I love practically everything Philosophy. My DH got these for me as a stocking stuffer during Christmas a few years ago. The red and pink glosses are very sheer but give a nice shine. The sugar cookie is too white for my NC-45 skin tone so I pair it with other glosses and lipsticks. The scents are nice on these also.
Holiday Red = Red
Peppermint Patty = Pink
Sugar Cookie = White

Philosophy has wonderful lip glosses.
These three are wonderfully packaged for your purse and easy to apply. The taste/smell is nice but I prefer the original red the best. The color if the white is a bit hard to use on me. The texture of these are almost like a balm, not too sticky but has decent staying power. Definately moisturizing.

These glosses smell great, but didn't look too great on me. The white one doesn't work on my pale skin and lips, and the red and pink glosses are too sheer to make an impact.

This set of three lip glosses is really nice. The Peppermint Patty and Holiday Red are really pretty colors on my lips...very sheer, which i love. The Sugar Cookie one smells good, but there is really no way for me to wear it by itself...its shimmery whitish glop and it looks awful by itself. i sometimes mix a tiny bit of it with the Holiday Red, and it looks pretty good. all in all, its not a bad purchase.

I got this as an Christmas gift and was pretty happy about it until I tried them. The three colors are a shimmery pink, a shimmery opaque white, and a transparent red. The pink one smells like peppermint, and goes on kind of transparent. It looks nice but I hate the smell. The white one is supposed to be sugar cookie and it looks really gross on, kind of like frosted white lipstick from the 80's. I'm trying to see if I can do anything with this one. The transparent red looks nice and normal and I do like that one as well. I love the regular kiss me balm, and so I had hoped that I would have liked the set as much as the balm, but i was disappointed. Oh well, it was a gift and its a good deal for 3. For the amount in the pots, they will last me forever. I will stick to the clear balm.

I wish the sugar cookie tasted as wonderful as it smells. Plastic comes to mind when I think of the taste. Ugh! The peppermint patty smells deliciously minty but has the same plastic taste. Both of them were a bit sticky and wore off after just a short time, leaving an uncomfortable feeling. I am not sure I'll even try the last of the three flavors. I plan to return this for a refund.

Call me crazy, but I like all three of these lipglosses. The Holiday Red is a pretty much clear citrus-y scented gloss that goes on really watery to me. Never having tried Philosophy's Kiss Me balms before, I figured that's how they all are. The Peppermint Patty (lovely scent and taste) is a really sheer pink that goes on clear as well, but a lot thicker than the Holdiay Red, which I thought was kind of strange, but whatever. The Sugar Cookie is a frosty white that looks absoulutely horrid by itself, but when paired with a nudish berry lipstick/liner (I used Origins Matte Stick in Berry), it works wonders. It smells like this old lipgloss I used to have (True Colors in Hazelnut Creme or something... I forget), so it's kind of nostalgic for me. The taste however, isn't even anything near sugar cookies or any kind of thing you're supposed to eat. It tastes like plastic ass. The reason I gave it such a good rating was because I didn't pay for it, and they were all pretty nice and will probably last me forever.

I got this as the renamed 'valentine's day kisses'. I already use the reg. kiss me nightly, but I have been wanting to get this since x-mas, but never got the chance till now. Honestly, smelling straight from the jar the Sugar Kisses smells exactly like my Hazelenut Creme I get from starbucks, but when I put it on, I can tell the smell is masking the reg. Kiss Me odor. I quite like both though, Sugar Kisses and Peppermint French Kiss compared to the regular Kiss Me. Plus 25 for 3 is a better bargain than the 10 bucks for one deal.

I really love this set...I am sure that it will go bad before I can use it all...I think Philosophy should have made these pots smaller for this collection. The Sugar Cookie smell is divine and adds just a small amount of frostyness to the lips. The Red is wonderful at adding just a small amount of sheer red. The pink is rather minty and adds just a hint of pink to the lips. I received this in my stocking for Christmas and am happy about the choice. I love and use nightly the regular Kiss Me gloss, so this set will spice up my nightly routine a little bit!

Love this set. Kiss Me regular is one of my favorite at-home balms, so the set with its holiday flavored balms appealed to me. I think they smell delicious and they work as well as the original formula. An adorable idea!

Here's my take...I love the color of all 3: the red is a super glossy (almost slimy but in a good way) dark pink, the peppermint is a gorgeous pink that I wear regularly as a gloss, and the sugar cookie reminds me of the "icyness" of Nars Galactica. That being said, the peppermint has by far the best scent/taste. It's a faky mint flavor but not that bad. The red is okay as well..the scent/taste reminds me somewhat of oranges...and the sugar cookie is just PUTRID. It smells NOTHING like sugar cookies...more like a bad version of a mocha/cappacino flavor and the taste is worse.
I only recommend the peppermint..and that is for the color ONLY b/c it (as did the other 2) dried my lips out!!

I got this for Christmas. The Holiday Red gave a very sheer, more pink than red, tint. I was expecting more more of a reddish stain. And this smells--like a citrusy-chemical scent. Not very pleasant, but I'll keep using it, because it's not that strong. Peppermint Patty Shimmer is my favorite. I think it's the lip balm equivalent of UD's XXX Shine Gloss in Carney--same tingly feel, same pink tint, shine, shimmer and mint scent/flavor. Lastly, Sugar Cookie Shimmer--lovely vanilla sugar cookie scent, but hardly any taste. Leaves a pearly white shimmer which isn't frosty and doesn't wash me out. These are all great moisturizers and I would buy the LE ones again, if they were available separately. These are in pots and are packaged in a plastic cylindrical container. All in all, this was a cute, fun gift.

I'm so very disappointed in these. I've been having a great run with Philosophy products. I'm a lip balm addict so I thought these would be great in my line up. WRONG!! I tried the red one which doesn't have bad scent kind of like citrus but it stung my lips so bad. So I tried the pink peppermint one, same thing happend.. My lips hurt so bad. My lips were on fire. $25 for this junk. This is going back. I supposed it would be ok for someone whose lips don't dry so easy but if you suffer from eternally chapped dry lips as I do. STAY AWAY THIS WILL MAKE IT WORSE.

Got this as a gift. The Sugar Cookie smells absolutely yummy and gives my lips a shimmery pale sheen, which is perfect alone or over lipstick. The Peppermint Patty smells good and leaves a shiny, pink color on my lips, but also makes them tingle (because of the menthol content)which is distracting and kinda annoying. The regular red Kiss Me is great as usual - very moisturizing and gives a gorgeous rosy color (sans scent). With the amount of product in these three pots, I have no need to repurchase before next winter's holiday edition comes out.

I actually like most of this set. I gave the Sugar Cookie one away immediately, because there was no way it was going to look good on me, but I love the pink one, and have been using it every day. My lips are very soft, and I love the pink and red gloss over WnW #666 or a nude liner. My problem: $25 is exorbitant, IMO. If my sales resistance hadn't been ridiculously low the day I bought it, I never would have gotten it, but I did, and I do like them. Also taking off points for pots versus tubes (hate messy fingers).

What a HUGE let down :( I lusted after this set for 2 weeks...finally gave in and got it only to return it 1 hour later !!! The cookie one smelled YUMMY but gave my lips this white sheen that made my teeth look yellow (and they aren't) and faded my lip color completely ! The pink one was totally clear on me...I have pigmented lips and this didn't show up at all ! The red one was the only one I liked...it deepened my lip color a bit (not as much as I would have liked).

All in all...I was extremely saddened by this ! Also the texture was a bit more watery in comparison to the clear Kiss Me lip balm (in the tube).

I'm actually really liking these lip glosses/lip balms! I'd never tried Philosophy Kiss Me before but I bought the holiday set and I am pretty happy with it! The red is a nice, basic, moisturizing balm with a hint of color - it reminds me of how my lips look when I use the Bonne Bell Dr. Pepper lipsmacker! The red is definitely the most moisturizing of the three. The Peppermint is a medium frosty pink in the tub, doesn't really apply with all that much color but I must admit as a Carmex fan I like that little tingle of menthol! And finally the Sugar Cookie is just a very lightly frosted, slightly shimmery white - probably best over another lippie. I don't think any of these are extremely scented or flavored. Yeah, once in a while I get a hint of something synthetic but it's not bothersome enough for me to want to wipe them off or stop using them. Pot glosses aren't the greatest for keeping the product sanitary, but I can live with it. Anyway, there's a lot of product in here, it's decent and multi-purpose (balm, gloss, over other lippies). The colors are subtle enough that you probably could give this as a gift and be pretty confident that it would get used. I'm happy I bought this set and have been enjoying using it!

Makes a great gift! I really wanted the Peppermint Patty after trying it in Sephora, so splurged on the set and gave away the Red and the Sugar Cookie to two friends who love them to pieces. I have enough other lip balms that I would never use up all three myself, but the rate at which I'm applying the Peppermint, I may come darn close. Rave from me!

This set is great! I got it in a really fun CP swap. The red smells like berry and leaves a nice reddish tint/shine with a little bit of pink to it. The pink smells like a delicious peppermint patty and has a pretty pink sheen (my favorite). The white definitely smells like sugar cookie (with a teeny bit of plastic, but thats ok) and goes on with a white frost. They don't taste *that bad*, not exactly good, but nothing to keep you from getting this awesome set.. the shine, color and fragrance more then make up for it! But the price is a little crazy for just balms.

Ordered these from Sephora for 25.00. Not a bad price for three lip balms of this size. They are the regular size of the kiss me balm in the pot just in case you were wondering. The glosses themselves are not "bad" though after a couple hours of having used kiss me balms my lips seem to feel dry. The peppermint is the only thing worth getting in this set. It is a nice pinky color and gives a touch of color to your lips, and it smells nice, very much like I have a mint in my mouth. Now the sugar cookie one is another story. It smells OK. It smelss a little coconutty to me, but I can very much smell sugar cookies in this. But it tastes like ass! Ass and nutrasweet, or ass and any type of artificial sweetner. Very Gross! And the color???? It looks frosty white in the pot,I am thinking it would go on sheer like the others. Well not on my lips. It went on frosty. and not a good kind of frosty, it looked greyish purple on my lips. Not very attractive at all. And did I mention it tastes like Ass?
On to the last one, the red, which is called Holiday red in the set. Same color as always, very very very sheer redish color. Eh, really could have done without these. Now I have three pots of something I am pretty sure dries my lips out, tastes like ass, smells decent, and cost me 25.00!
I would pass these up and spend 25.00 on another good balm/gloss and just eat a peppermint and some sugarcookies if that is what you are looking for. :) And I will not be repurchasing these, as a matter of fact I am sure I will still have them next year!
