This was the first Yankee Candle we found here in the UK, as the local garden centre. It was October and I was craving something autumn-y, and LO! there was my Autumn Lodge. Others have described the scent well. The scent is very nostalgic. It is my favourite candle ever.
But, of course, this is now discontinued and my large jar will be the end of my Autumn Lodge experience. Woe is me.

Mmmm, I get burning leaves, some tobacco, turned up earth...it's fall. I stocked up on this, and when the nights start getting a bit colder, I break out Autumn Lodge and I'm longing for fall to get here! Great way to get the smell of burning leaves- I love that smell- without actually burning leaves.

I always have this on hand. Fall is my favorite season and this scent just captures everything about the season. It does have an odd scent, hard to place - seems to smell of earth, a woodfire, and cinnamon. I don't have one of those noses that can pick out different notes really. All I know is that it's a very comforting scent. And when I step in my house and smell it, I know I'm home.

An average fall scent. Others have posted it smells like pipe tobacco, burning wood, burning leaves and earth. They are right on. It's great for a change but it's strong and not something I could burn all the time. I prefer to burn it at only in the fall season, at nighttime when the air is a bit chilly. The scent makes me feel so cozy and relaxed but due to the smell it made my roomate very quezy so we had to extinguish it asap. I also wish it was soy wax but that is always my complaint w/ Yankee. On the fence on whether I would repurchase.

This is my favorite tart/candle scent ever! My DH and I both love this tart. It is a very comforting scent with a hint of pipe tobacco, burning wood, and earth. The throw is excellent, and at first I thought it was too strong.

This tart has good "throw" and smells like an autumn day in the country. Since I live in the country, I can tell you that this IS what it smells like! To me, it smells like a bit of burning leaves, a bit of fresh air, a hint of grass and maybe a bit of floral. It definitely has a "cozy" scent. I burned this scent most of the fall this year and loved it. The color of the tart is a dusty green. This is one of my favorite "fall" tarts and I will be burning this scent again next year for sure!

YC describes this as "The mellow fall ambiance of aged woods and a glowing hearth bids a timeless welcome - Calming". I love this fragrance! It is a woody, moss, wet decaying leaves type fragrance warmed by a touch of musk and tobacco. This is a most definate pipe scent. But this isn't too manly at all. It is saved by a subtle floral undertone. This really does smell like a warm, busy lodge with a roaring fire, fresh cut flowers, a man in the corner smoking his pipe, and the scent of the woods outside wafting in as visitors enter. Great for a cozy living room. Very distinctive and different. I do notice the YC are waxier and have less throw than the AZW tarts. But they still give quite a nice throw.
