Etude House has one of the best nail polish collection ever! The color payoff is impressive, you can find almost any color in all kinds of finishes (glossy, matte, glittery...). The brush is easy to work with so application is gorgeous and with a nice topcoat they can last days. And the best is that they are just around 1 dollar in Korea! The bad thing is that you can't buy them in Europe ><

Im quiet a fan of etude nail polishes,because the colors are great, except the neon ones. I have 2, one of them is the light purple colored with glitter polish, and the other one is the neon colored light pink polish. The first one looks great on my tan skin, but the second one makes my skin look darker. However, i love them. But the only thing i dont like is..... It smells awful and too strong. For those who has sensitive nose, this stuff is not really a good buy :(

I have mixed feelings regarding Etude's nail polishes. They're very inconsistent. Some are very good and some get too thick and hard rather too quickly (inside the bottle). But it is quite decent for its price.

Application is quite smooth, but they chip easily. With two layers, you're actually able to peel off the polish in one swoop if you're good.

Pretty good polish for the price. Easy to apply. 2 coats enough for an even finish. My daughter loves them too :)

I have tried the pale and pastel colors of Etude's nail polish line and I love them! My favorite is this color called Khalua Milk, but at the Etude House store they have numbers for these instead of name colors. Buying them at the Etude House at the local malls will cost me more than $2-3 but they can be found on eBay at just $1.50 (or less). So when I buy, I buy many to save on shipping.
Anyway, I find the pale and skintone colored nail polish from Etude are really lovely. Only one or two coats are needed, they glide on the nails smoothly and dry quickly once applied. Although the polish on my nails lasted only for a week before they start to chip at the ends, the polish on my toes lasted for two weeks (more actually if I didn't change my polish). No chips at all but I had to change them color after two weeks since I could see new unpolished nail growing (doesn't look nice).
So, all in all, what more could you ask for. These nail polish are cheap, quick-drying, lasts long on nails and come in many lovely colors to suit everyone's taste! :)

I love Etude House's nail polish. They're dirt cheap in Korea (less than $1) but is such a quality product and come in really fresh colors. The brush is the perfect size for me and goes on smoothly. The formula is opaque enough that one coat usually does the trick. I love that because I use a base and top coat so it sort of gets thick on its own. I'm always grateful for one less layer. It dries quickly too! Quite honestly, I prefer this over OPI/China Glaze, Essie, etc. as those formulas are so runny and dry a lot slower, in my opinion.

I have 4 different Etude House polish collections.

First is Petite Darling- These come in pretty standard colors, mostly cremes with a few shimmers or duotones. They are really inexpensive but the bottles are rather small but very pretty. They apply nicely. The creme colors that I have tried are opaque and smooth in 2 coats (1 if you are really good!) while the shimmer that I have (light green) takes about 3 to get rid of any VNL. Overall awesome product for the price

There is also the LuciDarling collection- These are a little more exciting color and finish wise. There are glitters, glitter jellies, shimmers, and even foils. The bottle is regular sized but heart shaped with an elongated handle. Super unique and cute. The formula on these is also very good. The glitter jellies are meant to be layered I believe, but the other finishes are opaque within 2-3 coats. This is (IMO) the best collection fro Etude House

Then there is the Darling Nails Bling Bling collection- overall, the cutest bottle. Pretty and swirly and intricate. An art piece in and of itself. The colors in this collection are really neat. There are holo glitters, duoshimmers, and even a smooth scattered holo. The ones that I have from this collection have a pretty good formula. The holo glitter dries a bit rough and needs a few coats of TC to even out but it is definitely worth it.

Finally I also have some of their High Heel Pedicure polish. The bottle for these is the same as the Petite Darling but with a white cap. I believe they all contain a mix of holographic glitter (small and large hex). They only need 1 coat to be opaque but dry rather bumpy so make sure to have a thick TC to even it out.

I've mostly used the Petit Darling polishes - the ones in the smallest bottles. They tend to be a little on the goopy side but I like everything else about it - the surprisingly diverse range of colours and finishes, quick-drying formula and the affordable price. Even the smallish size is perfect for someone like me, who has yet to empty a whole bottle of polish.
One of the creme colours bubbled on me once, but I didn't have the same problem the second time round.
Etude polishes are great IMO if you're looking to experiment with colours and finishes (creme, shimmer, matte, glass flecks, glitter, ...) :)

When in Korea, i's really amused with what i looked at many Korean Cosmetic Shops, they sell many many various products with cute until luxury packaging but come with great price,very affordable(different to my country in Indonesia, korean cosmetic brands are very pricey).
And NAIL POLISH has the greatest affordable price,only cost 1,000 won which is equal to almost 1 dollar(not 1 dollar but almost 1 dollar). This is carzy GOOD. many many nail polishes with many many colors cost only 1,000 won.
I love etude house brand and its nail polishes--->cute, fancy and it's very famous in my country as good and trusted korean cosmetic brand.

Pros :
-Fancy Packaging
-Good texture
-NOT pricey(when i bought it in Korea)
-Nice result
You will get a great look and you might believe that it's not a cheap thing nor a grimcrack stuff whereas it comes with very very affordable price.

Cons :
I don't know what's the Cons.maybe it's not an OPI,but this is such a great product.
Great nail polish,great value and great look.

I will repurchase it again and again as 2pm song(korean well-known boyband artist) :)
but FYI ! many korean cosmetic brands deliver a good product for its nail polish and cost not pricey,usually 1,000 won/pc for almost everywhere.

Etude House is a Korean brand that has several cute little standalone stores in Singapore. They have a few ranges of nail polish, so to clarify, I'm reviewing the Petit Darling polishes with the aubergine-coloured caps. I bought PK009 (bright hot pink creme), GR601(vibrant teal creme) and WH702 (grey with slight shimmer). Love that they are so cheap - each bottle costs SGD$3.90 (about USD$3). I'm in love with this product for the amazing range of colours and how fast they dry. The bottle is so cute too! The application isn't great as it tends to leave bald spots. Not very durable either - it lasted on my nails for 2 days before I got huge chips, despite the use of a basecoat and topcoat. A good topcoat goes a long was in making these little gems look even more gorgeous (I used Seche Vite). I'm very happy I found these and plan to get more very soon.

Absolutely love Etude House nail polish, depending on which range you get, its pretty inexpensive. The colours are very "in" and many of their colours are dupes of popular nail polishes ie OPI's my private jet - PP904. Colour payoff for this is great, one coat is completely opaque. This has a slightly reddish tone compared to my private jet, which has a yellowish tone. I applied both side by side and almost cannot tell the difference.

Note: This review will be for the Etude House nail polish in general and not the color in the picture.

I first got my Etude House nail polish from a friend that went to Korea. My main complain is that the brush makes the application really hard! It shows streaks and is very hard to apply. While the colors and formulation is great, i'm giving 1 star because of the difficulty in applying the nail polish.

first up: the Etude House HD Beam nail polish in BR303 (picture added, its the one in grey/brown). This is a very interesting color as at times it can look grey, other times brownish or even purple-ish. I simply love it, it's very peculiar!


I've also bought the regular Etude House Petite Darling PP907 (picture added, taken with flash so IRL its darker!) - dark wine red. not as opaque -you do need a few coats. very vampy! no shimmers, just beautiful =). This line is even cheaper than the HD Beam but quality wise they're on par, really! i was expecting them to chip within 2 days, but they've lasted me for a week also. i always change my nailpolishes weekly, so i've no idea how long it takes for them to start chipping off.


Pros:
- cheap cheap cheap!
- chip resistant for nearly a week
- BR303 is a good dupe for OPI You Dont Know Jacques
(thats exactly why i ended up skipping on the OPI one hahah)
- this particular one is opaque, so it covers decently in one stroke. but i always apply two coats just to be sure.
- it doesn't get thick in the bottle (unlike the skin food's nail vita. these are tragic money wasters imo)


Cons (if you can call this a con?):
- tiny tiny bottle! 7ml only..
- it's more expensive in the physical stores so i have to buy online to get 'em cheaper..

i got this one in true red color, i love this polish , its called etude power lasting nail polish , and its lasts more than 6 days , colors are great and no chipping at all

I love these! Easily available here in Malaysia, gorgeous colors, and cute packaging. Cheap too! The colors last fairly long, and are easy to apply, although a pale pink creme color was very streaky.

i like their nail polish.. comparable to those good brands, dries fast and doesnt chip that easily. i once had the nail colour of my toes for 2 weeks, no chipping!
definately a good alternative from OPI, quality is much better than loreal or maybelline for sure. packaging reminds me of anna sui!

Etude nail polish is not bad. I think it's comparable to the more expensive brands like OPI. Many nice colours. Apply fairly easily and dries fast, doesn't chip easily. But it's a little streaky. My fave is still Dior Addict Nail Polish.

Wow, I am surprised to be the first to review this. Great nail polish..I bought it in Korea long before the long-wearing nail colors appeared in the US, and it wore just as long as the Revlon Colorstay nail enamel, without the funky smell.
