Great non-drying toner with a pleasant - not overpowering - citrus scent. Leaves my dry and sensitive skin feeling soft and clean. Only drawback is it's a little on the pricey side. Otherwise a great toner.

A refreshing toner which helps remove the last scraps of cleanser and make up. It has a light fruity scent and can be used all over the face including the eye area without stinging or damaging the delicate skin. Packaged in a screw top plastic bottle it isn't the most user friendly - I often use far too much, it needs a smaller aperture for the product to come out of. Leaves my skin feeling soft, not tight.

I have used this product for 6 months and I love this toner. I usually don't like toners but I received a sample from B&BW. I loved the sample so much that I ordered a full sized product off the net. About $30, but it has lasted long enough to feel worth it. I apply it with a cotton ball which fits nicely onto the screw-cap type opening. The packaging is attractive enough to leave on a countertop and is appropriate to what I expect for the price.
This toner is not drying, and has a wonderful light scent that is natural and clean, not perfumed and overpowering. I know many people say it smells like grapefruit; however, this doesn't mean that it has a strong citrus scent which is often harsh to the nose. It is hard to pinpoint exactly what it smells like! It leaves my skin feeling supple and clean; so much so that I often skip my moisturizer. It is gentle to use even under the eyes and on the eyelids to remove the last trace of eyeshadow. I have not experienced any problems with break outs or drying. I do get flakes some mornings around my blemishes after I use the product, but they are nothing that washing my face doesn't take care of. This is marketed as an exfoliating toner so I kind of expect it to remove some skin somewhere! :) I feel that it has improved the texture of my skin. When I ran out of my original sample, I was uncertain that I wanted to spend the money for a full sized product; however, my breakouts increased when I quit using this toner. When I began using it again my skin improved. Overall I LOVE this product. I usually get bored with a skincare product and start skipping using it but this one makes me feel pampered. It feels and smells Wonderful when it is applied. Would rebuy and have!

Product Description: Naturally exfoliate and brighten the complexion with this non-drying, rebalancing preparation. American pumpkin enzymes, pink grapefruit, lime and yeast extract combine to strengthen the skin and reduce moisture loss. Skin is revitalised, softened and smoothed. Alcohol-free and gentle enough to use around the eye area, this is suitable for all skin types. Pumpkin enzyme, grown in the USA is a gentler alternative to AHAs. Rich in potassium and vitamins A, E and K, it naturally exfoliates and eliminates dead cells, soothes fine lines and softens by hydrolysing the peptide bonds in proteins found in the dead skin cells. Non-irritating, non-sensitising. The pink grapefruit & lime extract, rich in vitamins B1, B2, C and P to help strengthen fragile blood vessels, these mild, gentle fruit extracts promote a smoother, healthier looking skin. Also, the hydroprotectol complex, derived from yeast this complex helps to reduce moisture loss by reinforcing and restructuring the lipid barrier, therefore hydrating the skin
Size: 200ml ; Price: £18.00

Ingredients: pumpkin enzyme, pink grapefruit, lime, hydroprotectol complex (yeast)

Application: Apply to the face and neck with moist cotton wool, after cleansing and before applying day or night moisture products.

On Me: Has a very strong orange smell. According to the sa its meant to help with exfoliating the skin as well. So far, no breakouts. Skin seems to look clearer and brighter. Most likely will repurchase...when i can get it during sales.

Got this free as a sample when purchasing another product. I have dry skin which can get very dry in the Winter or if I'm not using the right products. I'll start off with saying that his toner has a fantastic citrus smell to it that is very fresh and delicious. It didn't dry out my skin but as I have dry skin I need a toner that is suitable for dry skin and this clearly isn't. I think this would be very good if your skin is normal/combination.

EDIT. It made my skin red and blotchy so probably not a good idea for us with sensetives skin

This is my absolute, number one, why did I ever waste time trying loads of other toners toner. Every other company should give in and THIS should be the only toner available - it would save all us girlies time and money.
This is the revamped version of Molton Brown's gentle exfoliating toner (I couldn't tell the difference when they made the change). It smells divine (fresh, but not harsh, citrussy grapefruit), it feels divine (glides over the skin, absolutely no stinging or tightness or tingling), it does its job (removes every last trace of cleanser and really refreshes the skin), AND it leaves skin looking and feeling perfect (the grapefruit AHAs gently eat up any stray dead skin cells, so you don't get any flaking to mess your foundation up, or to warrant grabbing the moisturiser straight away). In fact I used this earlier today, didn't put moisturiser on afterwards, and my skin felt (and still feels) like my four-year old daughter's skin (and I don't have oily skin at all). So, if like me you want baby soft skin, get this. Beats Decleor, Elemis, Gatineau, Lush, Virgin Vie, Liz Earle etc hands down!

Doubt that I would purchase this product solo, but it comes as part of many of their travel kits which are marvelous. I find the toner works well enough without stripping or overly drying my skin. It's refreshing to use if you're traveling...maybe during a layover as a pick-me-up...but doesn't seem to be doing anything noticeable for my pores, etc. good or bad.

This is the best toner EVER! It does not overdry my skin...actually if I don't use it before I moisturize I find that I have to use more moisturizer to compensate! It takes off eye makeup remnants really well too. The smell is delicious and I will definately buy it again.

Seems like I am in the minority here, but I didn't like this toner. The smell was alright but didn't particularly care for it, very fruity. Although it felt decent on my skin it stripped it a little too much and left me flakey and dry by morning and I have oily skin and moisturized.

A brilliant toner. I adore the light grapefruit scent. I feel my pores disappear after using this! Takes away all traces of makeup and grime and leaves skin soft, supple, not at all oily and smelling very fresh! Highly recommended.

I got this in a swap and use it on my oily chin area at my time of the month or anytime my skin feels it's a tad oily.
But even for my regularly dry t-zone area it's fantastic!
It leaves skin balanced and feeling normal.
The smell is a refreshing grapefruit but not an overpowering perfumy...very natural citrusy. I like it perks you up :)

I might re-purchase this just for an occasional toning change from my Biotherm wipe-off moisturizer/toner lotion.

This is one the best I've used.
It does what it says...balances. :)

Got this as a free sample with
another purchase. Given how much I've taken to Molton Brown's hand creams, I thought this would be a great product too.
Unfortunately, it was too dry for my combination skin, which started to peel/flake within a week of using it. Maybe it's because of winter, but for now, it's back to Clinique for me. Very reluctantly too, because this smelled amazingly like grapefruit, which I love !

I love this toner - it smells exactly like grapefruit, so you would think it's highly astringent, but this actually leaves my skin feeling fresh and comfortable - not taut at all....
The only other toner that has a similar scent is the Low Fat Finishing Rinse by BLISSLABS...but that one has mattifying powders and is strangly oily feeling. I'm not a toner person at all, but I may end up using this on a daily basis!

This is the best toner I have ever used. Definately my HG toner! The smell alone would make me purchase it again. It smells like grapefruit and it's so refeshing especially first thing in the morning - wakes me right up.

When I first smelled it I thought for sure when I put it on my face it was going to burn or tingle. But I didn't get anything like that. It did a wonderful job on my comob/oily skin and it smelled great.

100% on this product. I love it!

I only got a sample of this but it is a deluxe one & I had been shying away from toners because they were all making me break out. NOT THIS ONE, I use it only the mornings after cleansing & it does the trick to balance my oily skin & does make me break out!!!

This is my HG toner!!! I gave up on toners about a year ago because my skin just looked better without it, even though i tried many different brands such as Jurlique, Thayers, Neutrogen, Clarins...etc but recently i started using this toner and i just adore it, it doesn't irritate or dry my skin but it gives me a supple glow because it acts as a mild exfoliant and the best part is i can also use it on my eyes too. I just love it!!! Will probably use this for a very very long time. Update=i've been using this toner for a few weeks now and i notice that i cannot use this toner everyday for it would give me bumps so i only use it whenever i want to deep clean my skin, still like it though!
