Love this mascara!!! Iv been using it for years, I have very fine short lashes and although many people say it's clumpy mine is not. Makes my lashes look 10 times better than with other mascaras, couldn't live without it!
Age: 19-24 Skin: Oily, Fair, Cool Hair: Brunette, Curly, Fine Eyes: Green
I bought this before I started using HE brands. It is HORRIBLE. One of the worst I ever used. It clumps on my lashes, flakes after a couple hours, comes out of the tube in messy globs and is almost impossible to get the amount you actually need, and irritates my contacts. You have raccoon eyes almost instantly. I would never recommend this to anyone. You are better off without mascara if this is all you have.
Age: 19-24 Skin: Combination, Fair, Warm Hair: Other, Relaxed, Medium Eyes: Hazel
Very average. It did add some length but it certainly didn't add any volume. I wouldn't bother buying it tbh.
Age: 19-24 Skin: Dry, Fair Hair: Blond Eyes: Brown
my no1 fav mascara i always go back to this 1 i also like the falsies purple maybeline 1 but i think xxl is the best
Age: 19-24 Skin: Combination, Medium Hair: Black Eyes: Brown
I like it, it's not amazing though. I'll just list the pros and cons:
- primer does add extra length
- adds length
- adds a bit of volume
- defines my lashes quite well
- not super wet
- doesn't flake
- gets dry and goops up on the side of the tube opening
- clumps a lot if used with primer
- clumps a bit without primer
- smears onto undereyes (PANDA EYES) if I apply it on lower lashes (mine is not waterproof though)
- can't hold a curl too well

I was recommended to try this mascara. At first I was quite impressed but then I just started to notice that applying the primer and mascara made my lashes look so bad. I looked like I only have a few lashes. It clumped little bit if you apply three coats or more. Tip: apply mascara right after you applied primer, otherwise, it would clump.
Age: 19-24 Skin: Sensitive, Fair, Cool Hair: Red, Wavy, Fine Eyes: Grey
I have long eye lashes naturally, so the main thing I look for in mascara is the brush, and I have to say that the brush on this mascara is absolutely perfect! ( It's the only reason I gave it the rating I did) I actually took the brush from the mascara side and use it with other mascara now that I've used up the original tube, because it works so well for me.
However, I don't like the primer side.. It tends to make your lashes clump really badly. Especially if you wait more than a couple seconds before applying the mascara..
The mascara doesn't flake and it covers well, but you put on a couple coats. It would be my HG if they would just have the mascara and brush stand alone.
Instead I feel ripped off because you get .35 fl of mascara for almost $8... I think it's time for me to find a new brand..

I didn't like this product. It made my lashes clump up~ And it didn't volumize or lengthen my lashes what so ever! And it tends to make my lashes droop down.
Age: 18 & Under Skin: Combination, Fair Hair: Black Eyes: Brown
I used this a lot a couple years ago. It used to be a favorite, but I'm ready to use something new.
-adds a little bit of volume
-curl a little bit
-doesn't clump too much
-kind of greasy texture
-inconvenient two sides
-doesn't coat that well
Age: 25-29 Skin: Combination, Medium, Warm Hair: Brunette, Wavy, Fine Eyes: Brown
Actually this mascara is not too bad. It definitely lengthens my lashes and separates them. I just tried it last night playing around. The only thing I think would be a pain is have to apply two things. I didn't wear it long enough to see if it flakes but thats a no no in my book. Easy to take off with makeup remover.
Age: 19-24 Skin: Sensitive, Fair-Medium, Neutral Hair: Brunette Eyes: Brown
I like this mascara. The primer really helps lengthen my eyelashes. However, I use Maybelline Great Lash Blackest Black now because that's cheaper and works well. I think this was discontinued, but if not, I would probably buy it again.
Age: 19-24 Skin: Acne-prone, Medium Hair: Black Eyes: Brown
-Gives a little bit of volume and length, nothing dramatic
- Doesnt clump
- Not watery and wet, doesnt smudge
- Holds a curl alright, probably cause its not really heavy
- small wand, easy to apply unlike lash blast
- Racoon eyes after a few hours
- 2 step for the same effect as other mascaras = annoying
- weird wand, takes time to get used to
- I found it stings/burns my eyes a little when Im applying it, after its ok.
Im glad I got this for only AU$10 (usualy around $18 I think?). I wouldn't buy it again unless it was like $2 lol. Im going back to lash blast.

Okay so this only has 3 lippies but I'd buy it again. Here's why. The primer is great. I have long lashes but if I don't add length to them they go kind of straight, it's weird. I love the primer but that mascara part is just meh. It's not very good mascara.
PROS: Great primer, makes your lashes longer because of the microfibers in it.
CONS: The mascara part sucks.
OVERALL: I wish I could just buy the primer! I actually think this is discontinued so it may not even matter.

Good News: This is my new HG mascara!
Bad News: I think it's been discontinued?
What a great mascara!! I lost my eyelashes due to illness and they are finally coming back. As they have been growing, I have been spending a small fortune on DS mascara's to find something that will work for me. I finally found it and I LOVE this mascara...
The key is to use the white primer to build volume, and be sure to cover every lash. Do not let the white primer dry and finish up immediately with a LIGHT coat or two of black. Basically, only use enough black to cover the white on your lashes. When I do this, my lashes look so impressive and they are the perfect volume and length. No clumping or smearing. Keep in mind, this is a time consuming process!!! I only use this mascara when I can sit down, apply, comb, apply, comb, brush, etc.
I want to continue to buy this product, but I cannot find it. HELP? Does anyone know where I can find this mascara??

I really like this mascara! I'm surprised with the low rating. I love the white micofiber end! It makes my lashes REALLY long! Then the black top coat makes them nice and thick. I keep going back to the 2 ended mascara's with the white primer. They seem to work the best with me. I don't get much clumping with it and it doesn't flake. I guess maybe some people have to get used to using the white end and thats why they don't like it, but I am so used to using them it only takes me a few seconds to make my lashes look fabulous!!

An average mascara.I don't hate it but i'm not crazy about it either. If you are patient enough to apply it properly you get i pretty nice result.
Application is very important especially in step1.The first white coat needs attention to cover every single tiny lash. Carefull not to apply too much because then the black is not going to cover the white.
The second step (after the first coat is dry) demands also precision so that the lashes will keep separated. If you want to reapply a black coat be sure that the previous one is dry,or else there will be clumps and the lashes will stick together.
Also about the volume and the lenght, i think the effect is more about the length than the volume.
The reason i wouldn't buy it again is cause it needs such a preperation for a nice result which you can have faster with any other mascara. It's a nrmal nice mascara but i can find better
Age: 30-35 Skin: Sensitive, Fair-Medium, Neutral Hair: Black, Straight, Fine Eyes: Brown
The white side is clumpy. Once that goes on, the mascara side doesn't cover it all either. I hated this. You can definitely tell that you are wearing mascara. It's heavy and clumpy when it's new, can you imagine a few weeks later?
Age: 19-24 Skin: Dry, Medium, Cool Hair: Black, Wavy, Fine Eyes: Brown
I was not too impressed with this product. This mascara is alright compared to the other ones out there. When I tried it on it use to clump and flake all the time. For 1 or 2 dollars more you can buy a better one!!!
Age: 19-24 Skin: Combination, Fair-Medium, Cool Hair: Blond, Wavy, Fine Eyes: Hazel
This is the mascara I keep going back to.. I really love it, so I am quite surprised by the low rating it got on here. I have to say, it does take a while to get the hang of the primer/ mascara como, so that may be why some people don't like it. I think the trick is to apply the white microfibers to the tips of lashes only, making sure it doesnt clump, then apply the mascara to the same eye right away.. Don't let the microfiber dry first or it will be a disaster!!
I find that this mascara makes my lashes look so thick and long!! No other mascara has every worked this well for me.

This worked great for a little while and then it stopped. The formula made my lashes limp and weigh it down. When I curled it did not keep the curl.
