oyy.. the only was this is better than seche vite is the longevity of the manicure. but it leaves my nails dull and NOT HARDENED. its been an hour and i can still make dents......neverrr the case with seche. im applying a second coat because i really dont want to have to redo my nails.

it works fine with sheer, thin coats and polishes....just not for anything that you take your time to do.....i.e anything opaque

I actually have been buying this for some time now, and maybe I didn't notice this flaw because I usually wear glitters or other busy polishes but it leaves very strange streaks in my polish. Like, very fine little dips in my polish that go all the way up to the tip of my nail, especially close to my cuticle. I don't have any ridges on my nail, and I don't usually have bumpy nail polish, so I wasn't quite sure what this was about, then I decided to use a different topcoat and the problem didn't happen so I just assume it was the topcoat? Anyway, that is basically my only complaint with this product! Very glossy finish, with only minor shrinkage which is amazing :) I also love the rubberized grip too! If you haven't experienced this ridge problem then don't let this dissuade you from buying this fantastic product! Maybe I just got a bad bottle haha ;) have a great day everyone!

Orly Sec'n Dry is the only top coat / quick dry polish I use. Have used it for years and they still haven't come out with anything that beats it. I climb in bed, do my entire manicure, apply Sec'n Dry, and fall asleep with my hands on top of my sheets. Has never failed me !

I love this stuff. My manicure lasted a week. It really dried my three coats quickly. It's semi-shiny also. I like that. It looks like a pro-manicure. I'd buy this again.

I love this top coat! :D
I was dissapointed when my seche vite got gunky in the bottle. but not this Orly one! This stays runny in the bottle until the very end when your brush cant reach the last bit of product. :D
It goes on really thin and smooth. you can even build on it if you want and your fingers wont feel heavy or stuffed.
will definetly purchase again!

First off, I used to use Seche Vite and thought that it probably couldn't be beat. Then I learned that Seche Vite has the "Big 3" chemicals and I decided I wanted to switch to something that was Big 3-free. After checking reviews I decided to give Orly Sec 'N Dry a try. After using both products I have to say that I prefer Orly Sec 'N Dry. It seems to have all the great qualities that Seche Vite has but with the added bonus that it doesn't cause shrinkage like Seche Vite. I have used Sec 'N Dry before bed and never have any smudges or sheet prints. I have also used it during the day with success (no dents/smudges). I do err on the side of caution though. I wait around 10 minutes after my final coat of nail polish before applying Sec 'N Dry to assure there is no dragging. I apply this quite thickly (again, to avoid potential dragging) and have noticed that this seems to be the best method for application. I have no problems with welling at the cuticles with this product which is nice. If I paint my nails during the day I do baby my nails for at least a good hour to prevent any chance of denting/smudging. Overall, I love this product and will continue to repurchase. It dries my nail polish quickly, has a nice shiny finish, doesn't cause shrinkage, is reasonably priced in my opinion for a quick dry product and gives me a good 4-5 days without chipping. I also love the packaging. The handle has a soft grip and the brush is just the right size. Another added bonus that I think is worth mentioning is that I have not noticed any thickening with this product like I did with Seche Vite. That is a huge plus for me!

I have been using SV for a while but my polish was always chipping within hours of application or coming off in sheets (like a fake nail of polish sitting on top of my nail). So I decided to switch I need a fast dry top coat because I have no patience to sit still to wait for my polish to dry. I have been using sec n dry for about a month now and every single polish I have used it with has dried quickly (but not a quicly as SV) and lasted about 2 days before chips which is great for me, I am very hard on my hands and they are constantly wet. My only complaint so far is it dries to a semi shiny finish, I want HIGH shine but I will take a little less shine for a top coat that actualy make my polish last beyond a day.

I just bought it yesterday and tried it for the first time and it was THE BOMB. It worked perfectly. At first I thought I put too much of it on my nails and feared it would get goopy but it didn't-- it even dries itself super fast! It was touch dry in a couple of minutes but I waited 20 mins more just in case. Then I went to sleep then when I woke up-- BAM, perfection. No dings or sheet marks or bubbles. Oh and in the morning I sorted though my bag and opened stuff with my index finger. BAM still no dent! Extended tip wear too!? HG topcoat for sure.

This is the fastest drying topcoat I own, and I have tried just about all of them-Poshe, Seche Vite, all of the other Orly TCs, Out the Door. Polish is dry to the touch in less than a minute and extremely hard to smudge. The finish is a bit dull, (for which I docked a lippie) but FWIW, I am not satisfied with less than a high gloss shine. Normal people would probably find the shine level to be fine. If i found a glossier finish TC with equal drying power, I might switch. But it is so fast drying, it will likely stay in heavy rotation in my manicures.

I love this top coat. I like how it soaks in and dries everything (base and several layers of polish) completely. It dries to a hard shiny finish and helps my manicure to last a really long time. I find that I reach for this more often than any other topcoat and am already on my third bottle.

Absolutely the worst top coat I've ever used. I was wavering between this and Seche Vite and I went with the Orly because it came in a smaller bottle. I did my nails last night and they're already peeling and chipping. It DID dry fast, but if it's not going to protect my manicure then what's the point? I'll be taking it back and buying some SV instead.

at first i thought i didn't like this as much as the other orly quick dry polish, in a snap, so i planned to just use it as quickly as i could to get to the other well lo and behold i do like this one. it does smell strong but it really works! it dries my nails fast, leaves a nice glossy coat and i don't get chips. because i'm so busy i actually polish my finger nails in bed before going to sleep sometimes and i put this on and keep my hands on top of the covers as i drift to sleep and let me tell you, i wake up with nice, smudge free nails. i would buy this again because it works! also, i'm halfway through the bottle and it's not clumpy or anything.

I have finished my first bottle of this stuff and I really loved it. I use it over 2 or 3 coats of polish and it really does shorten the dry time by A LOT. I once applied my nail polish and had to leave the house and forgot to use the topcoat. I ruined my nails cause normally (with the topcoat) they would've already been dry.

It does thicken a bit after extended use but I just add a few drops of Orly nail lacquer thinner to make it back to normal. Also it works better when you apply thick coats so as not to "drag" the color if you are doing multi-colored nails.

Since I ran out out I bought Orly In A Snap top coat to try it out instead. It got very good reviews on mua so hopefully it will work just as well as Sec N' Dry. I would definitely purchase again.

I've tried every top coat, Sally Hansen Insta Dry, Mega Shine fast dry, Seche Vite, even OPI rapiddry, and they all truly pale in comparison to this.

When you first open the bottle it has a watery consistency, and you layer it on thick, it dries and seals everything nicely. After being opened a couple times it thickens up just slightly to be a little easier to work with, than it stays perfect until about 1/4 of tue bottle left, it never EVER gets goopy like Seche! I added a little thinner (also made by orly) and it was perfection again, just hard to get the last of the product out of the bottle. These are all minor things I can live with. For such a perfect fast drying top coat, it also lasts and I don't need to even refresh it to bring back the shine, it stays until I remove it! It forms such a nice seal, like a shiney rock to protect your beautiful color. I am on my third bottle of this and will repurchase forever, this is my HG.

I am a polish addict and try everything, I change my polish every few days so I cherish a good product when I find one. Go get this!!!!! Oh and Sally's has it pretty cheap :)

I am a novice nail painter- after ten years in the military I am only just now moving into bright pretty nail colors. I have NO patience, and usually nick my polish almost immediately. I bought Sec'n Dry along with the Bonder at my local CVS and tried it out. Wow! For probably the first time ever, my self-painted nails looked great- no dings or nicks, and I was even able to go to the restroom (ever notice that you have to pee IMMEDIATELY after finishing your nails?) only five minutes after applying. I did not notice any problems with flooding or color drag that others have mentioned. I did have to apply two coats, because the first coat dried a little flat, but the second coat dried just as fast, and it looks great. I also love the rubberized handle. Will definitely buy again.

HG top coat. Especially in combination with the rubberized bonder, your polish won't budge. Plus, it really is super fast drying!

I bought this on Ebay for about $7 which is just a good price for a quick dry product. It's better than paying $1 per manicure for quick dry.

Not only did the top coat work as a nail polish but it has been a week, and my nail polish has yet to chip! I don't think this has ever happened to me!

GREAT BUY!

this is a really nice top coat. it dries fast and, if i paint my nails in the evening before going to bed, i can be almost 100% sure i won't have any sheet marks, smudges or dents in the morning. the only con i've come across while using this product is that sometimes, if i'm not careful enough, it's easy to get too much product on my nails and literally flood them. i would really recommend this product, it does what is says!

Hate this topcoat. It constantly melts or is taking the tip area of my nail polish off no matter how hard or light I apply it. I've actually waited an hour for my nail polish to dry before applying to prevent this, and it still happens. And the chip resistance is no better than cheaper alternatives I've tried.

Pros: it really does dry super fast (not quite as fast as SV though).
it isn't as thick and unmanageable as SV.
it doesn't smell as strong as SV.

Cons: SMEARS NAIL ART. It doesn't matter if that image was dry or not, it will somehow manage to smear it.

So really... I'll only be using this on a no-art day.
