I love to use a makeup wipe before cleaning my face with face wash and my clarisonic. I just like getting most of my makeup off first. These wipes are horrible! Even as a step before cleansing. I can barely see any makeup on the wipe when I use it. Want to get mascara off? Forget about it! I thought I had gotten a dud pack because they don't feel very moist(besides the strange residue on your face after), so I purchased another pack and realized they are just not for me. I have only tried a few different brands/wipes but they were all much better than these. Would not recommend. The Olay sensitive wet cleansing cloths are my favorite.

Well this is my third review after using it for a while.
These towelettes are a complete godsend. I used St Ives Makeup Remover and Facial Cleanser for years, but unfortunately this product was stopped being available in my area. I'm over 50 and extremely sensitive skin especially around the eyes and wear contacts. I became frantic on what to try. Read all the reviews about this product, and gave it a shot. Been using these for about two weeks and I'm now a convert. These are amazing, clean ALL makeup off completely and is refreshing and gentle to skin, especially around the eyes. I do not use a cleaner over these towelettes, but I guess you could if you felt you needed to.

Good for quick makeup removing. My skin feels a little oily afterward, but they do work well!

Not a fan. It did remove some make-up but I didn't like the packaging. After a few times the glue dries up and the package doesn't seal properly, thus drying out the cloths. I also dislike the texture of the cloths, as I found them to be too harsh. Also, I had to wash my face after using these anyway, because it leaves some sticky residue. Will not be repurchasing.

These are great wipes for removing stubborn waterproof mascara. You still need to be very gentle since you don't want to tug and pull and your eyes, and it does take many gentle swipes with one of these wipes to remove your mascara, but it is a great product. I still use my Ponds Cold Cream to remove my makeup (foundation, blush, etc.) but the wipes are great for mascara and other eye makeup. I find this pretty pricey, but CVS has these on sale frequently and I can often find a coupon to pair with it. Have also bough CVS's version of this and while it don't think it is quite as good, it is much cheaper and works pretty well.

I keep these wipes on hand when I am too lazy and tired to cleanse my face after a long night. They take off waterproof eye makeup reasonably well, though there's typically a bit of eye makeup residue left as I don't want to tug my eye area too much in the process of using these wipes. One wipe tends to do the job to take off a full face of makeup. I would take these with me on a trip or flight because they are consistently good. I haven't yet found the refill/travel packaging bad at all and none of the wipes have dried out thus far. I feel less guilty whenever I use these in lieu of properly washing my face with cleanser and water; at least I won't be going to bed with my makeup on.

Well, the wipes did the job and removed my make up, but it stung my eyes. They hurt so much I was really worried I'd damaged my skin around my eyes. Thankfully there was no swelling or blemishes, just some redness and irritation.

I don't know how well the packaging will keep the towelettes moist. I am putting it in a separate ziplock bag just in case, but that's another mark in the minus column.

I liked the smell and it did work well, but the pain around my eyes was too much. I suppose I can use them up on my neck and other parts of my face, but I won't be repurchasing.

The problem with this is not the actual product but the packaging. The seal doesn't hold and the wipes dry out. I had to rehydrate them with regular makeup remover to use them. Huggies baby wipes work much better and are a lot cheaper.

DO NOT BUY THIS PRODUCT. i have very dry skin usually. and sometimes when im on the run i only have time to remove my makeup and then apply fresh makeup. so i bought these wipes to clean off the old. immediately i could feel the oily residue on my hands and it left an oily sheen on my usually too dry face. and when i tried to apply my makeup it wouldnt stay on. if you use this wash your face after. kind of defeating the purpose of the wipes. i would avoid this product all together.

I didn't like these at all. They weren't very wet and didn't seem to remove my makeup at all. I felt like I was really tugging at my skin, too. Very disappointed. I will not repurchase this product.

These wipes are very effective at removing makeup and waterproof mascara. The cloths are very moist and soft however, they are highly fragranced so I will not be re-purchasing them. Also, they leave a very oily feel on the skin. I immediately wash with another cleanser after I use these.

3-4 days after using these wipes on my face I get horrible cystic type zits that take weeks to heal. They're great for eye make up removal, but as far as everything else I would not recommend using them.

omg these were awful!! I had been wary that these might end up being too greasy for my face because as an ingredient-list-scavenger, I have found that palmimates usually clog me up and I avoid them in result. But I decided to try these after a friend recced them and after seeing how popular they were everywhere so I tried them out...well 3-4 days later, I got huge deep breakouts where I never even break out at all!! I mean, I had quite a monster form in between my eyebrows and I had a scatter of big red zits all located on my upper lip!! I immediately knew it was the wipe b/c it was the only thing I changed in my routine and I wiped it on my upper lip but probably forgot to wash my upper lip off with face cleanser b/c I ALWAYS wash off wipe residue. Nonetheless, still got a big honker on my forhead where I washed this off and overall my face felt SO BUMPY all the while I used this, so that was depressing. I have since went back to the big cosmetic no-no of using unscented baby wipes to remove makeup and ever since then my face has cleared up and healed over completely!!

This is a good makeup remover. I still tend to use an eye makeup remover but this is good for removing powder, liquid and cream foundation from the face.

These are the best make up wipes I have ever used. These are the only towelettes moist enough to remove all of my make up in one towel. Sometimes I have a little bit of foundation/concealer left behind, but instead of wasting another wipe I use some cotton pads and some toner, and it takes care of the small trace left behind :) These don't dry out my skin, they are really soothing and I really love the way they smell. I've been using these for like 4 years. My only complaint is the sticker, I wish I could close the box because it would keep the towelettes much more moist. They also are really good at removing my eye make up.I kinda feel like these are expensive because I wish they gave you more wipes, and I'm usually too tired to wash my face most nights. but these are awesome :) highly recommend.

This removed all my makeup well except for waterproof mascara. I had to go over my lashes repeatedly and even with the first few swipes, my lashes would come off which is not the case when I use Neutrogena's Oil-Free Make Up Remover. It's handy to take on a trip, but I'd have to change my mascara to use it!

Picked up a mini pack of these for a trip. Unfortunately, I should have stuck with the Ponds or yestocucumbers wipes. They did a good job of removing all makeup traces - even mascara, but these wipes also burned my skin and left a weird residue and puffy eyes the next morning. My skin and eyes can be sensitive, but still. I gave them to a friend who was on the trip with me and she ended up with a fine rash on her face after a second use. Stay away.

I generally don't have sensitive skin. Never broke out from anything but these. Yes, they do the job they're supposed to do, but at what cost to me? And even on Revlon Colorstay foundation, I washed my face with an exfoliating scrubby pad and I was still washing it off after having used the makeup remover wipes. My face feels oily after using them, and it feels wet and gross. I don't recommend them. I bought a big box of them after hearing rave reviews, and I'm now stuck with about 90 wipes.. Not counting the same box size box my mother bought and had the very same results. I've never had acne, and it just doesn't run in the family, so I'm sure that it's these wipes!

I have terrible skin – acne prone with active breakouts. I use makeup to cover up what I can during the day when I’m out and about. At the end of the day that makeup needs to come off! Cleansers have never done the job so I decided to invest in makeup removing wipes.

I actually had a friend remove eyeliner from my lower lash line with these years ago and it BURNED. Fast forward to more recent times I was in Vegas with the same friend and she still uses this stuff to get rid of her makeup. Giving it another go, I used one of from a travel size pack she had and wowwwwwww.
Foundation? Off.
Eyeshadow? Off, no problems at all
Waterproof mascara? BE GONE!
Waterproof eyeliner? Wiped off like water from a table…AND IT DIDN’T BURN!

Maybe my eye isn’t so sensitive anymore since I wear eyeliner on my waterline all the time so that’s why it doesn’t burn? Who knows, this stuff is amazing and I’m glad the sensitivity of it on my eyes is a mere memory.

The scent isn’t overbearing and it does leave an EVER SO SLIGHTLY sticky residue but that’s fine since I always follow-up with my cleanser and facial care routine.

If you buy these packs individually it’s around $6 for 25 sheets I believe at target but sweet ‘ol costco sells these bad boys in a nice bulk pack – 4 packs of the 25 sheets plus 3 travel sized ones all for the comfy affordable price of ~$14! What a steal :> as long as I can keep buying these at such a great deal I’m gonna keep using them.
If you’re hesitant to buy the 25 sheets pack then pick up the travel sized ones [7 sheets per pack] at your local drugstore for ~$3!
