I have been trying all sorts of mascaras since I got into makeup (both drugstore and high end brands) and had the same problem with every single one - they smeared on my undereye area. Dunno if I squint a lot, or what, but this mascara is thus far the only one that never, ever smears.

This mascara claims to give a false lash look. I never wear falsies, so I can't comment on that; it does, however, give a pretty dramatic look. It kinda ends up looking like doll's lashes, if that makes any sense. It isn't my favorite lash look, but it is still pretty.

The price of this stuff hurts my wallet, but I'll definitely buy again. It's worth it to not have black smears on my cheeks halfway through the day.

I really wanted to LOVE this product, but I prefer Doll Eyes by Lancome. Classic Hypnose is not bad, it's good for everyday use. It gives me "bigger eyes", a little bit lenghtens my lashes, but for that price and with such a reputation I was expecting something more. When wearing it I nearly look like I'm not wearing mascara at all. If I should define it with one word, it would be - classic. And my feelings about this mascara are purely neutral.

HG mascara and let me tell you I have tried almost every mascara from drugstore to high end.

It lengthens, thickens and darkens my lashes perfectly. I never get any clumps or have any difficulty applying. The wand separates my lashes with ease and I love it for the bottom lashes as well.

I have been asked what mascara I use and told my lashes look "perfect." I wore this mascara on my wedding day. No need for falsies! It gives me that gorgeous dramatic lash look I've always been after!! At the same time, I can tone it down with one coat for a more natural look.

It is expensive, but I will 110% repurchase once I run out. I've been using it for a couple of months and the formula is still amazing. Super easy to take off with my Neutrogena oil free eye makeup remover. Worth the money!!

I am a fan of Lancome mascaras, in general. Definicils is my top choice and the only reason I recently used Hypnose is that Definicils was out of stock at Sephora and I needed a new mascara. Although I liked this mascara, I found the formula to be too "wet" for my liking and it produced lots of wet lumps & clumps on my sparse lashes and required lots of cleanup around my eyes. It does add volume but it's too messy for me. I have to wait for it to dry. I also found the end result to be too fake looking but I personally prefer a more natural look.

This mascara can elongate your lashes and make them look thicker. Your lashes will not look natural though. They will look very fake. The formula is also not that good. It clumps a lot. I'm not a fan of this, especially since it's pricey.

All in all, an overpriced product. I can't say I think it does anything noticeably spectacular, or is of higher quality to high street/drugstore brands.

I can't really fault it's general performance too much; it does what you'd expect from a mascara; it does curl and lengthen the lashes, and thickens them too... But not enough to be charging over £20, in my opinion.

I found it to be reasonably clumpy, and seemed to make my lashes go in odd directions, from time to time. It wasn't tragic, but like I said, not what you'd expect for £22.

If you're after a higher end mascara that actually does work wonders, I'd recommend Benefit Roller Lash or They're Real. I'd say that Maybelline and Max Factor mascaras are also superior to this one; they curl lashes better, coat them better, and add more volume and lift.

Not a bad product, just a waste.

30.00 its JUST mascara is really dumb they just screwed you over I got a sample of this and didn't find anything that justifies that price. I can find the same results for 12.00. even if it was that amazing I still can't justify spending 30.00 for mascara.

I got a mini version of this as a gift with purchase I find it gives volume length and separation it's a good all round mascara but nothing that would make me purchase a full size.

Gave me plenty of volume. My lashes were very noticeably fuller and longer. More of a matte/smoky black than a rich patent black. I'm not a huge fan of the applicator because the post-application results were a bit spidery. I used a clean wand to separate/de-clump my lashes.

I thought I reviewed this already. But I only reviewed the other types of Hypnose: Drama, Doll Lashes and Star. This is the best one. The others are not as good! This is my second favourite mascara after Chanel Le Volume. I have nothing to say about it that is negative. It is nearly perfect in every way. Because it is really on a par with Chanel, I give it top marks. I will always buy this. It took me years to realize that the cheaper mascaras cannot do the job the way Lancome does. This is a high quality product and it's worth the price.
