisturizer during the day... works very well together.

My skin has been dry and flaky for weeks and this product did wonders! My cheeks, chin and forehead are usually dry but my nose can get oily; but this product didn't make my nose more oily so I LOVE this product! I use less than a pea-size amount for my entire face and it works great! Any more than that amt makes my face quite greasy.

I'm on my second pot of this and love it. It gives enough moisture to leave my skin soft, but not greasy. The only thing I would say is that you need VERY little of the product. I put the smallest amount on my fingertips, rub may hands together and then pat onto my skin. I think this may be why some people have not got on with it.

I find this to be a very nice product. It moisturizes my skin well, has nice ingredients and smells very good, kind of warm and comforting. Very little goes a long way, if I use too much it feels too greasy on my skin, but with the right amount it just feels comfortable, softening and nourishing. The packaging might be a problem, because I´m a bit afraid to transfer bacteria into the jar while using it. I keep it in the fridge though, because it really lasts very long and I´m afraid that otherwise it could go bad. Until now I used it only as a night treatment, but today my daycream has run out and I will use it twice a day. I´m a bit afraid it could cause impurities because it contains plant butters, but we will see. If it does, I will edit my review.

I got a sample of this a few days ago as I was looking for a moisturizer to address my incredibly flaky and dry winter skin. I've also been having issues on my forehead (kind of like dermatitis, a bit red and itchy/flaky) so I was hoping for two effects from this. I've been using it morning and night for 3 days now and I have to say....I'm cautiously optimistic! It certainly adds moisture and applies like a dream. My skin looks moist (but not too shiny/oily) and my lines are not obvious at all. I've even noticed that the crepey looking skin under my eyes is VERY reduced, in fact I would say that it doesn't look crepey there now. So yes, it has moisturized VERY well and the flakes are all but gone, skin is nicely plumped up and dewy.....but......I'm still waiting to see if any blackheads or pimples are produced. I'm not really acne-prone, but my skin is quite sensitive and some creams in the past have produced rather horrid breakouts. But as I said: so far so good with Shangri-la! All going well, I'll definitely buy a big one as I don't consider it too expensive for the number of good ingredients in there. Will update...
UPDATE: Oh no! This does clog up my forehead and the bridge of my nose and there are pimples forming :( I'm sooooo disappointed because this is moisturising and seems to tick all the other boxes for me. I'm going to keep using it around my eyes though. Just so gutted it's not going to work all over my face.
UPDATE#2: I'm not so sure this was the break out culprit now, so I'm going to give it a 4.
