This is the only NYX product I own that I dislike. It's so had to get it to show some color, it just doesn't work not even with a base. I would not buy it again.

This eyeshadow was a huge disappointment I am usually amazed by NYX products but this was a huge fail. Its exteremely chalky and i have to layer it to get any color to show. I only use it as a base so it won't go to waste. I would not purchase again.

This is just plain bad. First of all, I love NYX lipsticks, so I thought their other products might be of equal quality.I'd heard so many good things about NYX eye-shadows, that they were even comparable to MAC. (Hahaha! They wish!) I have no problem with them not being top drawer products, but I could barely get any opacity out of this shadow, even after applying layer upon layer. The texture was chalky as well. I returned it. I will say that the staying power was pretty good, though. But what's the point, if there's hardly and color to begin with?

I generally like NYX, it has cute, fun, kicky colors for cheap. However, this product is a total fail. It has NO color at all...no matter what I do to it. I've tried it wet, dry, over primer, no cigar! The powder fell out of the pan, the package is ugly, I just can't win with this particular shadow at all....it should be called Clear and Useless. Oh well.

Awful, awful product. It's not pigmented (even with primer!) and the color doesn't apply very evenly, in my experience. I bought it for a Halloween outfit because I had heard good things about NYX eyeshadows. I will be returning this and I might not buy another NYX product again.

Maybe I got a bad batch or something but this stuff sucks!
It is so chalky and has ZERO pigmentation. I basically just use it to help blend colors together. Definitely a let down considering I have many other amazing NYX eye shadows.

If you are looking for a super pigmented white shadow, this probably isn't for you. But if you're like me, and want a shadow for brightening the inner eye area or need a neutral highlight color for pale skin, you should love this. I've found that white shadows that are super pigmented tend to be very chalky. This is not. At least not for me.

I tried this and thought it was terrible. I agree with the previous poster that it's very chalky and not pigmented at all. I tried using it as a highlighter and on my inner corner, and it hardly showed at all. I even tried packing a thick layer on the back of my hand just to see, and what little was there just looked like a pile of chalk dust. I had a similarly poor experience with one of their other single colors. I like some of their products, but wouldn't buy another single eyeshadow. This was disappointing and luckily I was able to return it.

Horrible!! I don't know why this is receiving such positive reviews, honestly this product is garbage.
Virtually no pigmentation and very chalky.
I did a swatch over eyeshadow primer on my arm, and after packing shadow on several times it's still very sheer.
I tried swatching the white from Eva Longoria's L'Oreal palette next to it, and with one swipe it's ten times as pigmented (though it is frosty).
I wouldn't recommend this product to anyone. I paid seven dollars for it today and want to throw it out already.

I am sort of lost with this one. Everyone raves about the pigment & its comparison to gesso but i just dont see it. I find this eyeshadow has minimal pigmentation, i find it a little chalky too. It worked a lot better when it was wet but overall i just dont see why everyone likes this eyeshadow so much. Its too much hard work of packing on the product.

I have 2 NYX whites. One I bought 2 years ago as a part of a trio (3 round pots) and it sucks. It is blue-while like chalk, not creamy and overall a crappy waste of money. the other one is the square one that you see on the photo here, purchased in Canada in august 2010 in a store that just opened up. The 2nd e/s is AMAZING! nothing like the first one. I was looking for an NYX dupe for MAC jeso and I think that this is so much better in many ways. It is very very slightly a creamy-white that looks like total white but when goes on the skin, since non of us is totally white, compliments the skin so much more. It is very pigmented, creamy application and stays on well. I use it over any primer or over a flush of white pencil. I paid $5 canadian for it in Rexall. Tip: if applied with a web brush it applies like a paste and dries so well it stays put forever. To sum up: don't buy the round old white, but the new white which is actually not complete matte, it is very slightly satin and makes a huge-huge difference between total crap and HG white. I hope it helps, and hi to all the canadians on MUA.

Again very disappointed by NYX e/s. Got this one with the black one. Comes out very chalky and hardly any pigment. Came out very sheer and not good if you plan on using as a highlight. Not worth the couple bucks I spent. Also broke this one hoping the color would be stronger but did not happen, hardly showed. Threw it away as well.

ick, too sheer for my liking, I may need to try applying it wet to get a more stronger colour payoff. I wont be repurching this since it is so sheer and I already have a few highlighter colors (MAC's Vanilla pigment) and I bought this shadow for a high contrast black and white smoky eye look. The packaging is cute - reminds me of Chanel.

It's so smooothhh! It applies like a dream! However, mine is very sheer and I can still see my skin through it. I use it to down down other eyeshadows rather than as an actual color, but hey, it's cheap, has a lot, and is decent quality. I've not yet had a problem with staying power.

I just purchased this recently, as an alternative to my more expensive shadow, and was very pleasantly surprised! It has a creamy texture and the color pay off is excellent in one swipe. I will definitely be stocking up on this one.

This is a very pigmented e/s and soft. I found that its best to use some form of base with it if you have oily lids. I use the NYX pencil in Milk as a base and the place my shadow on. The color stays on all day.

I bought this product looking for a new white colour. I'm a bit disappointed that its a bit chalky/powdery to me. I have to apply a few coats before it will show up as a high light colour. I do use it on the inner corners of my eye and it looks allright.
I probably won't buy this one again.
