I got this product about 2 weeks ago. Being a big Mario Badescu fan I thought that this would help me keep those spots away. I decided to buy it after having filled in the questionnaire on the Mario Badescu website and being recommended them based on my skin's condition.

After a few days I noticed that some spots that had been quite small to start off with had grown and gone inflamed. After about a week and a half I had inflamed spots on the sides of my cheek. It took me a while to consider this toner as the culprit. I stopped using it and my spots are no longer getting inflamed the way they were.

So I don't recommend this product. It might work for someone else, but not for me, unfortunately.

I haven't really noticed any results from this product. It's got a pleasant smell, but that's about it. It's also much too drying for my skin right now, as I live somewhere with very harsh winters. I didn't realize until after I'd purchased it that one of the ingredients is nonoxynol-9 (pardon any spelling errors), which I understand to be a very harsh ingredient and something I'm not sure I want in my skincare. I'll continue to use it on the more acne-prone parts of my face in the morning only and see if I notice a difference (I can't return it anyway), but unless I move somewhere significantly warmer where I need to use a more drying product, I won't be repurchasing and will be sticking with alcohol-free toners.

I use this with acne facial cleanser and other MB products. It is my HG toner, I will never switch. It really helps my acne prone combo skin to stay clear and it doesn't irritate. LOVE it and even its smell.

This stuff + Enzyme Cleanser are staples in my cabinet. I love the way it makes my skin! I was pretty anti-toner before this stuff, but now I can't live without it. It is perfect for my combination skin. Only complaint that I have is that it's an expensive toner for one that's got alcohol as an ingredient.

at first time, I didn't have that much expectation about this one. cause my skin is very sensitive and i'm very picky on toner. there was only a few products works for me. anyways, I started off with sample and I got impressed. so after that, I start using this. it's kind of soothing my skin and gradually makes my skin clean and looks better. I don't like the scent though..the smell due to little bit of alcohole in it. but it's very mild and effective and inexpensive. so I like this.

I use this in conjunction with the Enzyme cleansing gel and I have to give this product credit for helping to clear up my acne as well! I have oily, acne prone skin and I usually always had at least one pimple every day. This product, along with the Enzyme Cleansing Gel has made my skin clear! I have been using it for about three weeks and I am loving it! It has a somewhat potent smell but I got used to it after a few uses. It does not make my face feel tight or dry, it actually feels very comfortable.

It claims to help repair acne and I totally agree with it! Usually it takes about a week and a half for a pimple of mine to completely disappear and another week for the scar to go away. With this, pimples cleared up in a matter of DAYS! Mario Badescu is a great company and if you have a counter near you I would suggest to go get samples! Or go online to take the skin consultation quiz, wait a day or two and you'll get an email offering you samples!! It's great!

This was too drying for my face and didnt really help with my acne either so I now use it for my shoulders/back til it runs out.

This toner really didn't do much for me. It made my skin a little drier than usual. I usually avoid any product with alcohol in it but decided to give this a try when I had a couple of zits that would not respond to anything else. It didn't work. It has a baby powder smell to it which is not bad, but kind of strange. Overall, I am just not impressed.

Mario Badescu's products have not really ever done anything great for my skin. I had a facial at their NYC spa years ago, and that was nice, but the products have not been anything great for me. After a few days of my using this special cucumber lotion recently, I had some cystic acne form on my chin. Before using this product, my skin was totally clear. Ugh. I ran out of my other toner and picked this up as a replacement, but I'm gonna throw it out. Not for me.

I have been using this toner along with the rest of the MB combo/dry-acne products.

I didn't experience more breakouts, but I do have to be careful not to apply too much of the toner, or else it WILL dry out my skin.

This toner did not help my occasional breakouts much. Yes it does disinfect since it has so much alcohol in it... But that's all. What I truly hated about it is that it made my oily skin so much more oily!! It dries skin out so it pumps out more oil to keep moisture. I am glad I got this as a gift and did not spend money on it. Will not buy this toner.

Unfortunately it broke me out. Which sucks cause it seemed to work well and it felt refreshing but the moment i woke up the next day (i used it at night) i had clusters of break outs, so nope! not gonna buy it again. I think i'm breaking out because of the cucumber extract because the Special Cleansing Lotion C also broke me out and they both have cucumber extract.

This toner broke me out and made my skin more oily, I was so excited about trying it, but didn't work at all, I started seeing little pimples coming out and decided to stop. it didn't do anything impressive to my skin, just a waste of money :(

I absolutely love this stuff! Mario Badescu products, in general, have immensely helped my skin. This toner/lotion is not drying at all, and helps heal my skin when it is irritated or when I have blemishes. I get a few breakouts here and there, but rarely and not bad at all since I started using MB. I even got my sister and brother hooked on this as well as other MB products. Definitely worth a try!

I received this as a sample and I was really excited about trying it because it was said to be sulfur and cucumber based which I thought would be very helpful for my combo/acne prone skin. As much as I would have liked this toner enough to buy the full size I was a little disappointed. It didn't seem to dry up my existing blemishes at all and sort of left a tacky residue behind. My Dickenson's Witch Hazel Toner seems to be a lot better and cheaper.

I've become a Mario Badescu skin care whore...LOL. When I filled that 'Consulting' section I received some samples from the mail within weeks. I used every one of them and they all WORKED! I'm weekly to monthly acne, sensitive, oily-skin sufferer. I've used all kinds of skin care, mostly high-end brands. Not one of them worked for me. Some even lead me to more breakouts and scars. When I got this sample along with several samples my skin started to change within a week. I use this after I use MB Enzyme Cleansing Gel and it leaves my skin glowing. It cleans out my pores and leaves a nice glow. Not only did it clean then out I also haven't had any huge breakouts. I was a skeptic at first, but from day to day, week to week, using this my skin changed. I'm amazed! I will keep buying this product : )

Works well when used with the enzyme cleanser. I stayed away from toners most of my life because my skin is dry and even the toners for dry skin still dried me out. This is truely a moisturizing toner. Your skin feels clean refreshed the scent is pleasent and best of all it gets rid of blackheads (not the deep ones the silver powder does a better job at that). My skin is visably clearer after using this product. I have also been complemented on my skin's radience recently after following this regimen. My fav line!

Disliked this stuff. It gave me small fleshy bumps along my jawline and into my cheeks. I like my Thayer's witch hazel and rosewater toner much better and it's lots cheaper.

I have acne prone congested skin and while this toner was pleasant enough to use and felt quite refreshing, it didn't really improved any of my problem areas. Sure, it cleansed my skin and left it refreshed, but that's a minimum I expect from a toner. From Mario Badescu product I expected a bit more.
