For about 1/40th the price, you can spray some household lemon cleaner on your clothing & get the same scent! The only pro I found to this fragrance is that it's long lasting. Which is actually sort of unfortunate in this case.

Straight up tart lemonade. No sweetness nor warmth. However, I do like the rollerball but that is all I like about this product.

Love the scent, love it. However people have insisted it smells exactly like Gingerale, and they were right. It's bizarre. It smells of lemon and gingerale. No compliments from men, or women. As much as I like it I am not going to repurchase a product that I can't smell after 20 minutes. :( Sad

I have 3 words.... Lemon Household Cleaner.
Age: 44-55 Skin: Combination Hair: Red Eyes: Green
This is a really pretty flirty spring fragrance I wear often (especially in the spring/summer) and which gets 0 compliments from men. But I love it. Like others have said it has no staying power. So I blow through one of the smaller bottles every so often. But I do love it, it's in my rotation. It's a no-brainer scent for me when I'm not sure which of the zillion scents I'd like to wear. The staying power though.... sad. :/

The fragrance is refreshing, but there is absolutely no staying power. Would be lovely for summer, but I don't know how many times I have to spray in one day just to have a little scent around.

RockMom66 says Lemon Sugar reminds her of "Squirt," and I have to agree. It's a very apt description of this scent. Lemon Sugar is sweet, sugary, lemony & bright. Lemon Sugar was a blind buy and I'm glad I did so.
I have been looking for a fragrance like this for a long time. I tried a number of Demeter fragrances (lemonade, ginger ale), plus a few classics (Roger & Gallett), and I despised each & every one. The Fresh fragrances are much better quality & more wearable.
Lemon Sugar was my first Fresh purchase and Sake my second. I will definitely look more carefully at the house of Fresh.

I believe this is a counterfeit knock off of Fresh's "Sugar Lemon." The Fresh logo is the same but the product title is reversed (Sugar Lemon, vs. Lemon Sugar) and as a disappointed buyer of this one, it smells NOTHING like the real thing.
I don't know how they get around using Fresh's logo but this is not the real deal .

I rarely use such hyperbolic terms when it comes to something relatively inconsequencial like perfume - but this is really awful - atrocious, spray at your own risk! I LOVE citric perfumes, strong ones (like acqua di parma arancia di capri), softer ones (like Tocca Bianca), more masculine ones (like Acqua di Parma) girlier ones (like Fresh pink jasmine). So I don't dislike it because of the citrus aspect - it HAS no good citrus aspect! There is no "fresh lemon" smell in this, no lemon oil scent in this, nothing! There isn't even any lemon-pie scent in this (which wouldn't be too great eiather) - this is pure and simple, straight up ajax lemon dishwashing detergent. Not fine french lemon bar soap, not even lemon laundry detergent - lemon dishwashing detergent! I.E. it is not that lemony really at all, only in the vaguest synthetic sense of the word. It is more dishwasher liquid than lemon. Disgusting. And p.s. it only lasts 10 minutes - thank god! Why Fresh keep producing this year after year and discontinuing better fragrances of theirs (if you like citrus Fresh's pink jasmine and thier new Bergamot citrus are nice bets) - I have no idea!

Feh! It smells just like lemon Pledge. It brings back childhood memories of dusting the china hutch. Thank goodness it only lasted all of 2 hours on me. I like citron de vigne and bought it, I like citrus! This smelled like pledge, and lemonheads.

This smells like heaven!
Seriously, I had the bottle up to my nose all day and didn't even get tired of the scent.
I'm allergic to pretty much any perfume, but not this one! I like that it's very natural and I can smell the authenticity of the fragrance.
It doesn't have much staying power at all, but the heavenly scent makes up for it.
I must say that you do need to spray a heavy dose on, but the way you'll smell after is totally worth it!
And it DOES NOT smell like kitchen cleaner, it smells like sweet lemonade :)

Not a fan of this perfume, at all - it reminds me too much of a lemon-scented cleaning product. Though I normally love citrus, this doesn't do it for me - it smells too artificial. I gave it an extra lippy because it does eventually fade into more of a "clean" smell, before fading quickly away into something barely noticeable. Not great staying power, which unfortunately seems to be the case for all of my Fresh perfumes. Having said so, I don't mind that this one fades away quickly - bleh! I wouldn't repurchase.

As my dh says "it reminds me of Squirt" I really enjoy this scent. Its "fun" smelling and makes me feel happy.

Nasty! This stuff smells like Lemon Pledge. Grad I swapped for it and glad I was able to swap it after. I would have been mortified if I had actually spent $$ on it. If you like to smell like cleaning products then you will love it, otherwise AVOID at all costs.
If you want to smell like a Lemonhead then buy Brown Sugar instead, though it doesn't sound lemony, rest assured it is a lemon head type smell from Brown Sugar by Fresh

I'm a big citrus lover, but this doesn't smell remotely like real lemon/citrus to me, but rather like the harsh industrial scents used for bathrooms. I have to wonder whether certain bottles of this scent just go Very Wrong in storage, given the big variation among reviews.
Cannot wear, cannot recommend. I'm embarrassed because I got it as a gift and it's totally wasted.

I tried this on at Sephora, and really liked how it smelled as I shopped. So, after a few hours, I returned to Sephora and bought a small bottle. (I have learned to always buy a small bottle first.)
When I got it home, I tried to wear it several times. Each time I wore it, I would think, "Hmmm...what is that dish soap smell?" Finally, I connected it to this perfume.
Now, it does smells clean, and I usually like clean. I just would rather not smell the dish soap clean on my body.

This smells generic and artificial.

Didn't like this one at all. It smelled harsh and chemically, like cleaning products. I was looking more for a soft, sweet, vanilla-lemon scent, like BBW Hello Sugar! or Tutti Dulci's Lemon Meringue that were carried a few years ago.

I love almost every scent by Fresh... except Lemon Sugar!
I find the scent of lemons to be very appealing; not overly sweet, complex, and bright. So when I saw this perfume, I was instantly attracted to it. I sprayed some on at Sephora and then took home a sample to see how it would interact with my body and some other lotions for layering purposes.
About a half hour out of Sephora, Lemon Sugar began to smell like black licorice on me. YUCK. One of my most hated scents and tastes. There was no lemony or citrus smell left, there was nothing bright or crisp about the scent either... just musky, nasty black licorice. Eeeww.
Even after trying to wash it off, it had super staying power. Which was ironic, because my other Fresh perfumes (Mangosteen & Hesperides) last no longer than an hour!
Maybe if I liked black licorice I would like this scent... but I don't! :)

This scent is not for everyone. You really have to be into lemony and citrus scents. This smells very similar to Clean. It's crisp and smells as if you just jumped right out the shower. I wouldn't buy it again cuz I would like to try their other scents.
