Heard very good things about this deodorant for years, finally decided to give it a try.
PRO's:
*Gives a silky clean and dry **feeling** to armpits for roughly 24 hours from application.
*Product doesn't ball/pill up in the underarms throughout the day.
*Applies very thin and little product is required, feels light and weightless and breathable, not cakey/thick or heavy or suffocating.
*Does a very good job at odor/sweat prevention throughout the day IF applied to freshly washed clean and dry skin.
*I personally haven't experienced any product transfer to dark clothing.
NEUTRAL:
*The scent seems unisex to me, it's not distinctly feminine or masculine, men could probably wear this. It doesn't smell to me like a clean or fresh scent (i.e. soap, flowers, etc), it's more like a musky cedar wood plus baby powder kind of smell; it doesn't smell dirty or like BO or anything, it's a pleasant scent, but it's not what I would call a "clean" or "fresh" scent. But to me it's not overbearing or perfumey or cologny. I do wish it was a bit more feminine and clean/fresh smelling, tho because the scent kind of reminds me of what I imagine an attic in a rustic home to smell like.
CON's:
*Does not work well for me at all in either masking or neutralizing existing BO. If I recently showered and apply it soon afterwards I'm good and protected for the whole day and even into part of the next day; but whenever I've skipped showering the next day and then touch up with this deodorant once I'm starting to smell a little questionable, it doesn't work well at neutralizing existing odor or masking it, and to be honest it seems to make any present odor a lot worse and a lot more offensive to me. This is something I'm not used to because my previous deodorants had the ability to, well, de-odor, lol.
*Kinda expensive for the amount of product.
I would purchase this again and do recommend it.

This is hands down the best deodorant that I have ever used. The only reason that I clicked 'No' for repurchase is because it's almost $30CAD, and Degree Clinical Strength works great as well, for $5.
Anyway, I'd describe the scent of this as "sophisticated baby powder" (if you can imagine that). According to Donna Karan's website, ithas notes of bergamot, jasmine, lily of the valley, suede, cashmere accord, sandalwood, amber, musk, and vanilla. Quite complex for a deodorant/anti-perspirant! The ending result is a delicious smell that is somehow sexy, yet fresh and not overbearing at the same time. I often skip perfume when I wear this.
And this product keeps me dry like no other! I sweat A LOT and this is the only thing that's kept me dry from dawn till dusk. I didn't think such a "pretty" product would offer such heavy duty performance, but boy was I surprised!
Bottom line? If you have $20 to spend on deodorant, I HIGHLY suggest this.

I have been looking for the perfect deodorant for ages! I have tried everything out there. All of it and I always felt smelly so I always felt that I had to keep reapplying. I saw this while standing in line at Sephora. It was the small size $10 bucks so I bought it. I LOVED IT! It smells great, just fine. Like baby powder kind of but more elegant. It keeps me dry and I finally for the first time ever dont feel like I need to carry deodorant with me everywhere I go. I apply when I get out of the shower and that's it! And it feels smooth. The big size is $20 at Macy's. But I love it so much I am ok with that! Never thought id be spending 20 bucks for deodorant.
Its great.

I usually use drugstore deodorants, but having never been satisfied with them and reading good reviews about this I thought I would try.I was really surprised that a "perfume deodorant" could be this good! There's no bad odor and I'm staying dry during the day, nor has my sensitive skin reacted to this.
I like the smell Cashmere Mist, but that is the one thing that I think might keep people away from this, the smell is quite strong.
The price is quite high compared to other deodorants, but if if this one works flawless is worth it for me!

I like the packaging.....that's about it. In order to like this product you need to love the smell of DK Cashmere Mist, because that is all you will smell the rest of the day. This scent overides my perfume, body lotion and my aveda hair products. A woman in yoga class was noticably wearing this, and it made me a little sick. It was the heat the B.O. and cashmere mist all mixed up doing it's thing, and it was gross. But I like the package, it looks like something special.

I admit I do not perspire a lot, but there are times when my deo has 'failed'. I decided to spring for this, but now I don't consider it a luxury item. I have never felt so dry for so long. After a gym session - bone dry. The little scent is there but not overpowering. It's really barely noticeable. I would recommend this to anyone who has heavy perspiration.
I will prob. buy a 2nd one for my travel kit. Worth every cent, ladies.

Echoing the positive reviews already given for this product, I too really appreciate the way this product performs. Cashmere Mist deodorant is my go-to product when I know I'll be in really humid conditions or in conditions where I need a deodorant/antiperspirant that absolutely won't fail on me. This product has less of the active ingredient (15.4%) aluminum zirconium tetrachlorohydrex Gly than do drugstore deodorants in my supply (example, Mitchums has 20% of this ingredient) but it performs better and more reliably. Compared to my Mitchum's 48-Hour strength, silica is higher on the ingredient list in the Cashmere Mist, which may account for some of the difference, if silica functions in the same way under the arms as it does in a face powder. When I wear a sleeveless top, Cashmere Mist deodorant is my only fragrance. It is a very ladylike smooth scent, and goes better with the Cashmere Mist EDT than the EDP, in my opinion, and goes extremely well with the Cashmere Mist body lotion. When sleeveless, this can act as one's stand-alone fragrance, a close-to-you scent that is comforting and delicate. If I am wearing sleeves, which better hides the scent, I can wear any other fragrance at the same time. This does leave white marks on black clothing so I use care when dressing, but I've never found an underarm product that doesn't leave white marks. The only downside, and it is one unique to me perhaps, is that this causes the eczema patches under my arms to flare up if I wear this daily; that isn't necessarily a strike against this product alone, however, because I have to use caution with any scented body product for that very reason. Considering its top-level performance, I have no qualms paying the cost of this.

UPDATE: Now that we are in the colder winter months, I gave this another try, and I really like it. The scent is more "polite" and not so far-reaching as it was in the summer. I will probably wear it throughout the winter and switch to something else when the temperatures start to rise again.
ORIGINAL REVIEW:
I bought this recently and have worn it twice. Most recently, I wore it to an all-day social event. I had it on from about 6 am to 11 pm on a hot and humid day (i.e., lots of sweating).
First, I will say that this product controls body odor better than any other deodorant I've ever used. It's also non-irritating. I can't wear most antiperspirants--they make me itch. But this one didn't bother me at all.
Normally, I wear Dove antiperspirant. It's gentle and controls odor better than deodorant-only products I've used. But after a few hours, it stops working.
Not so with Cashmere mist. It controlled odor even through the next morning.
But I took away 2 stars because there are some downsides:
1. It left white marks on my black camisole. Luckily, I was able to wipe away the marks with a damp cloth.
2. The scent is nice, but too strong in my opinion. I disagree that it wouldn't interfere with other perfumes. Maybe it would mix nicely with some scents, but it is definitely not going to fade into the background. When I wear this deodorant, I consider it my "perfume" for the day, and even then, I'm concerned about the scent invading other peoples' space.
I will keep this around for those days when I need strong odor protection, but it will not be an everyday deodorant for me.

Very good deodorant, you know how some leave your armpits smelling grody because you can smell the sweat underneath the deodorant? This doesn't do that. This smells lovely, it smells creamy and soft. And it leave you non-stinky. Even through a muggy NYC summer.

I bought this because of the high ratings and my favorite gurus on YT love this scent. I ordered it from Nordstroms and was so excited when it arrived. Then I smelled it and it reminded me initially of baby powder. It was sweet. After a while, it had a musky smell...like body odor. It was very repulsive to me and I could smell it all day! I kept asking my family if I smelled musky, and they kept answering NO. It must be my nose and my chemistry, but this did not work smell wise. As far as an antiperspirant, it worked well, but so do many other brands w/o the steep price. I would not buy this again. That sweet musky smell is too much to bear. Sorry!

I wasn't really in the market for a new deodorant, as my trusty Ban Sweet Surrender always does the trick. But like most girls, I just wanted something new! I love DK Cashmere Mist Liquid Nude, but never really paid much attention to the regular Cashmere Mist fragrance.
Anywho, this deodorant has a lovely scent that lingers all day and keeps moisture at bay just as well as any other deo. I can't speak about the whiteness transferring onto black clothing, as I don't wear dark colors too often. It is pricey for a deodorant, but the cylindrical tube (something I had to get used to) has a pretty thick amount of product, and most deos last me a good while anyway.
If you love this scent, give it a go! I'll be sure to take the tip from the reviewer below and purchase my next tube from Nordstrom for $13!
*UPDATE!*
As the weather gets warmer and my body heats up, I've noticed that the scent doesn't agree with my body chemistry. It just turns a bit rancid on me. Too bad. :( But, I love it for winter! AND, unfortunately Nordie's has raised their price to $15. Boo!

I love this luxurious powdery deodorant! It's scent lingers on my skin after a long hard day and it truly makes me happy. I bought this at Nordstrom for $13. The sales associate told me they sell so much of this there that they can lower the price to about how much you would pay for a leading drugstore deodorant. There's a reason this is flying off the shelves, don't hesitate to buy this!

Ok, ladies, I've found it, the HG deodorant/antiperspirant. Being a profuse sweater, I have to be very careful about my deodorant. I was standing at the Dillards lingerie counter checking out and they had this on the display. It smelled heavenly and I asked the salesgirl what she knew about it. She said she loved it and it never let her down. All I needed to know so I bought one, to the tune of $18. Put it on that night before bed and nearly couldn't sleep because the perfume in the deo was so strong. Not one to give up, I put it on again the next morning after my shower and shave (it did not sting or hurt my skin, applying it right after shaving) and the scent didn't seem nearly so overwhelming. Kept me dry and comfortable all day, with a hint of the scent lingering. I love it so much that I decided to do some research and see if there were any other high-end stick deodorants in my favorite perfumes. No such luck, which is a darn shame. I will continue to use this deo and will probably buy my daughters and sister each one so they can enjoy it, too. Highly recommend!

Absolutely hate the smell of this. Powdery, old-lady-ish. If it performed like no other, I might see if I could somehow tolerate the scent, but it doesn't. I felt clammy all day while wearing this. The only bonus for me was that it's a stick and there is no waiting for it to dry. The scent stays with you all day and lingers in clothing, so if you don't care for it, don't buy this. I'm not sure how some say it doesn't compete with other scents...it was so overpowering to me.

This is an excellent product for the woman who doesn't want to smell like baby powder, fake flowers, or burnt sugar, all scents that are FAR to prevalent in female deodorant these days. The smell is quite soft and similar to the perfume. I have had *no* skin problems with this deodorant (and I'm prone to both very dry under-arm skin and dermatitis in general). Sophisticated, works well, and not *too* expensive. A definite repurchase for me.
Me: 45, favor herbal/floriental/oriental fragrances. N/d skin, not any known allergies but prone to dermatitis when stressed.

I tried this deo originally because I received a travel size sample. It is amazing.! I tend to sweat quite a lot, as it's hot and muggy about 8 months of the year in Texas. This deodorant doesn't fail halfway through my day, no matter what I'm doing.
Sure, it's 2-3X as much $ as drugstore deodorant, but it smells amazing and works better than anything I'd used prior. I've repurchased a couple of times since, and I hope it's not discontinued!

The best deodorant I've tried! Most of the drugstore deodorants just seem to mix with the smell of body odor, they don't actually cover it. This one covers it great and I love the smell! It also does a great job of keeping my underarms dry. It's a little pricier than your average drugstore deodorant but I don't mind it because it works great for me.
