The only downfall of this product is that it is really expensive but since you only use a tad bit once a week it shouldn't be too bad. It helped me where my skin flakes around my nose and brightened my complexion overall. You definetly have to follow with a good lotion because it is pretty harsh.

I just used it for the first time, and it was AMAZING!
My face has been so dry because of the cold weather. Once I used this product my dry skin disappeared! smells really good too!
It is however a bit pricey.
Happy with this product.

This is my winter godsend for my dry skin patches from Retin A. I have been on the retin almost 8 months and I still get some flaking which I hate but this jem in a jar has saved my skin for the winter. My day routine is an oil cleanser I have a few then Ren Global Protection. Now the fun part night time because I use it most then because it helps the RA sink in because my skin is prepped. I was with an oil or foam cleanser then I use this I apply about a quarter size to my face paying attention to my dry spots and rub in gentle circular motions. BTW this smells divine fresh and clean very nice to me. I add warm water and lightly scrub and rinse it does get a little foamy which is good.
I rinse with cool water tone with orange blossom or rose water once that dries I apply my RA after about an hour I use my Night a Mins and I'm good to go. My skin feels so soft and it's one of the best scrubs I have ever used. I have used exfolikate and this is the best imo. I wakeup in morning with radiant skin which I never used to have. I think this is worth the money because it lasts a long time for me 2x's a week is perfect considering I have a Mia so I don't want to over do it but this stuff makes my skin baby soft. I think this is a good gentle scrub that most women can use. Of course get a sample so you'll know if it works for you. I ordered this without testing and I'm very happy with it. I really recommend this scrub and I have sensitive skin so it works on us sensitive girls which is great because girls with other skin types can benefit too.

I just adore this scrub! I have really oily acne prone skin so I really have the exfoliate to feel like my skin is really "clean". Most scrubs I have tried leave my face feeling dry, raw or as if there is residue after use, this one does not. It rinses off easily so your skin feels baby soft and smooth. It smells delicious! So much so I want to eat it. And despite the fact I bought it for my super oily skin I have noticed my little sister stealing it constantly and she has incredibly dry skin! It works for both of us and we love it. I highly recommend this for any skin type. So luxurious it's well worth the price tag.

Well it didn't irritate my skin, but all in all it is just a run of the mill mechanical exfoliate. Not worth the price tag in my opinion.

Best skin exfoliator I've ever tried! I have used everything from Nubrilliance to local market scrub, this product gives me smooth, bright and clear skin after one-time use.
I usually have combination skin, but lately breaking out a lot. From that, I have used so many peels to get rid of acne scars and to stop breaking out. The end results gave me a lot of dead skin, super dried-out on my forehead. This scrub helped me get rid of all these dead skin! Love it and already repurchased the full size product.

I've tried a few scrubs in my day, and I like this so much that I've decided to stick with it. Yes, it's a bit pricey for a scrub, but I will happily pay the price again and again....here's what I like about it: 1) It's effective. For my oily, congested skin, it does the job and leaves my face baby-smooth without irritation. 2) It rinses perfectly clean. No slippery film, no moisture layer, nothing remains after I rinse. Just clean skin! 3) It smells so good, like an almond cake. If I could change just one thing, it would be to have it packaged in a tube. I use it in the shower and water tends to drip into the lil' pot. :)

I got this as a sample because it was recommended by a sales associate. I tried it and it was great for my sensitive skin. I use this with the sephora precision pore cleansing pad..and gently circulate the product on my face. It works great and leaves my skin feeling clean and fresh. I have sensitive skin and this does not seem to bother me. I purchased the full size of this!

I adore this scrub. It can be rough when you are first applying it but the end results make your face so clean, fresh and very smooth. The only downside is the price. Honestly, it's worth the money - even though they give you a tiny jar of this. If anyone is interested in buying this, make sure you get a free sample of this from sephora first.

As an exfoliate, this product really does the job. After using this scrub for the first time, my skin was left glowing and feeling baby soft. Even though the other reviewers disliked the packaging, I felt the pot's design was functional and cute.
My main qualm with this scrub is about the walnut granules, although I should say that the walnut is what makes this product so superb as an exfoliator. No matter how much I rinsed my face (with a cloth, sponge or just my hands), I could not remove all the tiny walnut particles. They went EVERYWHERE and were very hard to rinse from my face, my hairline, and from the sink. I even had problems in the shower. Although it hasn't happened yet, getting one of these granules in my eye would extremely painful and even dangerous to the cornea. That being said, walnut is very effective for removing dead skin and impurities. This is a fail-proof product that actually leaves the skin radiant and glowing. Because of that, I would repurchase. I think I paid about $30 CAN at Sephora and it's not an unreasonable price for the results.

Harsh! While it makes your skin FEEL amazing, it totally irritated my skin. My face was red for hours after using this and I applied it on moist skin AND added more water after. It didn't really help with anything besides softening my skin. Definitely won't be repurchasing, not worth the price.

I moved from New York to South Florid recently, and have experienced severe drying out of my skin. While I moisturize and moisturize, dead skin keeps piling up. I've tried every exfoliating product out there from St. Ive's apricot scrub (while it clears away the dead skin, don't use it, it cuts the skin and makes pore deeper and larger) to a Vitamin C scrub from Clarins (maybe I don't remember) The best out of all of them was definitely the walnut scrub. It clears the dead skin like the St. Ive's but is gentle and doesn't cut the skin at all. I love this product, and will buy it again!

This is the only Ole Henriksen product I have repurchased and like. If you are someone who doesn't like abrasive exfoliators and prefers astringents then this product is not for you.
It is highly granular / gritty and does a good job of sloughing of any flakey/dead skin. The jar is not very hygienic but the scrub is very solid in consistency so you need to remove it with your fingertip, or spatula. A little goes a very long way and one jar lasted me well over 6 months.
I really like the abrasiveness of this exfoliator, which some might consider to harsh. I am careful though not to rub it into my skin too harshly as I do not want to damage my skin or break any capillaries.
Great 'hard-core' exfoliator! Love it.

I love this scrub for the following reasons:
- its gets all the dirt off my face, keeping blackheads at bay (I tend to focus my scrubbing on my cheeks where i get blackheads)
- it smells amazing! I cant get enough of the smell.
- adding it to my routine has really help clear my acne-prone skin.
- it makes my skin feel incredibly smoother.

I used 3 jars of it then I stopped. The good things about this scrub are that, it is a natural product, it is a pretty moisturizing, and it exfoliated pretty well. However, the walnut particle is too large and by messaging it on my face, it was too irritated. I am not sure if it helped with my acne or not.

I have learned on beauty product to try the product first and read the reviews later. As a result, I don't have a negative opinion about a product before I test it. Somehow I discovered this product at Sephora. Using this product removes all layers of top skin. Your face literally feels like a new born's skin. Wonderful product!

I had some store credit at Sephora and picked this up since I love Ole products... and wow! I used it tonight and at first I was a little off-put by the large granules but it was great! Not too harsh on my skin and it smelled good. But the best part was when I washed it off... my skin was glowing! And SO soft! Also some black and whiteheads around my nose were gone! This is a great scrub and definitely worth every penny!

I use this in the shower. It definitely keeps blackheads at bay- I target those areas. Smells great, and skin feels very smooth after a treatment. I use it 2 or 3 times a week. A little goes a long way.

I first tried this product as a recommendation by a Sephora agent.I first tried a sample and i loved it instantly. The exfoliating particles are pretty big but it gives you a fresh clean feel afterward.I love this product so much.I use it about twice a week and it's lasted me a while. If your skin is really oily I'd recommend it!However if you have sensitive oily skin you might want to test it out before purchasing.

The granules are very large and rough so you have to add plenty of water and rub softly. It smells like cherry candy. It didn't make my skin red or irritated and i noticed that it took off some of my dark blemished spots. I love the other Ole Henriksen products so I figured adding this to the regimen couldn't hurt, and it hasn't yet. My complaints are about the jar and the price for the tiny jar, but none of the OH products are cheap, so of course this wasn't. They've been worth every penny for me though because my skin is looking tons better.
UPDATE: I returned this for so many reasons... firstly, this stuff was comparable to St. Ives Apricot Scrub which can be found at the drugstore. It was completely overpriced, $24 for a tiny pot. And of course I hate the pot style packaging for contamination reasons. I prefer Dermalogica's microfoliant to this any day.
