This fabulous exfoliator cleared my skin of daily whiteheads, greasy skin and dullness. I'm now brimming with fresh faced confidence thanks to it. I must mention, though, that my skin is currently oily due to our hot & humid summers. I was nervous before using this exfoliator, thinking it will worsen my break-outs since it has microbeads. However, the opposite happened, and now my skin is smoother. The fresh minty smell is invigorating. Note: I found this product to be drying in the winter time, even when used once a week. I wouldnt buy it again because of the high price.

This exfoliator is super-powerful and I can feel it blasting away surface level cells; but don't worry, this "procedure" is pretty close to pain-free. The texture is very fine... imagine a night cream, with a healthy dose of sand. The exfoliating agents are small, round, and I actually find them to be quite soothing on my dry, sensitive skin. The very light lemon scent does slightly remind me of Pledge. However, I am very sensitive to smells and it does not linger once it's been washed off.

For those of you that have used ExfoliKate, this is a totally different experience. The exfoliating particles in this are much, much smaller than ExfoliKate. I also found the enzymes in ExfoliKate to be quite strong; making it almost as much of a chemical peel as it is scrub. Microdermabrasion is a true scrub and probably not the right fit for you if you like the peel/scrub combination of ExfoliKate.

This product did not do a whole lot for me. I was looking for a product that would even my skin tone, as microdermabrasion does, but my skin looked exactly the same after using the entire jar. There are lots of natural face scrubs that hardly cost a thing and make my skin feel AND look great. I would suggest trying out a DIY face scrub instead of a harsh product like this one. Not worth it at all.

This is really polishing. Scrubbing particles feel sharp against your skin, so does the fresh scent (feels a bit like eucalyptus oil?). It definitely works, my skin is really clean and smooth afterwards, but I cannot help but wonder if what this is doing, really benefits my skin or not. I'm not used to products this rough, but if you like scrubs as effective and refreshening as possible, you will love this.

Me, I am a little afraid of it. But I use it to get rid of dead skin cells before self tanners and it works like a charm. I would be a little scared to use this more than once a week.

Also, I need a really, really hydrating mask after using it. Origins Drink Up is my favorite for replenishing the moisture that this pulls out of my skin.

I got sucked into the hype about this product. i have no major skin issues. just started with Retin A and so my skin is dry. I used this but didn't do anything. nothing at all. really not worth it for me.

This is exactly what you want a scrub to be -- and you actually feel it sloughing off the top layer of cells. The lemon-lime scents is refreshing, not perfume-y. I do wish the product came in a flip-top food as you end up having to try and close the cap with product on your fingers.

A super-powerful exfoliator: afterall, as its name implies, this product is supposed to act abrasively. So not for the faint hearted!

Sharp grain particles result in a scouring effect on the skin, which blasts away surface level cells regardless of the lightness of touch applied. Sensitive skin beware. Skin certainly left glowing after this onslaught, but also (very) red! However, with infrequent use this product does deliver much improved skin tone and clarity.

Bottom line, then: top performer in abrasive scrub category.

this is hands down probably the best micro at home abrasion creme on the market. The only product comparable is the micro abrasion from la praire but it is 255$ USD and this is $75 USD. Both are great products.. just depends on your budget. ENJOY.

This is an effective exfoliating scrub that polishes, softens, and smooths the skin's texture. I like the fact that in addition to the crystals, this scrub contains lactic acid, which helps to remove dead skin cells and improve skin tone. I use this several times per week and found that it helps keep dullness and flakiness at bay. I prefer face products that are fragrance free, but the slightly sweet smelling fragrance in this product did not irritate my skin. It was not surprising that despite what the product advertisement claims, this scrub does not mimic the results seen from professional microdermabrasion treatments. The price for this product is extraordinarily high for an exfoliating scrub. I recently received a generous sample of a microdermabrasion scrub from Platinum Skincare and found that it provides the same benefit as this product, is fragrance free, and is sold at a small fraction of the cost. I enjoyed my experiment with this product, but won't be repurchasing.

I purchased this in an effort to combat the post acne marks flakiness and overall, uneven tone/texture. I would say that it initially works as a temporary smoother and refresher. It chills the skin which provides a temporary firmer and smoother feel. I enjoy using this product before a special occasion or night out about once a week. Honestly, like most skin care products aimed at resurfacing, Its best for people who already are blessed with optimal skin. Scent is like fresh brown sugar scrub.

The granules are soo tiny and soo many that they seem to get inside every pore possible. I kept this product for two years.....way past the expiration of a product but it still worked. A perfect polish for the skin. I do wish they come down on the price some.

I received a sample of this from Sephora and I loved it. It made my skin soft, clear and bright. I ran to get it when I had used up the sample and stopped when I saw the price tag. I couldn't believe it! I tried other scrubs but they all paled in comparison. Finally I caved it and I've never regret it. My skin is super sensitive and this doesn't bother me at all. My skin isn't left feeling dry either. It really helps to refresh and even out my complexion.

I received a test sample from sephora, and used it without any idea about how expensive it was. I kept it on my shower and used it most times when I bathed or took a shower. It really took care of all my white heads and my skin vibrant. After the sample was finished, I continued using other scrubs I had around, but they don't compare, so I finally went to get it and almost passed out when I saw the price ($75) but I ended buying it anyway. The sales lady said that it has lactic acid, which i don't see in the ingredients, but I must say this stuff rocks! Specially if you use it after taking a long shower, when the pores are open, it is superb, leaves my skin flawless

This stuff works amazing for those who have acne and want to clear and minise the appearance of acne scarring. The best thing about this product are the 2 things which I love. Firstly, the fine microbeads which works wonders by clearing old skin cells on the surface of your skin and help skin to rejuvenate. Which means, if you have acne scaring, this will take the so called 'layer' of the dark pigmentation and allow for your skin to generate new ones. Secondly, you dont need much at all to spread it around your face. Just a tiny pea size will do. This particular product is expensive but it will last you for about 3-4 months. I have just started using this and started off with a little sample tube. And the tube is seriously small and I was able to use it for about 3-4 weeks before it was running out. By then I decided it's time to actually buy this product. I have suffered acne and have a lot of acne scars on my cheeks area, and since I've been using this I have noticed the slight lessen appearance of the scarring. Overall this product makes my face clean and smooth! Remember, this is not a daily use as it is considered an 'industrial strength' type of exfoliant. So I use it 2-3 times a week. I do recommend buying this product over eBay though as it is cheaper than going into actual stores.

It's a nice exfoliator. I love the packaging. It's kind of stylish with that Dr. Brandt's signature on top. The scrub itself performs well, it's gentle, the exfoliating particles are tiny; but I think I'll move on to glycolic (chemical) peels, so I will not repurchase it

I usually don't pay for scrubs - I make them at home. However this is my mom's product and I tried it. A tub of this lasts forever. My skin looks radiant and feels smooth - like I just got an expensive facial. A tiny bit goes a long way and it's highly spreadable. Unlike sugar or salt, these crystals don't melt with water, so you can do a thorough job. My skin didn't turn red either as I washed my face with this, like it does with other scrubs.

I'd purchase it again if I had to choose a scrub and had an unlimited budget, but at $75 I may just get a Clarisonic.

After the L'Oreal Microderm kit went off the market I was on the hunt to replace this finely crystalised creamy scrub. After hesitantly testing this a few times on my hand at the store, I caved & forked out the hefty price to buy it.

This scrub is really effective. I use it once a week & richly moisturise with serum, rosehip oil & moisturiser afterwoods to protect & regenerrate my skin. I also try to stay out of the sun the following day. Plus it has a very pleasant lemony scent.

Bought this product and initially liked it, but then I noticed that if I had a dry or peeling patch of skin on my face that this product didn't remove the peeling flakes of skin or smooth that area at all. Skin did feel more smooth after using but I felt like it was too expensive for such mediocre results. Have since bought the Clarisonic Plus and am enjoying that much more for my skin smoothing needs.
