This did not show up on me *at all*, and I'm very fair skinned. In the pot it's a bright pinky shade, but it took about 4 applications on one cheek for anything more than glitter to show up. Now, I like glitter & glimmer & shimmer, but this was Over the Top. I swapped it away and probably will not purchase anymore Smashbox Transparencies in the future, due to the formula.

This stuff is okay. Got it as part of a set, otherwise I don't think I'd purchase it normally though I am glad that I got to try it. Like other reviewers said, it takes a lot of layering to get a good flush. I do think it's got too much shimmer to use everyday but it's good for nighttime.

This is the worst mousse/cream blush I've ever tried. The texture is terrible and once applied on my face the color fades to absolutely nothing, no pigment or staying power whatsoever. It came as a gift set in a small little tub and I have to put a LOT on in order for it to be noticeable that I am wearing blush. I throw it in my makeup bag just in case my blush fades throughout the day, and also just so I can use it up as fast as I can.

I'm NC25, and can usually play around with blushes from either extreme end, but I found this to be a little too light. It's very pretty though - a soft, shimmery pink. It works well as a base to a powder blush, but any powder blush I apply just covers up any Flaunt I have applied to begin with (and makes it last no longer), so it ends up being a pointless step for me. Otherwise, it's texture texture texture that's the big selling point of this product!

Me: NW20, very dry skin, dark blonde hair, hazel eyes. This is quickly becoming my go-to blush (blush is all I use it for) for all occasions. Like MAC's Dollymix powder blush, it is a perfect pop of bright pink color but sheer enough not to be garish. What I PREFER about it is the texture and consistency. The formula (which in my estimation should really only have been marketed as a blush)is super silky and moist and since the apples of my cheeks are the driest part of my parched face, having a finish that is on the moist side works perfectly to avoid looking powdery or rough. I'm a big fan of Smashbox products in general and this is one of my favorite products. Now I just need to try some of the other shades. The only complaint I have is that its a product meant for fingers but the pot is too small for people with even marginally long nails, which is a giant pet peeve of mine.

I'm a big fan of cream/mousse products for some reason, even though they don't seem to last as long as powders on me. I LOVE the texture of this Transparencies and I love the color. But it takes a lot for it to show up, and I have to be careful in applying or I'll just rub it right off, leaving just a bit of shimmer behind. I agree with the reviewer who said it's nice under a powder blush for more dimension. That's my favorite use for it at the moment.
For a shimmery cream blush that shows up, try Smashbox's French Kiss highlighter. I love using this with NARS South Beach multiple.

Very pretty colour. Pink with a bit of shimmer. Does not last as long as a powder but easy to put on in the morning if you only have 2 minutes.

When I first saw this I was totally fascinated by the unique spongy moussey texture. Then, even though I was petrified of this bright neon coral pink I dipped my finger in and applied to the apples of my cheeks. When I stood back to admire my handiwork I was sold! It looked pretty, natural, and "flushed from within". I've been busily buying all of these up on eBay so I NEVER run out!

This product is amazing! I bought it a few weeks ago, off TV. I have extremely fair skin, and many powder blushes are just too intense for me. The application with this is so simple (fingertips). The texture is great. It feels very cooling on the skin. It looks very natural, even though it's so pink in the pot. I don't use it on my lips, because it cakes a little bit. But for my cheeks, this is perfect! I bought it in a package with some other pieces, hopefully it's not too pricey to buy on it's own. I don't know how long the pot will last. I can't tell if I'm going through it quickly, or if it's just pushed to the sides... I'll let you know when it's gone

This is a great sheer creamy mousse blush for paler people like me who don't want an obvious blush streak on their faces. It's a brighter colour in the pot, but on my cheeks it's a very nice sheer shade. Leaves a bit of shimmer too.

I can't figure out how to get this stuff on properly. Either I put way too much on and it goes everywhere or it sinks in to my skin and you can't see it.
UPDATE: I'm starting to get the hang with this stuff. I found out I was applying it to the wrong area. I'm upping the rating from 2 to 4 lippies now.

The edge of the jar lid cracked right away and I had to exchange it. Not sure it this is systemic, but one of the display samples also had this problem. Nevertheless, I love this product!
I am super fair (the SB French Kiss highlighter shows up as a definite pink blush on me). This blends right in and gives me a pretty flush. The combo of the texture & this light color are perfect. No more using pale pink highlighters for blush or fiddling with putting powder on my brush before trying to swipe up just a few grains of a light powder blush color for me! I am going to see if any of the Stila blush pot colors are similarly light but a bit different (the other SB transparencies colors are too dark for me).
For the truly fair, this is a HG. You know who you are! For others, sure, I can totally see where this won't show up. But since there are so few options for the ghostly complexioned among us, all hail to SB for making this great product!

I only tried this on my cheeks, but that was all I bought it for. I was sadly disappointed...nothing showed up on me at all, just some vague shimmer. I am pale, and still no color showed up. Plus, the thing is tiny for $18. I am returning it....not worth it, even as just a highlighter.

Nice color on my fair complexion--don't get nervous how bright it looks in the pot. I apply it to the apples of my cheeks and it looks very nice and no caking. 2 problems: has no staying power and just the area where I applied, I now have a few blemishes...oh well. I'm sticking with Prescriptives cream blush stick.

I wish there were a maybe box to check. But I got this one in a kit(Tips of the trade kit, which is wonderful) and reviewed it there. It's a pretty color, but a bit too shimmery for me for day. But since I reviewed it in the kit review, I've discovered a new way to wear it. I tapped a bit of Stila Lillium CC on, then a bit of Flaunt on, and sort of blended it onto my cheek (high on cheek, under eye) with gentle tapping on. When it had the CC to comingle with, it looked a lot better. I don't think I'd buy another transparency, but this gives me a way to use this one that I do have.

I loved this stuff!
I tried some that my friend had and fell in love with it. I immediately bought 2 from eBay, and will continue to buy. I am a brunette and have fair skin and hazel eyes - the color is perfect for me. It also stayed on well and imparted a very pretty, dewy type finish. Beautiful for day OR night. For the evening I layer it a bit more to get more "ooomph". *******EDITED*******: The more I used this, the more I became disenchanted with it. Have since replaced with BeneFit Glamazon jewels in Throw me a Vine. See my review there!

I'm not a huge fan of Smashbox, but I saw this product and was intrigued by the unusual texture. As everyone else has already said, it's a spongy, mousse-like product with multiple uses. I bought it to use as a shadow. Although it's a pretty bright pink in the container, it's basically clear on my skin--it doesn't show up at all. It's a nice, somewhat gimmicky concept, but not very useful, overall. Wouldn't buy again.
