This is a nice understated taupe and I find myself using this a lot as my base eyeshadow. It is very subtle with some shimmer but not too much. It applies smoothly. Don't expect much from this - it really is best as a base or highlighter only. I'm taking a lippy off for the annoying packaging (the square lid comes off completely and with difficulty - no easy flip top mechanism) and because I wish there was a smidge more taupe in the mix.

I've been looking for a shimmery highlighter that's not too frosty. It's a light beige grey colour that highlights well and doesn't look chalky. The consistency of the eyeshadow is pretty okay for a drugstore product, but not super long lasting. I got this on sale for $3, so it was a great buy, in my opinion. Just don't expect it to last too long on you!

Yeah, this is a great everyday, shimmery neutral. Sort of a champagne colour, one sweep and it's like "my lids but better." Wears well, doesn't irritate, and can multi-task as a highlighter.

After realizing that I was strangely lacking in neutral e/s colors, I picked up Inspiration at Wally World for a couple of bucks. (Actually, something like $1.62...fabulously cheap.) It's a shimmery silvery-taupe, but goes on the eye a bit lighter than what you see in the pan. Would have liked to have seen more of the taupe coming through. Not the softest shadow around, but it's okay. Goes on smoothly and wears well. I especially love using this with purples and browns, but I can't think of anything it wouldn't look good with, except maybe some very warm colors. I'm not crazy about the packaging of this. The whole lid comes off, like a little jewelry box. A flip-top would have been much easier and convenient. I know I'm going to break off a nail one day trying to get this thing open. But that's nitpicking, really. Great little shadow for a very small price...just the way I like 'em!

Exactly my kind of neutral shimmer taupe! So very pretty and understated and glam all at the same time! Very affordable too.

This product is a great highlighter for my eyes. If I want to add an extra zing to my daily makeup routine. I just apply a little to the corner of my eyes and a little on my eyelids.

Great shimmer and beautiful neutral color.

This is one of my favorite neutral shadows. It is a light taupe with subtle shimmer that applies smoothly and stays crease-free all day. It works well for those days when you just want something natural, and it also works as a base with another darker color in the crease. This versatile shadow is well worth the price (less than $2).
