Definitely a classic.
Opens up with a burst of saltiness and sourness, probably due to the top notes of blackcurrants and green apples. Then, after 20 minutes or so, peach and cream comes into play, giving a beautiful romantic feel to this fragrance. There is also a hint of muskiness and woodiness, which gives you the feeling of stepping into a forest. The dry down is woody and mildly sweet due to the vanilla.
Lasts over 12 hours on my skin that eats up fragrance. Definitely a keeper.
I can get a 100ml (3.4 fl oz) size for S$58++ here, which is around 50USD.

This is the reason why I don't buy fragrances based on reviews -everyone's body chemistry is different. This fragrance smells amazing on my best friend and totally hideous on me. I love warm vanilla scents. Some time back they launch this fragrance in a 'summer' version. That version I love s much, unfortunately it was a limited edition. So back to this fragrance, it has a distinct scent of vanilla and worm by my best friend it exudes the feeling of warmest, rich and approachable. I would imagine something that Reese Witherspoon or Jennifer Anniston would wear. She gets so many complements wearing this fragrance. On my skin smells cheap and old ladyish.

I am on my second bottle and I love this perfume! It's unique.
It reminds me of a fragrance that has been discontinued long time ago, from lancome, a summer fragrance called Delight.
It's a warm perfume that good for summer as well in winter. Not to overpowering yet very feminine and sexy.
I love the bottle, it's not so breakable.

I tried the Burberry EDP at Ulta today. It smells GOOOD. I wish the bottle were prettier, but I still might just have to go out and buy this. It's one of the sexiest perfumes I've smelled in a long time.

I've been wearing D&G Light Blue for 10 years and love it. However, I've been searching for a perfume that I like just as much so that I can switch things up now and then. After trying and buying countless other perfumes ranging from Prada Candy to Chanel Chance Au Tendre, I think I have found a winner. I smelled this on a woman at the mall and asked her what she was wearing. It smelled fresh but with a hint of musk and wasn't overwhelming or headache inducing. I immediately went home and ordered a bottle from Amazon without ever trying it on first. Risky, I know but it was worth it! I love this fragrance. I put it on at 8am and when my husband comes home from work at 7pm he can still smell it on me. If you are looking for something fresh and warm with a hint of spice, look no further.

I like this scent - a pretty, sparkling peachy vanilla but it has no staying power at all especially for an edp. Fortunately I have now discovered JS Fancy Love which, thought softer is very similar but cheaper and it lasts all day. Would not repurchase the Burberry unless,I could not get Fancy Love

This is such a gorgeous scent. I love it in the winter months, like most people. But I'm not opposed to wearing it anytime. It's a mature scent, but not old lady-like; especially after it dries down. It's a nice switch from the Lucky You of my late-teens and early-20s!

This is a very unique scent that I love, but can understand why others may not like it and think it is an old lady scent. It is a spicy, warm, winter fragrance, as others have said, and hard to describe. Especially if they like sweet, candy type perfumes. Even though it's a bit expensive, I have already repurchased.

I've had this fragrance maybe 5-6 years, my daughter was in college. I love this scent. I only wear it in the winter time, move it up front when the weather gets cold, staying power is hours 6-8, dry down is a nice warm vanilla amber maybe. I will always have a bottle if I ever get through my original. A nice scent, nothing crazy wow about it, but something nice to always come back to.

This is one of the only perfumes that doesn't bother me and give me allergic reactions. My mother is severely allergic to scents and this surprisingly doesn't affect her at all.. I really don't wear perfume or particularly know a lot about it, but I think it's a really unique scent and it's not too "in-your-face". My bottle is a couple years old and hasn't spoiled or gotten funky, so that's a bonus if you're not a frequent fragrance wearer. I'm always a little scared to wear perfume in public because I feel like it generally bothers people, but this I can feel a little more comfortable wearing.

I feel a bit guilty giving this fragrance a negative review, since I mostly have heard/read great things about it... I received this as a gift a couple of years ago and have honestly tried to make it work for me very, very hard! In different seasons, climates and circumstances. Unfortunately, by now it's clear it's not going to happen for me:(. Wearing it now (latest attempt to change my mind on it) and I just don't like it. So sad and weird because I do seem to like most other Burberry scents much better but have been stuck with this. I would love to put my finger on the note(s) that turns me off, but don't seem to be able to single it (them) out. This fragrance just doesn't make me feel pretty... Clearly it works a lot better for most other ladies! For reference, I love L'Instant de Guerlain, Noa by Cacharel, Daisy Eau so Fresh.

Great scent for cold days cause it's so sweet and makes you feel cosy. sweet in a slightly sexy, naughty way, not a naive way. the price is pretty fair on Amazon, especially with the 100ml bottle. The packaging is simple, looks like a unisex bottle but it's definitely a feminine scent.

I've been on the hunt for "my" fragrance the last 5 or 6 years. My system whent haywhire after being pregent with our son and then being blessed with twin girls just 23 months later. Son is 14 years old now, girls are 12 so I've been feeling like my olofactory abilities are finally coming back to me now. Proior to being pregnant with our first I was big time into Donna Karan Cashmere Mist. By my 6th week of pregrancy it all had to be packed up into a closet, in hopes that it too, like coffee, would be a delight to me again soon instead of somehing that makes you bark out to someone "GET IT OUT OF HERE". I did quite well with Calvin Klein Obsession for MEN - it was fabulous on me, so many complements. This was back in the late 80s early 90s, I've picked it up again recently and it seems the forumlation has changed, smelled cheap or off in the bottle. Oh well, I also used to love Casmir by Choppard and going further back, K de Krizia was good to me for a number of years. Sum up by saying, I've spent the last 5 or 6 years handing around Sephora, getting samples, hating the samples, washing my wrists the moment I get home - yuk. A very wise woman at Lord & Talor spent some time asking me questions and she narrowed it down. One was the new Lady GaGa fragrance - yuk. The other was something else too sweet, then she came round with the original Burberry. It is fabulous. When I wear it I smell my wrists all day. I do wish hit had a bit more staying power, I'll see if they make a scented body lotion to help it along. I'm really enjoying it!

I do not usually go for the fruity scents. I am more of a spice girl, with patchouli the protagonist. Burberry classic is however a delicious scent, a grown up fruity perfume if you will. The dry down is a warm vanilla (thats the main note I pick up). I find myself smelling my wrists constantly. It's a keeper for me and I have found myself reaching for it more than I expected. A nice change of pace for me.

I first smelled this on my cousin back in college, and thought it was one of the most divine fragrances I had ever smelled. Luckily, it also agreed with my chemistry. The top notes actually don't blow me away, and if I had just smelled it in a store, I probably wouldn't have bought it. However, it evolves into a lovely, warm, vanilla-floral, and is probably the most complex fragrance I've ever tried. I'm not that good at picking up all the different notes in most fragrances, but even I can detect them in this one. Overall, a fantastic fragrance.

After reading almost all of the reviews here and on Fragrantica, I decided to give this fragrance a shot. I tested it thoroughly at Sephora and could see why so many people liked it. Honestly, you can't go wrong with it, I have yet to encounter someone who dislikes it. I've received many compliments on it, being such a warm and alluring scent. Sweet, but not candy-sweet or cloying, warm, but without giving you a headache. You can smell some flowers (probably white) and the vanilla. A very yummy scent without being foody. You will not smell like a bakery, but something wonderful and delightful.
Cozy, warm, comfortable, delicious, sweet - this is how I would describe it. Good for wear all year round, more so in colder months when the full of its deliciousness comes out.
Longevity and sillage are good, more than half a day. I got it from a discount online store so the price was a bit cheaper than at Sephora. Not by much though, this is an expensive and rather hard to find fragrance. I didn't see it at any other perfumery except Sephora.

To me this is pre- Burberry Brit Scent. It has similar notes. I like it but the packaging makes me feel old and so not modern, but it's lovely if you like Brit but you feel it's too heavy, this is a level down.

Wow. So unique. What I like about Burberry perfumes is that their so unique, none of them smell the same.I love that this shares a lot of the same notes as Brit, but they smell totally different, and twisted with a different approach.
While Brit if more feminine, spicy, and sweet Classic is barley any of these. I would say this perfume is very mossy and almost smells like grass, not green grass though. That sounds off-puttish but let me assure you it's not.
This scent smells very natural, almost like it's not a perfume at all. This may be because all the notes in this person are natural smelling (tokna bean, amber, moss, vanilla) I barely smell the vanilla, it's feels like it's hiding but you know it's there.
I did a review on this before, originally not in love with it but now I have to say this perfume is truly a Classic in the Burberry audition despite the obvious name.
This is a unisex fragrance. Honestly, I'm surprised this scent wasn't geared toward men in the first place.

So, I got this perfume for my birthday because I have an obsession with burberry fragrance (I have Brit, London, Body, Weekend, The Beat, etc. etc.). Anyhoo, I tried this on the second I opened it and I thought, "Woof! this smells like the pool." So I shrugged it off and just continued going about my day, but about an hour later, all of a sudden, DEAR LORD! What is this god-given scent?!?! I realized it was the perfume and I basically had to sit down because I was so excited. This scent is so unique and interesting. However, I do realize it is not for everyone, but I think it smells like being deep in the woods in Britain. IT'S GREAT!!! So if you have brains, this is a MUST. And it's not even that expensive so it's pretty much a steal!
