If you want a free drink spray this on!!!! I have had more compliments from this scent then anything I have ever put on. I am sure it isnt for everyone... but I am petite dark haired pale skin girl and it seems to suit me the best! I have told many people about it because I am constantly being asked what I am wearing!!!

I on the lookout for a replacement for the discontinued Molinard Les Senteurs Vanille. I purchased this based on a recommendation from the lovely glossaholic and I couldn’t be happier. This is a sweet, uncomplicated, grown up vanilla scent. It is comparable to Victoria Secret’s Vanilla Lace or The Body Shop’s Vanilla fragrance from a few years back. It is a very smooth and creamy scent. Smells just like vanilla extract. It has great lasting power and the price is very reasonable. Love the vintage style bottle.

Soft cotton candy and vanilla sugar cookies, with a touch of woodiness and musty cardboard. Keep in mind that I am a vanilla FIEND and love exorbitantly sweet fragrances that give some people headaches. I don't know what it is, but there is something really sickly and aversive about this fragrance. It is linear, but that's not the issue, as I was looking for a linear vanilla. I have sampled this several times and it always hits my nose the wrong way. I just don't like it. If you are looking for a sweet vanilla, give this a try. It's not my HG, but it may be yours. I'm really disappointed, especially since the longevity and sillage are excellent on me.

The search for the perfect, true vanilla continues...

This vanilla smells like delicious cookies with lemon frosting. My only issue with it is that it has minimal lasting power on my skin...like maybe 8 minutes. I have been spraying it on my sheets & often get a whiff of it when I awake & that is a very nice way to start the day. The verdict: lasts on sheets, not on skin!

Sickeningly sweet. This perfume has a very strong and sickly sweet vanilla smell. I cannot wear it. The scent makes me sick whenever I catch a whiff of it. I had to wipe it off of me right away this morning after I put it on. The lasting power is amazing though. It lasted from 7 AM to the next morning and beyond. I will be returning this.

Reminds me of the Body Shop Vanilla Perfume Oil from back in the day! Its a true sweet vanilla smell which is warm without all that musky overtone. There's a reason this is so popular .. it's feminine and soft. I have never met a man who doesn't love vanilla. Price is amazingly affordable at $18 a bottle. It's just one of the most amazing pure vanilla scents I have found!

This is such a great vanilla scent ..... I received a vial from BeautyHabit and have been on a L'Aromarine Vanille kick since then and had to purchase a bottle. It is a very nice vanilla with hints of cotton candy ..... the best I can describe Vanille is a toned down version of CSP Vanille Abricot, which I also like. I do not find this scent generic .... on my skin it works (my chemistry does well with sweet fragrances,) and you simply cannot beat the price. The scent is very pleasing and generates alot of compliments.

Though not the perfect vanilla scent, it is darned close. I own a small vial of vanilla absolute essential oil diluted in jojoba (darned expensive stuff even in dilute form), so I know what a true vanilla smells like. Vanille is perhaps a bit sweeter, but not cloyingly so, and it is a bit strong, but I can forgive it for being not a true vanilla. I don't wear vanilla scents often, but I do like this. It is akin to older Vanilla Lace, but without the lightness and the added bit of floral.

I am obsessed with vanilla, so it's not surprising that this is one of my favorite perfumes. It's cheap and the bottle is cute. It's a simple and sweet, pure vanilla that is great on its own or layered with other fragrances. I love it and will always have a bottle around!

Smells to me like vanilla candles from the old Pier One Imports back in the day! A very rich vanilla bourbon scent, quite nice. Great price, too, for a huge bottle. Love the bottle styles and the vintage look labels. This is not by any means a complex or deep scent, but it's a very nice basic vanilla without being sweet, sugary or overcomplicated by other notes.

L'Aromarine Vanille Eau de Toilette 50ml spray cost me $18.00. It smells like sugar cookies to me. Everyone in my household loves it. It doesn't last all day however.

Although I rarely find a gourmand I really enjoy, I decided to give Vanille a try. Upon spritzing, it left a smokey smell at first similar as to a burnt VS Vanilla Lace. After a while it did mellow out to a d.lish vanilla cookie. Although VS Vanilla Lace is still my favorite as I prefer a certain milky sweetness to my vanillas, I definitely love the retro look of the bottle and I will probably buy it again.

I LOVE vanilla and this is honestly one of the best vanilla perfumes out there...and I have some of the really expensive stuff! It smells heavenly. It is one of those scents where you seriously can not stop sniffing your self : ) It smells like sugar cookies fresh out of the oven, maybe a little brown sugar...just delish! Lasts a long time too....which is surprising considering this perfume is 3.4 ounces for only $23!! You can get this from beautyhabit.com or smallflower.com. I highly recommend this and I will never be without it! Also layers well with everything!

This is, hands-down, THE best vanilla I've sampled or purchased in the last fifteen years. It's virtually identical to Vanille Caramel, one of the four fragrances in the "Essences de Voyage" fragrance line by Victoria Secret. The entire line was discontinued about fifteen years ago, and I've been hunting desperately ever since to find a vanilla as edible and delicious as the Vanille Caramel fragrance, which was my Holy Grail.

I love everything about L'Aromarine Vanille, from its creamy scent to its affordable price to its glorious Art Deco label. Love, love, love, love, love. That's all I have to say.

Many vanillas smell burnt on me, and L'Aromarine's is no exception.
Toasted vanilla, toasted marshmallow. Alas, not my cup of tea.

Five lippies all the way! A fellow Mua'er recommended this to me. At first, I was a bit skeptical because every body's take on the "perfect" vanilla is completely different. I ordered a bottle anyway with low expectations, only to be pleasantly suprised. This was love upon first spritz. The Perfect Vanilla- and it was all mine!! THere are no under tones to mess this fragrance up, no awful musk or anything. Just straight, sweet vanilla extract. If you love Avon's Natural Vanilla or the discontinued VS Beauty Rush Slice of Heaven, then you will love this. This is along the same lines, very similar, just yummy vanilla goodness. The bottle is super cute, art deco and a huge amount for your money. I believe my bottle is a 3.3 ounce and I paid a little under $20. The only down side is the lasting power. It is a pretty light scent and I find myself reapplying often. But, that is ok with me because of the amount that I have and the affordability of another bottle. This is my staple and hg vanilla. I will always repurchase this and would be crushed if it ever got discontinued. Every vanilla lover out there needs L'aromarine Vanille.

Smells like what divinity tastes like. Amazingly lifelike marshmallow-fluff, super, super sweet. Would be great in cold weather for those who love super-sweet vanillas. I tried it in warm weather, and it became a bit cloying. Very long-lasting for this type of perfume, and was still noticible at six hours. Sadly, it is far too sweet for me to wear. I do, however, want to eat it!

One of the best vanilla scents I have smelt. This is very similar to Alyssa Ashley's Vanilla but a little sweeter with a hint of a boozy note (similar to that found in PdC's Vanilla Fantasy but only subtle).

L'Aromarine Vanille is exactly like a sweet melted ice cream that you buy from the Icecream Van which comes from the machine. The drydown on me reminds me of L by Lolita Lempika.

Not recommended for toothachingly sweet perfume haters!

This review is for the Vanille Extrait, not the alcohol based perfume. The extrait is a small bottle filled with vanilla oil extract. It is my favorite vanilla scent and the only one I can stand. I detest foody scents. They are cloying and give me headaches. For the life of me, I cannot understand why so many fragrances are marketed that way. This extract is mature, complex, and least of all cloying. It wears close to the skin but lasts for hours and hours. It's perfect for layering because it is not loud and brash but is quiet and lingers under all other notes. I detect notes of vanilla, but also peppercorn and wood. I agree with the Vanilla Woods description below. The price is unbeatable for the quality (and a price like that is becoming rarer by the minute in the perfume world). I would buy this again and again.

I got this for my best friend based on the reviews here. She LOVES vanilla and old timey (art deco/nouveau) art so I thought the bottle wou;ld at least look cute on her table. She actually wears it and claims love for it and I dont blame her (I know if she actually likes it or is just trying not to make me feel bad, she hasnt touched her bottle of mitsouko and it has been a year!) It is so well done and the price is ridiculously low ($18) For an edt it lasts very long. I went to dinner with her and smelled it, said she'd put it on that morning before work!!! It was faded but that is still really good. It smells like a sweet vanilla wood burning fire. Yeah, that is what i smell. SOOOO comforting. Burnt, but in a good way. Not too sweet, that is the best part. I think this makes such a great gift im about to buy 3 more bottles for Christmas for random people. Only bad thing? It doesnt come in a box!
