Aww..why does this not get much love here? I am so crazy about this body butter! It smells SO yummy! Perhaps scents are YMMV and therefore it's a love or hate for this as the body butter is quite heavily scented. I smell mostly vanilla and it smells like frosting and cakes. The smell lasts all day long but it doesn't have a great sillage like perfume. No one will be able to smell ya unless they come super close and take a good whiff.

There are 3 different scents: lemon and sage (it's okay but not really my type of scent), blood orange + white pepper (nice and citrusy, I might try this next. very refreshing) and of course this. Vanilla + bergamot is a nice bedtime scent, very relaxing. I am finally recovering from a bout of eczema (after 2 yrs) and this cream moisturises my dry spots nicely and doesn't irritate my skin. It is very creamy so a little goes a long way. I slather this heavenly goodness on after my bath so that its humectants trap the highest possible level of hydration. This is good for dry skin that needs hydration because it stays on all day.

The tiffany blue packaging is pretty but it is hard to get the body butter out. I have to squeeze the tube pretty hard and it is mangled already. Hopefully they will consider making this with a pump packaging, that would be awesome.

I want to buy the body scrub and body wash and smell like this all day long. I wish this was packaged as a perfume or body spray. If anyone knows of a perfume that smells like this please tell me!

I am not generally I vanilla scent person, preferring fresher florals I.e. gardenia. This butter however is great. The scent is real vanilla rather than a synthetic candy smell. The butter could do with being a little thicker but it absorbs easily and leaves a lingering scent which smell sexy and natural

I love the whole line of body butter by Bliss labs. I live in dry weather and love how moisturizing they are and not greasy. The smell is not too over powering. The tube is easy to use. I wish they were a bit cheaper though.

My first Bliss body butter was lovely snow-series few years ago. One of the best body butters ever. That was limited edition. Next I ordered Lemon and sage, still very moisturizing, but I don't like lemon that much. Then I finally got Vanilla and bergamot, and I really like the natural vanilla, and bergamot is quite unique. First time I tried this butter I went out without any other fragrance and thought who is wearing this lovely scent until I discovered that it was my body butter. I don't need much moisturizers on summertime, but when winter arrives, this is a must. I use bergamot and other aromatherapy home scents, and I think the ones who use natural home scents, might like this as well. Bliss body butters work really well on winter, colder climates

Love this stuff. Usually I wouldnt like anything with bergamot in it, but this smells so good. Its a sexy vanilla, perfect for bed. Its sweet but not foody. The body butter is moisturizing and the scent lasts for hours. My only prob with it is its a bit pricey, but I just try to find a good deal!

Unlike a lot of other reviewers I don't mind the smell of this product. Earl grey tea is my favorite so maybe that's why I love the bergamot scent. However, I didn't find this as moisturizing as I expected for such a pricey product. It's greasy but it doesn't seem to absorb in my skin. It's like my skin is just as dry as normal, but with a thin layer of oil on top. It should be described as a light lotion instead of a body butter, although it does have a very thick consistency. This is nowhere near as amazing as the body butters from The Body Shop.

OK, I actually like the smell of vanilla mixed with bergamot. I find it to be very unique and sexy. It smells like a walk past some vanilla orchids on a beautiful summer day. It’s definitely an acquired taste though. I find its moisturizing properties to be stellar.

I like the tube -- more sanitary and easier to use than a tub. I like the moisturizing quality. I like the initial vanilla scent -- smells like real vanilla, not too sweet or fake. But I dislike the bergamont/herbly part of the fragrance. It makes the nice vanilla smell chemically. I bought this at Sephora and I think it will go back. I'm still looking for that perfect vanilla-scented moisturizer -- so far, Lush's Sympathy and Sephora brand Vanilla Cupcake are my favorites.

This is a very moisturizing cream, but I really do not care for the fragrance. I love gourmand scents, and was hoping this was going to smell like a foody-type vanilla, but it doesn't. In fact, I didn't detect any vanilla at all. To me, it smells chemically. It sinks in quickly, and makes my skin feel very soft. I was fortunate enough to received a 1.7 oz size in a swap so I could try it. I feel that there are moisturizers out there that do the same thing and smell better for less money. At the time of this review, this product is $35 for 8.5 oz.

I have to say that there is something about this butter that I just don't like- and I love all of teh Bliss butters- but then I realized it's the fragrance. I found it to be too sweet, I was not impressed.

I love everything about this cream!! The scent is amazing - not overpowering, but just the right combination of vanilla and floral. Since it's a body butter, it's very moisturizing, but absorbs easily without feeling greasy. It's definitely a luxurious treat and worth every penny!!

This smells awful and is greasy. It doesn't sink in to my skin completely (even my dry legs and feet), so it doesn't so much good moisturizing. It's pretty gross, overall.

My neighbor works for Bliss and gave me this to try. The scent is not really my style..don't really smell any vanilla in it but did grow on me. IMO you could get same quality of product for less money at Bath and Body Works. Don't think I will dish out the $35 to have again.

horribly overpriced. you're better off buying something from avon or the drugstore. this stuff does an okay job of moisturizing but all in all don't waste your money on bliss brands unless you want to spend a fortune.

Ooohhh Nooooo... this stuff is soooo oily and overscented, and I am not especially averse to highly scented products. This lotion is like having a very loud, obnoxious other person in the room.

i have been using this product for years mainly because i loved the soft vanilla fragrance that seemed to stay with you all through the day, but lately there seems to have been a major change in the fragrance. it is difficult to notice much fragrance at all, and the fragrance i do detect is nothing like it used to be. i don't know what bliss is doing to this lotion, but is is defititely not the same. i will not purcase it again.

I love Bliss body products and the butters never fail. This is a great scent if you love vanilla, not too sweet. The texture is great and it keeps skin moisturized.

I bought this mainly because of the fragrance, which I absolutely adore. It smells so soft and sensual. I love practically anything with vanilla, and although I love this scent too, it's definately a different vanilla. It's a subtly spicy and somewhat earthy vanilla. As for the body butter itself, I actually do love it. I have used the Plum Plum body butter before, and remembered it as being a bit greasy and a bit too thick for my skin. But this one, although rich and thick and creamy, isn't too greasy at all, IMO. It leaves my skin comfortably moist, soft, and smooth. I usually try out new products all of the time, even if have already found products that I love, so when I run out of this, I will definately come back to it eventually.

Okay, the first time I spluuurrgged on this ( over 30 bucks for a tube- things you don't really mention to spouse) I LOVED the way it smelled & how quickly it was absorbed. My husband loved the way it smelled, I felt very sensuous with it on. One of a kind scent ( I can totally see how you either love it or hate it) - Moisturizing abilities were...not $32 worth I will admit that ( I have super dry skin & have the best luck with Neutrogena's Sesame scented body lotion or Huggie's Shea butter for babies..go figure )
ANYWAY the next time I bought this the smell was off. It smelled really plasticy & generic. Like a bad bad version of what I just finished at home. It was really strange & I tried to exchange it at Sephora but the sales associate was really confused by my dilema and need to smell all of her product - so I returned it and haven't looked back

The Packaging was pretty, BUT I hate those last few squeezes, I've got goop all over my hands and the thing all twisted up like a pretzel, it makes for danger and comedy at the same time.

If I knew it could smell like the 1st time I would let someone "gift" me this again.
