I bought this because the color looked like it would be nice on me and I wanted to try this cheek stain stuff. For me, this was only so-so. When you first put the color on it looks a little heavy but you can blend it out and it will be okay. However, the color does not last all day. For me, the best way to wear this seems to be over a BB cream or tinted moisturizer. I can either built up to a little too dark and then use a power to "set" the color (and also take some of the color away) or just plan to re-apply later in the day. I do'nt know it's my oily skin or what but these only last about an hour or two on me and I cannot reapply after I have a foundation on. This might be good for the gym or somewhere you want just a little "something" but don't want to wear makeup to but was not for me - in general. Maybe perfect for new moms as well who won't have time for a beauty routine?

I'm really not understanding the hype on these cheek stains. I bought two of them - Blushing Bride, Full Blossom. First off, the packaging is bad. You have to push it up from the bottom, but there's no way to push it back down without getting it on your fingers and making an indentation in the stain. Also, the color from these lasts all of about 20 minutes on me, and then is faded to nothing. I tried layering and building and all I ended up with was a hot sticky mess. Even if I apply only a thin layer, it never dries completely. It always feel a little tacky and greasy on my cheeks. It does dry down some but not completely. And the fading color that literally dissapears completely after 20 minutes is just not acceptable. These are kind of scented but it's hard to tell. When first applied, the color is extremely vibrant and rich. Almost looks way too heavy. Then it fades and fades until there's nothing left. Just walking around my house in the airconditioning, both colors were completely gone from my cheeks after just a few minutes.

The other problem with these cheek stains is that they do NOT handle any kind of heat at ALL. I left one in my makeup bag, in my car for about 4 hours on a 70 degree day, and it was melted very badly. I opened the cap and sticky red liquid poured everywhere. I used a tissue to blot off all the liquid goo from the top. Then on another ocassion I left it in my car again, but this time for about 1 hour before I remembered it. I ran out and got it - same thing - melted everywhere. Whatever you do, DO NOT BUY THESE IN THE SUMMER TIME AND HAVE THEM SHIPPED TO YOU!!! They will be completely ruined by the time they arrive. Only mail order them in the winter! Ack, total waste.

I use Laura Mercier Creme' Smooth, or Bare Minerals powder foundation and either way, if you apply these over the foundation, they just smear and ball up your foundation, and the gel stick gets coated in a thick layer of foundation that you have to try to clean off.

The other thing - if you have sensitive/acne prone skin, these cheek stains are a bad bad deal. I have very mild acne and can handle a lot of different products on my face without any problem, but these broke my skin out horribly. Undoubtedly because of the thick layer of sticky jelly grease that suffocates your skin.

I love the Tarte clay blushes and wish I'd never bought these cheek stains.

You know when you have a good night with that special someone and you go look in the mirror afterwards and you are glowing and your cheeks are flushed and it is the sexiest thing ever?? Well, this is the closest thing I've found to that!! Enough said!, I wanted to hate this. I thought $30 is crazy expensive, and I'm not into the "natural" look. I want it to look like I'm wearing makeup! Needless to say, I was wary of this "natural looking" cheek stain. But, I am absolutely IN LOVE with this!!! This color is very close to how I naturally blush with a little bit more berry. You can't tell exactly WHAT have on, you can just tell that I have a beautiful, glowing flush. This product changed how I think about blush. I no longer want that obvious powdery blush look, I want it to look similar to when I finish..well you know haha. I'm trying Flush next, but I absolutely LOVE blushing bride. Even if you are not into cheek stains, TRY THIS you will fall in love.

I love Tarte's cheek stains. My skin is so dry that powder blushes never work for me: I always need to use a gel or cream or stain. Tarte's stains are better than the incredibly famous Benetint, which is impossible to blend and way too red, and also better than Bobbi Brown's Pot Rouge, which doesn't last and tends to discolor after it's been on for a few hours. Tarte stains are sheer, blendable, and layerable if you want to build color, and when I take my make-up off at the end of the night, my blush is always still there.

My usual color is Natural Beauty, but it's the end of a long gray winter here and my skin is so pale that at the moment Natural Beauty doesn't really work with my coloring-it's a bit too ruddy, too dark. So I went to Sephora and tried a bunch of other colors, and Blushing Bride is my new favorite. Don't let the color of the tube or the color of the stain in its stick form scare you off! It's not purple at all. And it's not dark. Blushing Bride is actually a lot lighter than Natural Beauty.

And as long as I have your attention, let me say that the best way to apply these stains is with a foundation brush. You only need to swipe the brush across the stick of stain once to pick up enough color to do one cheek if you want a natural look. It's easy to add more.

Oh my gosh. I cannot explain in words how IN LOVE i am with this blush. It has amazing color, it's super blendable, super pigmented, and has the prettiest hint of color! Also, maybe this is just me, but it smells awesome too. Haha, i'm a weird girl. :P Anyway, overall, this blush is so good, you have to buy it!!!

I love this plumish color blush, it's not too dark but it does have a deeper color then what I am used too. I just love these cheek stains from Tarte, another win with sucky packaging!

application took a while to get down pat but eventually i opted for directly putting the container on my cheek and twisting it a bit up and down my cheekbone for a color that actually shows up well, although it is a bit sticky.very blendable, lasts a long time and blushing bride is a good color i think for all skin tones(it compliments my medium-tan skin and my sisters slightly fairer skin tone).
overall this is a good product and i would recommend it to anyone. the company is eco-freindly cruelty free and all their products use natural ingrediants :]

This cheek stain is a pretty peach color on my face. It almost looks like I rubbed a orange flavored popcicle on my cheeks. I expected it to be more of a pink shade because it is called "blushing bride" but it is more "tropical" on me. I like that it is very sheer and goes on my face very smooth. This tube will last a long time (a little goes a long way). It can also be applied to the lips for a sheer lip stain effect.

This is my favorite cheek product of all time! I really couldn't live without it just because of how natural it looks and how easy it is to apply. I was looking for a really nice cheek tint for when I didn't feel like spending a lot of time applying makeup. This was the first one I tried, and it is still my favorite! Blushing Bride was the second shade I picked up from Tarte's line of cheek stains. It is probably the most universally flattering shade (in my opinion) because it is very plummy and neutral. It just gives a really natural and healthy glow to the cheeks. If you can't decide on a shade, this one would be the one to try first!

I adore these cheek stains! Yes they are kinda pricy at $30 a pop, but they are huge (28.4g) and will last you 5 lifetimes. I also like that these contain natural ingredients and all that other good stuff. I don’t think these are really that sticky if you apply sparingly, either way I have dry skin so I do like that these are on the “sticky” side. It also helps to toss that inner insert cap so the product isn’t as “juicy”. Blushing bride looks near black in the tube, but swatched upon fingers it is a deep browned, pummy rosey shade. When applied to my cheeks, it gives a gorgeous sheer healthy flush. It’s not too red and not to purple. It’s just right. I find it very flattering on my warm, asian nc20-30/nars deauvalle skintone.

These stains are simple and flattering. I have Tickled, Cloud 9, Flush, True Love and Blushing Bride, and Bride is one of my favorites. The texture is the best gel I've come across (no streaky stains, no silicon slip, and not too sticky), and the result is far more natural than most powders. Blushing Bride is a deep rosy plum that gives my cheeks a neutral, translucent glow. Recommended.

I LOVE this cheek stain! It looks dark in the tube, but goes on sheer, which is perfect for me, since I have a lot of freckles. My first stick lasted 3 years, and I had to replace it more because it got kind of gross and less because I was running out of product (although I was definitely running low.) I haven't tried any other colors, so I can't compare it to Flush, but I like how this shade looks on my skin.

I finally broke down & got this from ACW for a 16.99 because I’ve been wanting this forever. I’m glad I didn’t pay full price. I like it, but I don’t loooove it, because its RED! I was really hoping for a cooler, more purplish-plum color, (maybe a slightly deeper version of Tarte’s cheekstain in ‘Flush’ which I also have). It’s a pretty neutral red, kind of reminds me of ‘Clinique Black Honey’. I wear it & I think it looks fine, but its not exactly what I was hoping for. It does give my cheeks a nice, warm rosy flush. I rub 2 fingers across the surface of the blush and then blend it on my cheeks overtop foundation. It blends easily and doesn’t look or feel greasy or sticky. I use it as a base for a touch of shimmery stick blush or bronzer. It lasts all day only fading slightly by the days end, and it hasn’t caused any skin problems. You get a ton of product for the price, it’s an excellent value considering this stick will last me forever. If you gravitate towards more reddish blush shades you’ll probably be very pleased with this. It’s a good product, just not exactly what I wanted.

Absolutely love! I love a stain of any kind, and this was the first real stain that I bought. I was kind of scared, it looked so dark in the tube, but it goes on incredibly sheer and lasts almost all day. It smells amazing...but definitely not a lip stain. The taste made me gag. I'll definitely repurchase!

I bought this at the start of summer and fell in love. I love the smell, although I think that's definitely a personal thing. On my skin tone it looks slightly... peach. Not coral but a darker, more natural shade. Perhaps because I was so tan at the time? It lasted all day in the humidity and pollution of New York and London, which was reason enough to buy it. Steep at $30 but well worth it. I honestly could live without any other blushes as long as I had this one. I have sensitive skin which becomes very dry in winter and this has never caused me any problems. Now I just have to find out where I can get it in the UK.

Up until now, I have been faithful to powder blushes, and I do have some great ones. However, they tend to age me, and look too "made up" on my skin. I heard about Tarte and wanted to give it a go. I decided to go with Blushing Bride, though I was skeptical of it showing up on my face as well as it did on my hand (I don't know if I'm more dark olive or more lighter-dark, but my complexion is similar to Zoe Saldana, take that as you will). After buying it, I went to the ladies' room of a department store to try it out.

Love it. Love it!

It added just that hint of color that my cheeks needed. Looked very natural, as if I had just been running outside. Blendable and buildable, a bit sticky but I didn't mind that. I know some people have mentioned it not lasting long, but it stayed put the rest of the day for me. $30 seems a hefty price but you pay for what you get. And you get a lot from this container, I'm sure I'll have plenty left by the end of 2011.

I will pass on using it as a lip stain, however. The taste is...blech.

This is Hands down my favorite piece of makeup that I own, definitely HG material. My cheeks are naturally pink, so I could never really wear blush, because everyone would recommend more peachy brown colors which made me feel like I should just wear bronzer. Then I found this beautiful cheek stain and it changed my life. Its more of a plummy color and did not exacerbate the red I already had in my cheeks but instead made me look like I was glowing from within. I also love that it isn't sparkly which a lot of blushes are. So if you want a really natural looking blush/cheek stain. I would run out and grab this. I know some people complain that its sticky but I noticed that it goes away especially when I set with loose powder. Also its smells awesome and will probably last forever.

Got the mini size of this from Ebay because I wanted to try the product to see if I'd like it, and the big ones last for a very very long time. The mini size is perfect, and you only need a little bit. A little goes a long way. This is perfect to throw in my makeup bag. I really like the Tarte cheek stains that I already have (TEN and Tipsy mini), and this one is great as well. I really love the gel consistency. It blends in perfectly and looks a lot more natural than powder and even some cream blushes. I like this color...it's a nice deep rosey color and looks like I have a natural flush from coming in from the cold. (perfect change for winter from my usual peachy/pink blushes). I have medium to tan warm skin, and this color seems like it would flatter most skin tones. Highly recommend this...seems like a more flattering alternative to the flush which would likely suit cool tones.
smells nice and tartes cheek stains a great for sensitive skin. my skin is pretty sensitive, and I've been able to wear these with no problem unlike some other brands.

I just discovered this with my sister over the weekend at Ulta... I forget which shade she bought, but I bought Blushing Bride and so far, I love this stuff! She wanted something that gave her that dewey celebrity look and the girl there suggested Tarte's cheek stains. I doubt I would have ever noticed these had she not pointed them out. It was the perfect color and finish we were looking for. I've tried a lot of stuff, believe me, but this gives a different look and feel than any other blush I've used. I have slightly olive skin and almost all blushes end up looking peachy on me and I've been wanting something that gives me a more pink/plum glow and this is it. It's a little strange to apply and I'm still perfecting the application, but overall it's easy to apply. I was a little nervous seeing the color in the tube, but it really is very sheer and you can just build to your desired color. After it sets, the stickiness goes away. I also like that it has more natural products in it than some other stuff out there. The price is definitely steep, but the girl at Ulta said it can last up to two YEARS! so that was enough for me to hear. It really does give you that nice glow everyone is talking about. I'm a fan!
