I bought this for the dark lilac shade in it but I use all the colors seperately.the colors together I can never use so odd.dark lilac and nude shades are ok but browns and grey I never touched.this is the worst eye shadow set I've ever bought.

This quint contains 5 neutral shades of brown and grey. The colors arent really matte but they have metallic sheen, especially the darkest ones. In the middle there is a light silvery grey and it is the color that I like most here, then there is this rich nutty beige shade and a light beige shade, darkest shades of the quint are mauvey grey and a very very dark brown with purple undertones. I am a neutral PPP with dark brown hair and blue-green eyes. These eye shadows are extremely good and one of the few that never creased on me but I dont reach this quint because the colors dont really bring my eyes out nicely as other brown combinations I own. I think it is the mauvey tones and the metallic sheen that I dont like about it. Usually browns look nice on me but these just did not. I really dont like this chunky container either, it takes so much room and I would love to see what colors I am reaching without so much hassle with lifting every container up and looking b/c I have so much stuff it would take forever. But if you love really HIGH END, these are the best.

This is one of my favorites from the Dior collection. Great browns and nothing wears longer!

Definitely one of the more versatile and wearable of Dior's 5 color e/s palettes. Great for a whole range of looks from barely there to more dramatic warm greyish smoky eye. Colors should be workable on both warm and cool skin types as they contain enough of a neutral base. I'll try to describe them as best I can ;) The colors are: 1. Creamy beige-champagne sheen; 2. Rich Butterscotch-gold sheen; 3. Muted taupe with greyish-silver undertones; 4. Rich matte chocolate with russet undertones(for lining, I think); 5. Middle color is smoky-silver, slightly irredescetnt sheen. I've had this palette quite a while now and have yet to make much of a dent in the pans. The colors are very, very easy to blend. No tugging at the eyelids needed. However, I find these shadows to be more powdery than my usual MAC, Stila, Shu etc. so I need to moisturize well before applying - funny, considering I have oily lids! At first I was a little turned off by how matte these shadows are - I think that's what made my eyes dry-looking. Solved the problem by putting MAC cream color base in a neutral, shimmery color et voila...perfection! Makes the shadows pop even more and holds them to your lids like there's no tomorrow!!
