This is a fantastic product. I'm a brunette and the fawn shade is a great colour match. I was introduced to the product by the Elizabeth Arden makeup artist, and I'm very thankful as I was struggling to find a natural looking product to define my eyebrows. The pencil products from other brands seemed to give an unnatural harsh line.
This product is also very economical, as you only need a small amount on an angled brush to apply. I imagine this will last me for years, even though I use it on a daily basis. The colour on your brows looks very natural and the staying power is excellent. This gives you a very classic looking brow, without looking overdone. I highly recommend it!

This product is THE BEST for eyebrows. This is perfect for people with half eyebrows. While pencil might be your first thought, this powder is the most natural looking product you can use. It does not even look drawn and it stays on! The included slant brush is just perfect. It is ergonomic and has firm bristles that pick up the right amount of powder and allow for easy application and blending. I had this powder before and it lasted forever. Despite years of daily use, the container was still full. I lost it and couldn't replace it because they stopped carrying my shade, Ebony in Canada (darn it!!). I recently purchased it online, YAY!!
This product is very pigmented which means more bang for you buck so please apply with a very very light hand and then you can darken it according to your desired intensity. It is always better to start with very very soft brows and then adjust the intensity to your desired look. Trust me, this is very pigmented. My brush barely touches the powder and it is very rich. I don't think you can ever run out of this powder. Like me, you will only ever replace a lost (or stolen) one. It really does last forever.
Just a warning if you find yourself wondering, I also got the shade "Natural" Black but its actual color is a blue-greenish grey so I don't use it (feel free to contact for swap). Just wanted to point this out. Great, great product!

Great powder and staying power. This works well with a shaping pencil. First, I use the powder as a base to create the overall shape. Second, I use a pencil to define the shape further for a more precise arch.
I am happy with the pigmentation. In comparison with Lise Watier eyebrow powder, this goes on with just the right amount of pigmentation -- not too light, but light enough that eyebrows do not look drawn in or fake.
Good stuff!

I've been using this product as an eyeliner in both the sable and the black now for about 13 years. I am on my second sable, and just started by third black (only because I dropped the second). Most days I wear the black, with a drop of water, and it gives a really good line. It doesn't tug on your eyelid like pencils, and it is really easy to use, especially compared with gel eyeliners or the felt-tip pens currently around. I have tried them all, and this is the one I keep coming back to. Very occasionally I use it on my eyebrows, and I usually use the eyeliner brush, with water, and just use it to stroke in a bit more definition.

This is the best brow thing I've used - so much more natural looking than pencils! It is quite expensive, but I've given it a "5" for price because one compact basically lasts forever. I'm onto my third, but I lost the first one then dropped the second one on the floor and the powder smashed. If I hadn't done that I'd still be on both of them.
I have very fair eyebrows compared to my hair colour, so to give my face a bit of definition I really do need to use something. I get them tinted too, which is the best, but between tints I use this. I don't usually buy Elizabeth Arden, but for brows I've never seen a comparable product in another brand. Definitely a makeup bag staple.

I don't like my brows to look very harsh, so I gave this brow shaper a go and I loved it!

I've had my little compact of this in blond for about eight years, purchased on eBay on a whim. I put it away for a couple of years and for the past year have been using it again. It really does the job. It's such a soft powder and the tiny angled brush it comes with is nice too.
I honestly can't say I have ever been disappointed in an Elizabeth Arden product. This brand makes ones like Smashbox look like bad drugstore makeup.
I have dark brows, very course, and they grow like weeds and I have to trim them every week. I now have little bald patches and this fills them in very naturally. I can also draw them slightly higher with this or make them look fuller and it's a very soft natural look. I just wish it was a bit more taupey rather than a gold or neutral, yellow blond but that's really nit picking as this is the best out there probably.
Forget about this as eyeliner! I never tried it but who would want a yellow blond eyeliner which goes on as softly as this? But for brows this is the one to get. It will last me the rest of my life. Been using it every day for over a year now and have barely made a dent in it.

If I lost all my make-up, this would be the first thing I would have to replace ASAP! It is by far the most reliable, long lasting and easy to use product I have tried. I work in make-up and in the past I have sent people away from my counter to find this product, because whatever I was selling was not worthy and I knew this was better.
I bought my first one when I was 20 years old, and the only reason I had to buy another one was because I lost it. That was a sad,sad day ladies! This stuff lasts forever, it's a wonder Arden makes any money on it. Usually when companies have something that works this well they discontinue it for something we'll have to buy every other month. Fingers crossed this never gets the boot, and if it does I'm going to stage a protest for sure. You know and judging by all the positive reviews here I'm sure I could count on some people joining me.
The only complaint I have is I do think the brush included is a little lame, but I bought the Anastasia Brow Brush #17A (if they still make it) and it works well with this.

A complete stranger once complimented me on my "Audrey-Hepburn-brows" when I was wearing this. I have the shade 01 soft blonde, bought it almost 3 years ago and haven`t even reached the bottom yet.
I never used this product as an eyeliner though. The shade accentuates and shapes but not blatantly so. You can achieve a subtle, natural result - which I think is rarely the case with brow products. The accompanying hard-bristled flat brush is the perfect tool. The look gets even more polished if you finish off with a translucent brow gel. Absolutely rewarding investment!

I have nothing to compare this to. I use it everyday, have for years, same compact. Its the one thing I never go without. My eyebrows are normal, nothing bad, nothing great, this just gives them a bit of definition. The only reason I would buy another one is if I lost it. I cannot imagine using the whole compact in a lifetime.

I have used this product for years. It fills in my brows perfectly and I do not feel that my face is done until I use this. What a difference this makes and it is so easy to use. I use the Blond shade. Would recommend to try this!

If anyone knows how to use powder on thin eyebrows without them looking really fake and madeup, please tell me:) Purchased blonde, as suggested by the SA, under artificial light this looked too ginger/orangey not good:( Difficult application, the included brush is no good. The container is hard to open, you really have to use your nails. This can also be used damp as an eyeliner, but again the eyeliner brush included is useless and once you wet the powder, it gets kind of messy. The blonde color did not show up as a liner on my coloring, but may work on a much fairer person. For the price you do get a lot of product so it would last a long time, but overall I was disappointed.

I purchased this product in sable, I do think it may have been a bit light for my skin complexion. I did like the brush and the texture of the powder and that it applied the brow colour finely, the colour just didnt quite look like the brown/brunette I expected. It does also say you can use it as a eye liner, I did try this but it doesnt last that long. The eye brow does last.

Hw did I ever use a brow pencil when I knew about this stuff? I have really blonde eyebrows, and I could never find my perfect shade. I let my co-worker talk me into this stuff tonight and I am more than pleased! The blonde is perfect for me. I also love the compact it comes in!

I LOVE THIS PRODUCT!!! I have used this for years!! It's a little on the pricey side for me....but mine has lasted for years which makes up for it by far. The blond is the perfect shade and it creates opaque brows without looking artificial!!!
One my top pics!

Super product, and it STAYS ON! I am fair with dark blond hair with lighter highlights. At 56, my brows are growing in thinner and often in white! Plus I still have oily skin in the T zone, further adding to my problem, so most pencils wear off at the first sign of heat or humidity.. I use the blonde shade, and it's not too dark like other brow products. Normally I don't use Arden products, but received a gift card for an Arden spa facial with a makeup touchup. Besides a super facial I received, the day was not busy, so I got a full makeup application. I fell in love with this product! Will definitely continue to purchase this!

I have used this in blonde on and off for several years; have veered off course to other brands/powders/pencils/gels - you name it. have light brown hair with blonde highlights and brows so sparse, folks wouldn't recognize me without my liner. EA's blows every other brand and formula out of the water! I use a Trish McEvoy eyebrow brush that i've had for 8 years, and it works like a charm.

I have this in Sable, a brown with a greyish-taupe tinge. I use it daily as a brow powder and, after at least two years, have not made much of a dent in the product. This is a dual brow and eyeliner product and comes with two brushes. Both are very small (maybe 2 to 2.5 inches long), the brow brush is firm without being scratchy, and the liner brush is fine and comes to a point. I use the liner brush daily either to tightline with liquid liner or damp with eyeshadow as a liner. I use the powder as a liner rarely, but it is a great product to take away on low-maintenance vacations.
The packaging is sturdy - just as well as I think this will last for at least 5 years :-)

I have this in Sable 03. This looks darker than the picture in the elizabeth arden website. Although it looks too dark for me in the pan, but the colour blends really well, and it looks super natural. It goes on soft brown. The pigmentation is just right, not too pigmented, not too light. Actually im gonna take half a lippy outta the perfect 5 because i did not like the brush it came in, the handle is too short and it keeps falling off my hands, it is however alot softer than the ones frm The Body Shop brow shaper. I like that it came with a miror, but elizabeth arden needs to revamp their packaging, it looks really outdated.
