This is a fun product to keep in your purse, especially for summer in my case since the color is quite pinkish on me. I tend to wear warmer colors in the winter. Small enough to keep in my pocket, it's easy to use when I don't have a mirror.

I have very pale lips, they are lighter than my skin and make me look sick if I don't put color on them. I usually only like to wear tinted lip balms. While I like other types of lip products, the tinted lip balm is easiest for me to apply w/o a mirror, and I reapply A LOT! I heard about this when it first came out about 7 years ago, and fell in love!! It goes on clear, but turns to a wonderfully natural pink on your lips.
The concept is not a new one, I acutally used to use the old school cream blush from Merle Norman, Warm Blush (white pot with purple cheek color inside) on my lips. The beauty of this product was that it was a different color on everyone based on their chemistry. Someone suggested we try it on my lips, and Voila, the perfect lip stain. They had closed the Merle Norman in my area, so I was looking for a similar type product, when Avon introduced this beauty.
I love how moist my lips feel when using this, and I love that as the gloss wears down, it leaves a bit of a stain behind. I have minimum of 3 tubes at any time, one for purse, house, and office! Plus for the price, you can't beat it!!

That other reviewer is right- mark came out with this gloss a while before Smashbox came out with their copycat O-gloss (I know because I used to be a mark rep and bought glossblossom when it first came out).
I'm a nude lips girl but, when I want a hint of pink for a girlier look, I like this lip gloss. I love that it doesn't have any shimmer or glitter (which I hate) and it's not sticky (which I hate more). It's just a sheer gloss that turns from clear to a sweet girly pink. I think this gloss is the definition of YLBB- it's natural and evens out your lip color and makes them pretty without looking like you're wearing makeup. I think girls/women of all ages could wear this. Even little kids would like the color-changing "magic" and they could wear it without looking like Toddlers in Tiaras (shudder). It's cheap on mark's website (I think it's on clearance right now), so I highly recommend trying it before it's gone!

I am a lip gloss junkie--always switching and trying new things BUT this is a staple. I'm on my 4th tube!! Love it---not sticky and I love that it leaves pink on your lips after the gloss wears off----just the right amount of color!

love this. goes on clear and turn to a beautiful pink flush of color on my lips. i love it! so much cheaper than smashbox o gloss. great alternative. super glossy and beautiful on lips. Nice price...would purchase again.
update 7/12/11: I've been using this EVERY single day lately, and I'm loving it. This is super glossy without being sticky like a lot of glosses that I've tried. I'm in LOVE with this lip gloss. I hope Mark never discontinues it.
*7/14/11: i saw this listed as a good-bye in magalog 8, and I'm really upset. This is online for $2.99 along with Cheekblossom, so get them while you can. I will be stocking up because this is my favorite lipgloss & I don't want to pay for Smashbox's O Gloss that doesn't even live up to this.

I hated it, it went on like Vaseline and was sticky and goopy, my Avon rep couldn't believe how terrible it was and returned it for me.

I love this. I love this. I love this. I hope it's never discontinued. It's part of my morning routine. I lotion my face, conceal a couple of things, and pop this on my lips. It adds a subtle flush of pink. It's completely goof-proof.
The only thing about this is, it's supposed to smell like berries, and I can see how Mark tried to accomplish this.. but to me it just smells like rotten eggs. Haha. I'm really picky about scents though and it doesn't bother me too much because it wears off in a minute or two.
ETA on February 5th, 2012: it's happened. It's been discontinued. I don't think I'll be making anymore Avon hauls.

I really love this product. I like the easy application and I LOVE the beautiful pink color. It is a very bright pink however, so I could see some people not liking it.
I turned several of my friends on to this product. I'm not sure how "custom" the results are. We ALL seem to get the same shade. The only variance comes from the color of the lips that are under the gloss.
The gloss isn't drying which is nice because stain is usually very drying. This is a lip stain by the way. I don't think mark represents it as such. The info does mention it tints the lips but it's a bit ambiguous. The color of the glossblossom is very long lasting. This is nice because most long lasting stains are very drying (think lorac). Stains designed not to be drying do not usually last that long (think staniac).
The only reason why I give this 4 out of 5 lippies is because the shiny gloss where's off quickly. Since the color stays behind, I can just apply clear lip gloss or balm throughout the day. The additional lip gloss/balm doesn't completely remove the product like with some stains.

--This is just an all around great lipgloss. It smells great-- like fresh nectarines. It does turn pink on your lips-- I wouldn't say its a custom pink though. All of these type of glosses turn the same color pink-- it just looks different on different people.
--I am very pale and this gives me a bright pink glossy look. Its actually about as dark of a pink as I can pull off. Not super long wearing, but I love the smell and the color enough to buy it again.

I gave this a 4 instead of a 5 because it has pretty much zero staying power. The staying power is exactly the same as the Palmer's lipglosses in the same style tube. I'm not a fan of pink, or of lipgloss, But, I'm getting older and I'm scared that lipstick might contribute to the drying that causes those icky vertical lines around the lips. So, I'm trying glosses. I have to say this does turn a very nice shade of pink on me. I could see why some might think it is just clear but honestly, it's not. It makes my lips a tiny bit darker, a tiny bit pinker, a tiny bit more golden. It's not a full makeup look but it's very nice for a clean face day. Also, I think the price is excellent. I'll probably buy one for every handbag I have. Maybe $6 is a lot compared to carmex but compared to any lipgloss you can buy at Sephora, or even drugstore lipglosses the price is a steal.

I love GlossBlossom! I have 2 in the shimmer shade. It's the perfect shade of pinkish gold, I believe it would look well against any skin tone. Definitely recommend. So happy to have found it:)

When I read about this gloss on mark. and found out it does some kind of magic to turn itself into your perfect shade of pink, I basically freaked out. MAKE-UP SCIENCE! MUST HAVE!
So, of course, I read a lot of reviews on this product that were all pretty good. Sadly, I have to say I'm completely confused as to why it gets so much praise.
I kind of expected this magical goo to come pouring out of the tube in all its glory and transform my bare lips into a pretty pink glossy masterpiece.
What I got instead was a regular clear lip gloss that does a whole lotta nothing. It doesn't even have staying power.
And for the price ($6 before s&h for 0.34 FL OZ) I will definitely never purchase again.

I have this in both the original and the shimmer versions and like both equally. I actually used up the entire tube of the original, and I never do that with a gloss, so that says a lot. (The shimmer version is right behind it, now.) However, I think because I have quite pigmented lips already I can't really tell much of a difference between the two shimmer-wise other than it's gold (it's so finely milled it doesn't overwhelm). Both give a nice pop of color that isn't fuchsia, last as long as any other gloss, and that's all I'm really looking for. They feel slightly greasy (like petroleum jelly) which also gives them a slight plastic-y taste (the shimmer one more so than the original), but I'll take that over something strong or offensive anyday. They don't moisturize all that well, but IME anything intended to stain your lips won't do that a whole lot anyway (I've tried a lot of stains), This is easily my daily go-to, no-brainer, no-mirror-necessary gloss; good for keeping in a pocket while I'm out and about to add some color and shine. I'd like to try the cheek stain version of this, but sadly, reviews are not as good on that one!

This is a great buy! I found it a little drying, but putting a layer of original chapstik on before remedies that problem. :) I love this product and I will buy again. I want to try the shimmer!

Didn't change the colour of my lips. Nice gloss though but I didn't find it moisturizing. My lips feel a little dry after its worn off, that's the main reason I won't repurchase.
Update: I think I was having a skin issue when I first tried this. I gave it another shot a couple months later and I really like it now. It does have a nice tint of colour and I like the way it feels on my lips. I wish I hadn't put the negative review in the first time.

I really wanted the smashbox version because I love how low maintenance the idea of this type of gloss is but I couldnt justify the price. So I tried this one and LOVE IT! This is totally my weekend lip; a little mineral foundation, some mascara and this and I am off and running around.
Pros:
- Smashbox is in the $20's. This was $6!
- Goes on a like a clear gloss and turns a deep "I have been eating a strawberry lollipop" look on me.
- Sweet scent
- Not sticky at all
-A little goes a long way and it lasts for awhile.
Cons:
- Can be drying but I remedy that by slicking on some clear gloss and I am good to go.
I would definetly repurchase.

This is one of my go to favorites! I purchased this product on a whim, but I must say that it is definitely something I will buy again. I have tons of lipsticks and lip glosses but this is the one I reach for each time. It is the right amount of gloss and leaves your lips looking pink and flirty. The smell (grapefruit) is great.

This is WAY better than Smashbox's O-Gloss.
I'm not saying that because of the price- I'm actually talking in terms of quality. Glossblossom is, overall, a better buy. Why, you ask? (I'd be wondering why too.)
Well, Glossblossom doesn't make your lips neon, for a start. It is a far more flattering hue of pink, and if you want it to be brighter, well then, just blot it off and then reapply another layer of gloss. Simple! The gloss factor itself is nicer, in my opinion, because it looks wetter and not slimier. O-Gloss made me look like I had just eaten some (very) pink goo, whereas Glossblossom gave me a shiny, just-bitten effect that looked natural.
Just a note for those complaining about the lack of glossy-lasting power: the mark. site does advertise it as more of a lip tint than a gloss. They flat-out state that the gloss will go away. Glossblossom is not meant to have a long term glossiness and they suggest layering it with a clear gloss. Personally, I like the wet-gloss feeling, so I don't mind that it evaporates quicker!
