I would say it's pink with brown undertones. It's not exactly suitable for summer, but it's very, very neutral. I liked how easy it was work with. The color applied smoothly and did not feather. It's fairly moisturizing and creamy - but not overly so as to be uncomfortable. I've had this for a year, and it hasn't gone bad (which I found to be a problem with the other products I brought from NYX).
There's no smell. The packaging's not that great, but it's definitely serviceable.

Found out about this little gem through reviews here on MA. This has become my go-to lipstick. Not quite sure how to describe the color but it's not even close to a fuschia! Texture is creamy yet sheer enough that the color changes on me depending on which color I line & fill-in my lips in w/ 1st. On it's own it's a brownish, warm pinkish-peach (as oppossed to peachy-pink) w/ a hint of shimmer. Not great staying power and pretty sloppy as a liner but for the price, who cares!

I love this color I love this pencil I love it! What a perfect shade for fall and winter. I wish the staying power was a bit better, but the color pay off is fabulous. I love these pencils and want more. The soft fushia is my favorite for sure

OK, so it isn't really fuschia....but why complain? It's an almost-nude, beautiful soft pink color, falling into the "my lips only better" category for me. I have fair skin, with only slightly pigmented lips, and this is just right for days when I don't really want to look like I have a lot of makeup on. The formula is very soft and creamy, and there is a slight sheen to it-I haven't experienced any dryness at all when using it. The application is smooth enough to wear it alone as lip color, or as a liner with a matching lipstick-this is such a flexible shade, it goes with many of my pink lipsticks. I have also worn it with a sweep of Vaseline or clear gloss for a casual bare look-great for mornings when I'm in a hurry!
I am very happy with this product, and would absolutely buy it again, but I do have two small quibbles-one is that the plastic cap seems to be very fragile, and gets crushed and splintered easily, even just riding around in a makeup bag. The other thing to be careful of is the soft consistency of this pencil-I have had a couple melt inside my purse on hot days. (Put it in the freezer for a bit when you get it home-it'll firm back up.) All in all, for the price-around three or four dollars-this is a great deal, and the color is just what I was looking for!

The name of this shade is so misleading. Its not even remotely fushia. Its a beautiful pinky brown nude colour. The NYX Jumbo Lip Pencils are excellent. They are so long wearing and have a beautiful satiny finish. At first I was weirded out by sharpening a plastic lip pencil, but it is very easy to sharpen and leaves the plastic completely smooth. Great product, great price!

I agree the name 'fuchsia' is odd: there's not a trace of fuchsia to be found in this lip pencil, lol. I bought it based on the reviews, and while I looove the texture, I'm a bit disappointed in the color. On me (fair skin with pink undertones), this was a light, cool toned brownish lavender with lilac undertones. Um... it made me look like a corpse!
My lips are pretty pigmented though, and mauvey: I think that's the culprit. Applied over a thick layer of strong yellow toned concealer, it gave me a light, neutral toned nude lip with a tiny hint of warmth, even. It looked *much* better this way and didn't give me 'concealer' lips. Also, to my big (no pun intended) surprise it's the first lip product that manages to make my lips look substantially fuller! I'm not big on nude lips though (just a matter of personal preference as my complexion is boring enough as it is), so I don't think I'll wear this again.
I really love the heavenly feel of the silky soft, creamy, waxy texture: it's sooo moisturizing! So much so, that it might be too 'greasy' for some. It's very opaque, doesn't bleed, has a lovely matte (but not flat) finish and doesn't settle into lip lines. I also love that it has no added taste or smell to it, and I find that it lasts forever, especially if you take the time to blot, powder and reapply. I don't use it as a liner, because it's not thin enough for me to line precisely. I pair it with a lip pencil that's close to my natural color (mahogany) and the result is extremely natural, yet plump and polished. Great shade for work or interviews!
I bought it for $3 at Cherryculture, and had I known these pencils cannot be twisted up but need to be sharpened, I wouldn't have bought it. I'd rather not waste so much product. I decided that if I wasn't going to wear it, I could at least have some fun with it, so I ended up depotting it (see below for how to).
BTW: I was surprised to learn these pencils don't fit in a regular sized duo pencil sharpener (the ones with a small and a big hole). Nyx, Revlon and Milani all have jumbo sharpeners, to just name a few. They can be found locally or online at Walmart, Ulta, Walgreens, Amazon, Cherryculture, Nonpareilboutique, etc.
All in all this is a great moisturizing lip product if you can pull off the color!
PS: if you don't have a jumbo sharpener or don't want to be wasteful, you can also depot the Jumbo pencil. Or if you hate that the cap cracks and comes off so easily, lol, here's how to depot it: http://www.luuux.com/health-beauty/how-depot-nyx-jumbo-pencils
I tried it myself and can't recommend the hair dryer method: it took forever because my hair dryer apparently doesn't produce enough heat. So I ended up scooping the not-so-melted-but-soft goo out of the tube with a wooden skewer: talk about time consuming. ;-) I'm sure the microwave method will work a whole lot better, lol!

I love this colour. On my lips it is a dusty rose shade (my lips but better). The name "soft fuchsia" is a little misleading since I was expecting it to be more brighter in colour. However, I do like that the formula is very creamy and they glide on easy without sitting in the lines on my lips. This gives a semi-matte finish but I find that a gloss on top works best to help keep lips from drying out and to blend the colour. They have a slight weird smell though.

Great Jumbo Lip Pencil! I have pale skin with a yellow-orange skin tone. I ordered this pencil site unseen, because there is not an Ulta close to my house. Believe it or not, this shade works well with my skin tone ~ it's not really Fuchsia. It's actually a very pretty rosy, pink shade with hints of brown and no mauve. I bought the NYX pencil sharpener, because I wasn't sure if the size would be correct, and I didn't want to ruin my pencil.
I live in the desert and this pencil holds up well in the heat. Only negative is the lids crack frequently. You can use this as a liner too. They work great when your are in the car and need a quick lipstick fix!! Great value and a great product ~ IMO, this is the only jumbo pencil that is wearable. I wish NYX would come up with some better colors.

Best lip product I've ever tried! I bought 2 of these Jumbo Lip pencils just to try and went back almost a week later and bought 10 more in different colors and lucked out as ULTA was having a BOG One half price... The only color that doesn't work for me is Ice. I will need back up of Fuschia, Copper Pink (don't see this one on the website so I hope it's not being D/C'd), Rose Brown and Brown (which isn't brown!LOL!).
They have great staying power and are the perfect consistency... not too heavy, not too light.

This is my first NYX jumbo lip pencil. I was curious about these for a while, and ULTA had a B1G1 50% off this week, so I figured, wth? This is a pretty tea-rose-neutral color. I am NC20, for reference. This is a really natural color. This has a satin finish, not frosty (thank God), and not shimmery. I feel like you could add a bit of gloss to this if you want, and it would really stand out. I really like the delivery method for this product - if I made a cosmetics line, my lipsticks would be in this form only. These are soft, creamy, and apply smoothly. I think this particular color might look diff on diff people depending on their natural lip color. Mine is a bit plummy, naturally, and things tend to go orange on me pretty quickly. This settles as a nice tea rose pink on me. A good way I can describe it is that it would be great for interviews!

Definitely doesn't look anything fuchsia. It looks like Mac Shy Girl in pencil form. Its comes on creamy and moisturizing.
Edit:
I tried it again, don't waste on money on this. Its greasy, slips and slides everywhere.

NYX Jumbo Lip Pencil in Soft Fuchsia (JPL721) is a beautiful mauvey pink color which on my pigmented lips comes off as a nudey-pink color, and IMO is the lip pencil equivalent to NYX’s Round Lipstick in Thalia (which is one of my favorite NYX lipsticks). The NYX Jumbo Lip Pencils are extremely creamy, hence they glide onto your lips; the pigmentation is quite good & they are long lasting to say the least; they have a pretty good color selection; and are quite economical. One of the best qualities of these pencils is that they are neither too glossy, shiny nor frosty (depending on the pencil’s finish), thus, giving these pencils enough “character” to keep these pencils from being flat matte colors on the lips. The only con I can confirm is that the online swatches of these lip pencils pretty much suck, so I would suggest you do your research and read various reviews of color descriptions prior to purchasing – which is what I always I do.
The NYX Jumbo Lip Pencil in Soft Fuschia is 1 of the 3 NYX Jumbo Pencils that I purchased in a lot sale from eBay for less than $9.50 (including S&H) which indeed confirms that these pencils are one of the best hidden gems on the market today and IMO is a must-have item for every makeup lover’s collection.

I saw this at my local ulta store for about two dollars and thought i would give it a shot. I had never used lip pencils before so i expected it to be harder. It was very creamy and looked like a nice dark rose color on me. It looks nothing like the color swatch that they have online. I like it the most because it almost matches my natural lip color.

This is my new favorite ~ I live in the desert and it's been about 118 degrees and this pencil has been perfect for the heat. It gets hot, but doesn't melt like gloss or lipstick. I love the color and the consistency of the pencil. I have been applying e.l.f. baby lips over it for some added shine. It looks beautiful!
I am very fair, with a yellow-orange skin tone and I wasn't sure that this was going to work with my coloring. I don't apply it too heavy and it works perfect. As others have mentioned, Fuschia is not the correct name and it's a perfect rosy nude for me. I love this pencil, and I will definitely buy this again...

I like the NYX Jumbo pencils, however I do not like this color very much. It kind of gives me a dead-corpse look. I have no idea why they call this a fuschia when it is nothing of the sort. It looks like a cocoa/mauve/lilac on my lips. The wear of it is the same with all the other pencils, which is pretty good. I won't repurchase because it doesn't look all too good on me.
UPDATE: Oh my God, I just looked at the website and saw the swatch they had for this color..it could not have been more off. I'm serious, it looks ABSOLUTELY NOTHING like the picture on the website.
